I had my car towed to Barrie Kia a couple of weeks ago, and since then the experience has been beyond frustrating. Communication is practically nonexistent.
In the last two weeks, I’ve only managed to actually speak with the service team once about my vehicle. During that call, I was told the engine had failed and that someone would call me back with next steps. That call never came.
Every other time I’ve called, when I do manage to reach someone, they simply take my name and number, promise they’ll “get back to me soon,” and then… nothing. No follow-up, no updates, no sense of urgency or professionalism.
They claim diagnostics were done, but based on the lack of information, updates, or documentation, it honestly feels like nothing has been done at all. Even more concerning, corporate reached out and left them a message, and that still didn’t prompt any action or communication.
For a dealership service department, this level of unresponsiveness is unacceptable. I’ve been left completely in the dark about my own vehicle, with no timelines, no explanations, and no accountability.
This is, without question, the worst customer service experience I’ve had in my life. If you value communication, professionalism, or basic respect for your time, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
