Booked 1st appointment of the day...oil change and rotation of tires. Was told 1.5 hours required. Perfect I had clients in the City Calgary for noon. Dropped my vehicle off at 8 am 11 am no communication patiently waiting on my vehicle, and courtesy pick up No answer @ Service department left 3 messages, called the Service Manager 11:15 am Service manager returned my call told me vehicles dropped off are noon pickups???? Not impressed. Pick up 11:15 am Truly, the employee I dealt with with at 8 am ignored me in the service department 2X his wonderful coworker reminded him professionally I was there to pick up my vehicle. Do not recommend this Business in my Community will not return to this business.

This is the absolute worst dealer to deal with. They prey on those who are inexperienced with buying and who puts their trust in them and then once they have the deal done you are basically dead to them. My brother in law bought a truck from them. Drove it only from the dealership to Red Deer. We noticed right away the transmission was slipping. Brought it back the next day and they absolutely wouldn't do a single thing for them only give a 5000km warranty. Um they live in Fort Mcmurray. What are they supposed to do with a 5000 km warranty if the transmission goes. It basically has not moved since it was driven back to Fort Mcmurrag. It was brought to the dealership in Fort McMurray and they are saying there is something wrong with the differential and wheel bearings and will cost $5000 out of his own pocket to fix? What the actual xxxx? The truck supposedly passed an expecting and had severe issues right from the lot. It is an absolute lemon and they are making him be stuck with a high payment for 7 years for a vehicle he cannot drive. Besides this mess they also lied to him from the get go. He was interested in another truck and while working on the deal they came back and said he wasn't approved for the truck. But the truck was the same year and basically the same price. It then got removed from the website. They sold it and then lied about it and sold him the lemon he is now stuck with. Do yourself a favor and do not give this place the time of day. They do not deserve to be in business. Dollar signs in their eyes and kicks dirt on their hard working customers who has to work hard for years to pay off a vehicle they should get to enjoy and should be reliable. Instead it costs nothing but stress, anxiety and thousands of dollars. Unreal!!!

Use Caution When Purchasing Used At Kentwood. The process to start was amazing. I had been looking for a while and Larry went above and beyond to show me my vehicle on his day off. Then began the downside. I fell in love with the truck and the price. We went for a test drive and I liked it. But I heard a squeal from the breaks. The squeak wasn't horrible "Yet". I thought maybe it was just from sitting, in fact when I bought my previous vehicle it squeaked when brand new. It eventually stopped. I didn't think about it too much during the buying process. When I decided to proceed, my salesman asked me to come in at a certain time and he was busy. no big deal right, I am excited and willing to wait. The purchase is completed. Yes, I opted out of any additional warranties because the mechanical fitness assessment was excellent and I trusted that they would not sell me a vehicle and lie about that. 1 week later the vehicle won't start. I called my finance manager at Kentwood to find out about any initial warranties. He said 30 days over 5000. He said I may be covered for this if it was an alternator or related. My salesman says he will take it to the shop put it on a charger for the day and pick me up at work at the end of the day. He got busy and abandoned me at work. I had to spend money on an Uber. I pick up my truck and he says there is nothing wrong with it and to not leave the AUX on. He made me feel like a stupid woman. I took it home and the next morning it wouldn't start. I pulled the battery out of the truck and took it to a mechanic to test it. It was so so dead. the battery was garbage. The mechanical assessment said it was good. 250.00 later it now starts. amazingly a whole bunch more options work now, so it was dead when I bought it. Shifty. back to the brakes. After driving for almost a month now. the brakes are not getting better, they are getting worse. much worse!!!!! Because of how I was treated, I am scared to go back. I have had several people offer their opinions. From squealers to glazed brakes. All of this was a problem before I bought it. Some crazed service woman yelled at me when I was sent down there by the salesman to have it checked out. Kentwoods mechanic said the brakes are good but the rotters are rusty and should get better with time. they aren't they are getting worse. But the crazed lady went at me like a rabid dog. She was saying that I had to pay and she was going to lose her job and she was far from being nice to a customer. Anyway, Kentwood and the mechanical assessment said the brakes are fine.....I am so incredibly embarrassed to stop my vehicle because of the very very loud noise. The sound of springs or coils pinging is a concern as well. and sometimes even while rolling the brakes sound like they are stuck on. What a horrible experience. I traded in a perfectly good vehicle that was in amazing mechanical shape and well cared for to buy a vehicle that they lied to me about and have yet to correct their mistake.

I spot some oil leaking and so I got the car inspected it needs about 7k of work on it and universal ford are not accepting any liability, absolute con artists, stay clear don't buy from them. Horrible and highly unprofessional experience. After test driving a truck, the sales manager said he would work with us on making a deal. The ‘working with us’ eventually ended up with him giving us his word and SHAKING OUR HANDS on a deal at the very end of the day. When leaving to draw up the paperwork, he apparently gets a phone call from the owner of Maclin Ford telling him the deal of discounting $279 he promised to us is not approved and the sale of the vehicle can not go through. My husband and I walked away on principle. Maclin Ford for should be ashamed of their conduct and poor customer service. I will never be returning to this location, and I will be spreading the word as much as possible to avoid Maclin Ford. Please also note that we were never given the opportunity to speak directly with senior management.

Brought my 2023 Ford Bronco Sport in for a Safety Recall issued by Ford Canada to this scabby dealership. Dropped my vehicle off just after 6:00 am on Friday, June 14, 2023. My vehicle was in perfect condition when I dropped it off, different story when I picked it up. The service technician dropped something on my windshield and cracked big time. Marlborough ford losers are saying the vehicle was like that when I dropped it off. Buyer beware avoid this loser dealership at all cost.

The quote from Clarence was very reasonable, the work was completed without issue and ahead of schedule, and the final bill was even less than the original quote (this speaks to the honesty and integrity of this dealership). Terrible service, and every visit seems to surface more 'money grab' problems. The last issue with them, I was rear ended in my car. The insurance company wouldn't accept that the ABS module was damaged by the collision, and Hansen backed up the insurance company's claim, rather than a repeat customer (I've purchased 3 new vehicles from their lot). Further, they over estimated the price of parts to repair by more that 30%, as I purchased the parts myself from a dealership on the other side of the country for almost half what Hansen quoted. The labor time estimates were WAY more than what the job to replace and reprogram the new module and HCU actually takes to do, claiming a full day for the reprogramming which actually only takes about 15 minutes. (I would do it myself, but Lincoln has the programming locked for Ford/Lincoln techs only for a 7 y/o vehicle). I've received no support through the entire ordeal from this dealership, and they now block my calls and emails when I attempt to get my car back on the road. Further, they kept my car for almost 2 months before even communicating to me what the diagnostics had found. Terrible customer service, no support for repeat buyers, unless of course you're an oil company buying fleets.

I Received Such a high level of disrespect from the people At heartland ford. When I purchase the vehicle The people I was dealing with at heartland ford told me that the car had two sets of tires. One set was already on the car which was the winter set. The other set Heartland ford put in the back for me. These tires were in the back of the car when I test drove it! The guy with us even commented on how there were 2 sets of tires. When i bought the car Nobody from Heartland ford went outside and went over the vehicle with me. Now summer is quickly approaching So I brought the tires that Heartland ford dealership gave me when i originally purchased the vehicle. I brought the tires To the dealership to get changed. Heartland Ford told me that they were the wrong tires... They told me that I was a liar and These Tires We're not the tires for the vehicle i traded in . I was taken back because first off I have no other tires!! .I never had any other tires! Unless I gave you guys a vehicle without any tires on it! The only tires that I have are the tires Heartland Ford Gave me When I bought the vehicle!!! Second they just called me a liar!!! They refuse to acknowledge that Someone at Heartland Ford dealership Made a mistake and gave me the wrong tires!
