Review Rating: 1/5 Stars Employees Dealt With: Greg - Slim

Review Rating: 1/5 Stars Employees Dealt With: Greg Chisholm (Service Manager), Leslie Cooper / Service Staff I am deeply disappointed with the level of care and customer service provided by the service department at 401 Dixie Kia. Over my last two visits, a clear and frustrating pattern has emerged: every single time I bring my vehicle in for service, I leave the dealership with a completely new, unaddressed issue that wasn't there before. The first time this happened, the secondary issue was only minimally and poorly rectified after I left initial feedback. My second visit has left me with an outstanding issue that has yet to be resolved, and the dealership's complete breakdown in communication since then is unacceptable. I have given this establishment multiple opportunities to make things right. I filled out three separate service surveys detailing my experience, expecting a standard customer care follow-up. Silence. I then escalated the matter directly by emailing the Service Manager, Greg Chisholm, to his personal dealership email to explain the situation. He has completely ignored my email and has failed to return my phone calls. To complement the lack of leadership from management, the front-line female service staff member I dealt with was incredibly dismissive and condescending when I brought up my concerns. Leaving a client with a malfunctioning vehicle after a service appointment is bad enough, but completely stonewalling them when they look for a resolution is terrible business practice. I highly recommend taking your vehicle elsewhere for maintenance if you expect basic competence, professional communication, and managerial accountability.

We purchased our Kia from Guelph Kia with the help of - wwf.

We purchased our Kia from Guelph Kia with the help of Ryan Langdon. What a great person ! Everyone there was so friendly. If your looking for a vehicle, stop in and have a look. They're not pushy at all. You'll really be surprised at how you are treated. Make sure to you grab a coffee, it's the best. We can't say enough.

After 30 years of owning Mazda's, I decided to purchase - Ray123

After 30 years of owning Mazda's, I decided to purchase my first Kia as I was looking for a gas hybrid. I chose 417 Kia based on their positive reviews, perhaps my experience is an anomaly. While the purchase went as you would expect from a dealership, the customer service disappeared the moment the sale was finalized. My salesperson lost interest and stopped responding to my follow-up questions. The vehicle handover was disappointing, with minimal explanation of the car's features -- salesperson was too busy so he handed the task to someone else. Trying to get basic information from the dealership afterward has been a challenge. Fortunately, I have since found a more helpful Kia dealership. Moving forward, they will be getting my business for parts, service, tires, rims, and ongoing maintenance.

Very friendly team and excellent communication. - Teresa

Very friendly team and excellent communication. I was kept informed throughout the process and never had to chase anyone for an update.

Purchased a vehicle from Georgetown Kia and deeply regret - AD10

Purchased a vehicle from Georgetown Kia and deeply regret my decision as the vehicle almost caught on fire less than 2000km off their lot. Adrian Jurcic was the sales rep who sold me a vehicle in extremely rough condition and ignored my needs. Prior to purchase, I mentioned to Adrian that I was moving to remote location where we didn’t have regular access to mechanics and that I needed something reliable and durable. Adrian sold me a vehicle with 4 seized brakes, electrical problems, leaks underneath, leaks in the tonneau cover, and on top of that, imperfections in the paint WERE actively hidden by their detailing team as deep scratches and imperfections started appearing all over as the product they applied to the paint started to wear off. On top of that, after reaching out to Adrian, he ignored me. Be extremely cautious when dealing with KIA Georgetown and Adrian. Again, the vehicle they sold me almost caught fire as I was driving, and less than 2000km off of their lot. Do not recommend this dealership. Pictures don’t do justice with the amount of smoke that came out, videos show more, would give zero stars if possible.

Good support and coordination. - Sony

Good support and coordination. Well explained the assessment and recommended for the safety of the vehicle. Keep up the good work

Purchased a used SUV from Orleans Kia. - zachg

Purchased a used SUV from Orleans Kia. First week of owner ship the transmission failed. Orleans Kia did absolutely nothing to help or make the issue resolved. Was lied to over and over. Now stuck with a $40k lemon. Orleans Kia does not stand behind what they sell. Avoid at all cost!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! - Mary/James

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Rony Toma made buying my Seltos the easiest and most enjoyable car-shopping experience I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked into Kia of xx. Catharines, there was zero pressure. He took the time to listen to exactly what I needed, answered every single question, and made sure I felt confident every step of the way. If you’re looking for someone honest, knowledgeable, and genuinely focused on getting you into the right car, go see Rony!

I am deeply disappointed by my experience working at - wearebaseballfans

I am deeply disappointed by my experience working at Cambridge Kia. Based on my experience, I felt that employees were expected to work well beyond their scheduled eight-hour day, often closer to 12 hours, without compensation that reflected those additional expectations. I also experienced significant concerns regarding compensation. In my view, commissions were not paid as I understood my employment agreement, leaving me feeling undervalued and misled. What disappointed me most was the overall treatment of employees. Respect, transparency, and integrity are essential in any workplace, and unfortunately I did not experience those values here. If you have a moral compass, I would seriously reconsider purchasing or working for this company. The atmosphere left me feeling that employees were viewed as expendable rather than appreciated for their hard work and dedication. I hope ownership takes an honest look at how staff are treated and makes immediate meaningful changes. Employees deserve to be paid fairly, treated with respect, and have the terms of their employment honored. I politely asked that they make this right. A President individual assured me he would make sure the 401 Group handled everything correctly on their end. This morning my paystub reflected their lack of care in regards to taking care of their employees. I will consider removing this review when they make things right today.

At the time of my car delivery, it was explicitly agreed - sharonlynnstrader

At the time of my car delivery, it was explicitly agreed that my $500 credit card deposit would be refunded back to my card rather than applied to the vehicle transaction. After waiting a couple of weeks and seeing no refund on my statement, I called and spoke directly with the financial officer I was dealing with. Sully assured me that my refund was being processed and that a physical cheque was being sent to me in the mail. After waiting another week and a half with nothing arriving in the mail, I called back. A different representative looked into it and gave me completely conflicting information—claiming the money had actually been applied to the price of the car instead. I requested a finalized copy of my Bill of Sale which was to be emailed the next day, to verify this but that paperwork was never sent. Furthermore, I have left subsequent messages for my finance officer to clarify these contradictions, and my calls are now being completely ignored, as is a complaint sent directly to Dilawri support. I know that errors happen, and if it was a genuine mistake on the paperwork, that is fine—but the lack of transparency, broken promises, and complete refusal to return a customer's phone calls is highly unprofessional, especially after spending $50,000 on a vehicle. I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a reliable, professional experience and will likely not trade-up or shop there in the future

Brought my Kia Would in due to a creaking noise when - RippedoffbyKiaBarrie

Brought my Kia Would in due to a creaking noise when turning right. Was told it was the lower control arms and ball joints. Parts were ordered and was told to return the following Tuesday for repair. Got a phone call a couple hrs after drop.off from service writer stating the car had multiple safety issues. Definitely not what I was told the Friday before. Doug Latour then stated he would call me back. He did and then claimed he mixed up the paperwork. At the end the day he called again to state the work was done but was still making the same noise and would require bushings??? which he would order in for the following week. Picked up my car paid $1140 for an unnecessary repair. On the back of the receipt in hand writing was "verified creaking noise from frt suspension when turning full right only. Knocking noise heard also. -frt end links loose 1.5 $80 L/F outer tie rod loose 1.0 $75 ** Possible strut tops ** 3.0 $150 On the front of the page was written and then crossed out- -slf outer tie rods -front sway bar end links Fully knowing was getting scammed and upsold on unnecessary repairs repairs, I took it to an independent registered and TRUSTED mechanic who knew right away what the issue was, the front sway bar link, the item that was scratched over on the Kia receipt hand written notes. I am furious, this is not just shoddy service, this is illegal. I contacted the service manager, demanded my money refunded which he claimed he wasn't authorized to do and we need to contact his manager Dave Redman. I contacted Kia Canada and opened a complaint, which they said they couldn't demand they refund me but would reach out to the owners and gave me the email of this Dave Redman the regional manager for the Barrie Kia. Have reached out to Ontario Consumer protect and ope and case with them. Do not let Kia Barrie's service department get away with this corrupted business practices, report them every single time.

Cory Emily Sajae and the whole service team are amazing. - Maureen Moynahan

Cory Emily Sajae and the whole service team are amazing. Super helpful, listened to my concerns, helped find best solutions, and were ready to help immediately. Highly recommend. Thank you for all you do!!!

I recommended this service centre but I am very - Dorcas Sampson

I recommended this service centre but I am very disappointed with today's visit. I came in for a service for my car, which I paid for. The customer sales manager said that if I traded in my car that day for a new car, he would honor the payment for my next service (this would be my new car). However, when I came in today, that payment was not honored. It had not been noted on file either. I ended up paying for today's service when I had already paid the last time. This is my third purchase of a car from this dealership, and I was very upset and disappointed.

If I could give it a zero, I would! - Boooo Boyer

I rarely leave negative reviews, but after this - HUGO

I rarely leave negative reviews, but after this experience, I feel it's important to share it so others know what to expect. It took nearly two months of back-and-forth to complete the purchase of our vehicle from Leggat Kia. After all that time, we were excited to finally take delivery of a vehicle costing over $60,000. Unfortunately, our excitement disappeared almost immediately when we discovered that the Lane Keep Assist system was not functioning properly. What was even more disappointing than the issue itself was the response from the dealership. Rather than working with us to resolve a legitimate concern, we were met with resistance. When I raised the issue, Aarun Wissa's attitude was dismissive and, at times, quite rude. To his credit, Sales Manager Soheil stepped in and genuinely attempted to help, but despite his efforts, the issue was never satisfactorily resolved. I've purchased more than 40 vehicles over my lifetime (and no, I'm not a dealer), so I have a fair amount of experience dealing with salespeople and dealerships. Without hesitation, I can say this was one of the poorest buying experiences I've had. Throughout the sales process, Aarun made numerous promises to earn the sale. In particular, he encouraged me to sell one of my collector cars directly to him, assuring me that he would make up the difference through the purchase of the new vehicle. Once the deal was completed, however, those promises disappeared. It became clear that the commitments made during the sales process were simply not honored afterward. Buying a vehicle is about more than signing paperwork. It's about trust, honesty, and standing behind your customer after the sale. Unfortunately, I did not experience any of those qualities here. Leggat Kia has lost my business, and I would not purchase another vehicle from this dealership. I also cannot recommend working with Aarun Wissa based on my experience. There are many dealerships and many sales professionals who value long-term relationships over short-term sales. Based on what I experienced, I would encourage prospective buyers to consider those alternatives.

I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. - Deppesh

I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. I purchased a used car and noticed during the test drive that the vehicle displayed an oil change reminder. When I picked up the car, the reminder had been cleared, which led me to believe the oil had been changed. However, later that same day, I received a warning that the engine oil level was very low. When I contacted the dealership, they admitted they hadn’t changed the oil but had simply reset the notification—without informing me. This lack of transparency and basic responsibility is extremely disappointing. Never trusting this dealership again.

Very professional and polite. - Sari

Very professional and polite. They always let me know what I need and don't lie about me not needing it right that minute. My car is always taken in almost as soon as I arrive. The Dealership is always clean, with a nice place to sit. They have coffee and a vending machine. This is the only Dealership I have ever trusted with my car. And not all Kia Dealerships are created equal! Cars cost alot of money and Dealerships SHOULD look after their customers. Fortunately I'm with a Dealership that cares very much about their Customers. And I thank them every time my car goes in for Service. I truly have nothing bad to say about anyone there and believe me, I am the first one to complain if there is something to complain about.

Never take your car to this dealership for maintenance. - Majd

Never take your car to this dealership for maintenance. They will overcharge you and do little to nothing to fix the actual issues. Their inspections are not professional—they seem more focused on pushing you to buy a new car than properly servicing your current one. The service team, including the manager, are impolite and unprofessional. They literally told me not to come back and said I was “freaking people out” just because I asked for the inspection report and didn’t want to pay without receiving it. The technician claimed the wiper motor was damaged and needed replacement, quoting me hundreds of dollars. However, I showed him that one wiper was working. I then took the car to another shop, and they simply tightened the other wiper—everything worked perfectly, and they didn’t even charge me. Meanwhile, this dealership wanted to charge $170 for the inspection alone, plus hundreds more for unnecessary repairs.

Just drove home in our new second hand Kia Sportage 2021 - fanzotina

Just drove home in our new second hand Kia Sportage 2021 RED. Love the car. The service was exceptional, truly. Our sales rep was Winston - his mother must be so proud. Charming, polite, patient and very knowledgeable. Even upon pickup a week later he was not in any rush to show us how the vehicle operates and didn't let us leave until we felt comfortable. This car had a small interior odour issue which they rectified to my delight. Spotless.

I went in to get an oil change and they also fixed my license plate with no problems at all! Absolutely amazing customer service and fast service! Would 100% recommend purchasing from Kia.

Lack of diagnostic of car, complaint for hydraulic issue - Asif Sadruddin

Lack of diagnostic of car, complaint for hydraulic issue (cylinder within warranty), they checked brake, rotor, and caliper. The comments were because I changed the pads from the outside, which is not working with the Rotor (complete nonsense). The Calipher was leaking and they are willing to replace it as the car is under warranty, however, no parts were available in the parts section, they have to order it and the parts will come after one week. They charged me diagnostic fees. I replace the Calipher from outside in one day. The hydraulic problem didn't resolved. I went again with my mechanic and explained on Saturday, they gave me an appointment for Monday. I dropped the car and this time they took the drive and finally found the issue, I was correct, it was a Cylinder issue, kept the car for 2 days due to parts coming from Vancouver. Now, I am asking for a refund of the diagnostic fees they charged me for an incomplete diagnostic. The receptionist wrote an email to the service manager who was supposed to contact me, but unfortunately no response from Bessada Kia. My car went 2 times in 6 months, one for the water pump and the second for the master cylinder, both under warranty. The question: Is KIA a reliable car? within 3 years Water pump, caliper, and master cylinder were replaced, due to poor-quality parts.

I returned to Cardinal Kia again to purchase another new - charlenepasquini

I returned to Cardinal Kia again to purchase another new car and met with Kirk, my 'go to' salesman. As in the past Kirk was proffessional and addressed all my needs. I also met with Majid, Manager, to finalize the car and he was as always sincere and heard my needs . The final team player, Durda explained the paperwork with detail and care. I will continue to make this Dealership and their caring team my first choice. Thank again everyone
