Summing it up: - Sales rep lied when directly asked if there were any claims on carproof report (vehicle has a front end damage claim - the cause of issues that immediately presented when I picked it up; test drive instructed route was extremely short), failed to provide a copy of the vehicle report, failed to comply with several OMVIC policies (including state of AC, disclosing information that would alter a buyer's purchase of the vehicle - having known that the vehicle history was directly asked, etc.), and I'm out money in rental vehicle costs while repairs were being done. Assistant sales management's response was 'you're problem now, all sales final, I won't be compensating you'. Dave's customer service skills are appalling. He alone is enough to discourage customers from repeating sales at this dealership. - They do not complete a proper safety inspection. My turn signal was literally hanging off the car. They tucked it in place long enough to have me pick up the car from the dealership. Improper safety checks can lead to serious injuries for the buyer. I had to take the car to a different location to get it inspected after picking it up the second time. - Rotting food, fruit flies, personal data from previous owners left programmed in the car when I picked it up from the dealership. Obviously the interior was a disaster, but the exterior of the car was not even washed. - Extremely bad customer service. When asking to speak with management, the response from the assistant sales manager, Dave Kehyeian, was constantly "there is no manager, I am the boss". He was asked more than six times for me to be transferred to someone above him in authority and he kept lying. Physically drive there to speak with the general manager or email the general manager directly. Dave will deny that there is one and he will also be extremely condescending. The general manager is very nice and my interaction with him was outstanding (he offered a resolution that I was happy with). Unfortunately, front line employees are who interact with customers and sell vehicles. I would not advise buying a car from the sales staff at this location. Due to the extremely negative experience with the sales rep, assistant manager , service department employees, and the concern for safety with vehicles bought from this dealership, I will go out of my way to drive to a different Honda dealership for future purchases (approximately every 3-4 years for trade-in) and advise others to do the same. More

STAY AWAY FROM MARKHAM HONDA SALES DEPARTMENT!!! SCAM, once you paid your deposit, you are of no value to them Buying my car at Markham Honda was a horrible nightmare for me. They will scam you SCAM, once you paid your deposit, you are of no value to them Buying my car at Markham Honda was a horrible nightmare for me. They will scam you for your credit card without letting you see the buying agreement. And once they have your credit card for deposit, you are of no value to them; the service went downhill immediatley . Jack, the finance manager, was a jerk to deal with. In my entire life I have never deal with such a snob. He ordered the wrong car for me, but never replied to my email to rectify his mistake. He messed up my payment schedule now I am stuck with the wrong payment schedule for my entire finance term; unfortunately Honda Canada cannot do anything about it because Jack REFUSED to fix it (Yes, Honda Canada called him, he simply said he will not do it). I can go on forever with the mistakes they have made throughout the entire purchase. - Messed up my license plate registration - Refused to honour the freebies that come with the car until I escalate - Messed up my finance application, they fast tracked to apply for a loan without my signature - Lost the copy of driver license - Messed up my payment schedule - My new car was paint problems, they made me pay another visit to fix it; then when I went back on my second visit they said the person who was supposed to fix it left for the day; which means I have to go back to a third visit. Overall it was a terrible experience. Buying a car from Markham Honda was one of biggest regret. They may offer you a cheaper price comparing to other dealership, but trust me, the headache that you went thru is not worth a hundred dollars of savings. The service department do have excellent service though. The advisors are all very nice, offer good shuttle service, decent waiting louge for customers. Service your car at Markham Honda is not a problem, just don't buy it from them. More

Raza was able to work out a deal for us that we were both happy about. As well as the sale manager, taking the time to personally greet us and ensure a sales representative was available to help us. Welcoming atmosphere and great energy. I would definitely refer family and friends to Honda Markham. More

AVOID this dealership!! I bought a used Fit from this dealership last December. The problem started when the finance manager (and my salesperson) lied to me about the finance I bought a used Fit from this dealership last December. The problem started when the finance manager (and my salesperson) lied to me about the finance rates and providers. Then when I got the car home, I realized that despite being safetied and "certified" by their service department, they had somehow missed the fact that the car had NO interior lights working! (NO lightbulbs) Which I paid to get fixed! Recently I realized that the all-season tires they included (in the trunk) were the WRONG size for the car! It's taken over 2 weeks, I've called, sent emails. Not 1 person EVER returned my call. I got 1 email from the Used car sales manager Taufiq, but it was vague and he didn't follow up. FINALLY I got a call from a service person (Rick) who told me they have new tires for me, so now I get to drive the 150km back to the dealership to get their mistake corrected. Honda's are great cars! Do yourself and find a great dealership! More
Terrible Financial Manager - Jack if you are planning to buy a vehicle from Markham Honda and happened to have a financial manager named Jack, i strongly recommend you go over your off if you are planning to buy a vehicle from Markham Honda and happened to have a financial manager named Jack, i strongly recommend you go over your offer extremely carefully, saying line by line. this guy tries to skip over the offer extremely quick and not explaining the line items with the customer but telling them to sign here and there. i tried to call this guy several times to get things clear up but without succeed. so if you are planning to buy a Honda, Markham Honda is NOT the right place to go to. don't let their fake smiles and sweet talks get you into regrets. Almost cheated by the finance manager and poor service My family and I was almost cheated by the finance manager, Lxxx, and received extremely poor service from the service department at Markham Honda on J My family and I was almost cheated by the finance manager, Lxxx, and received extremely poor service from the service department at Markham Honda on June 9th 2018. We had agreed upon a 4.99% interest rate over 5 years on a 2016 Corolla. However, when signing the final papers the following day I noticed it was changed to 5.99% and no one notified me about the change. When confronting the finance manager, Lxxx, he made up a xx excuse and we knew immediately he was trying to get as much money as he could with us due to the fact that we opted out of the ridiculously over priced warranty. We had Lxxx change it back immediately to what it was originally discussed. Nonetheless, we wanted to be content when buying a car and put it aside. That clearly could not have happened after what resulted afterwrds. After this we were handed the keys to the car. The sales rep proceeded to go inside before we took a look around the car. The interior of the car was in POOR condition with dirt stains covering the seats and center armrest. The sales rep promised to have it vacuumed and detailed (like any dealership would). The car had THREE scratches on the passenger side door, a scratch covered up poorly with a paint stick on the passenger mirror, a bolt MISSING from the rear licence plate so it was hanging, and the seats and center armrest WERE NOT cleaned AT ALL. When questioning the sales rep about the condition of the car he initially stated it had been vacuumed and detailed properly. Although, one of the service members was brought outside afterwards and had said they had fired the person responsible for these duties and did not have the equipment to complete these jobs. Are you serious.. Really embarrassing towards Markham Honda, Honda Motor Company and its owner, Dilawri. I would really like an explanation and resolution for this. More
