I purchased a used 2021 Ram ProMaster from Dilawri - marco.moscatel
I purchased a used 2021 Ram ProMaster from Dilawri Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram at 370 West Hunt Club Road on March 18, 2026, and this has turned into by far the worst vehicle purchasing experience of my life.
Only 33 days after taking possession of the vehicle, and after driving just 3,202 km during my ownership, the transmission suffered catastrophic failure and required complete replacement.
What makes this situation even worse is the complete lack of support and communication from the dealership afterward. Emails and phone calls eventually went unanswered, and Hussein, the Used Car Sales Manager who had been handling the file, effectively disappeared from communication altogether despite the seriousness of the issue.
The problems also extend beyond the transmission failure itself. The dealership failed to complete agreed-upon repairs before delivery. The driver’s side mirror was supposed to be replaced as part of the sales agreement. First, I was told the mirror would arrive in mid-May. Then I was told mid-July. Months later, the issue still remained unresolved.
To make matters worse, the third-party warranty sold to me with the vehicle turned out to be essentially worthless when I actually needed it. After a catastrophic transmission failure only a month into ownership, I was still left paying out of pocket for major repairs on a vehicle that failed almost immediately after purchase, all while simultaneously being ignored by the dealership.
I have purchased vehicles before, including through private sellers, and I can honestly say I have had smoother and more trustworthy experiences buying privately than dealing with this dealership.
The lack of communication, failure to follow through on contractual obligations, and overall disregard shown toward me as a customer have been unacceptable.
I am giving this dealership 1 star only because it is the lowest rating I can give.
I strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing a used vehicle from this dealership to thoroughly inspect everything, get every promise in writing, carefully consider how post-sale issues may be handled if something goes wrong, and ultimately consider purchasing from a different dealer altogether.
