I took quotes on 2016 Accord from Hamilton to Ajax and they convinced me to beat all the quotes and had me drove 100kms and it turned out that they were the most expensive among all the GTA dealerships. Customer Services is very poor. During the entire conversation, manager did not even bother to show his face and discuss the matter with us. There was no sorry or apology from anyone in the dealership. It was apparent that they were not interested to seal the deal while other dealerships were desperate to win my business. It seems like they have enough business and they expect the customers to beg them to sell their cars. More

Told me a certain feature was only available in the American version. It was not true. The dealership then followed up and asked me to rate the sales rep. I just said excellent. He was a young guy and I thought I'd give him a break since anything less than excellent was supposed to be a performance review. Honda should be asking more specific questions such as how did the sales rep reply to your questions. My service experience has been poor. Imagine a service department in which you walk in to no greetings at all whatsoever even when there are advisors sitting there. They do not acknowledge you. Customers who are standing there are obviously waiting for an advisor but, nope, you are still not acknowledged. One has to walk up to the advisor and then you might be told he's already helping someone else. It's incredible how this attitude prevails in the four years that I've been there. We put up with it because we are only there once in while. I'm actually looking at American cars now. My experience with their service has been amazing. The problem with Markham Honda's service department is management. Honda needs to institute a feedback system at this location to get some real idea of what's happening. I even witnessed a customer arguing with an advisor who he thought was scamming him with unnecessary costs. More
Worst Sales Person and Sales Experience at Markham Honda!! My wife and I were in the market for a new mid size sedan and the Honda Accord was at the top of our list. We visited Markham Honda on a Saturday since it's closest to home. A sales person by the name of Pervez Gauhar approached us within a minute of entering the dealership. I didn't mind this and told him that I was looking to test drive an Accord Touring V6 model. He said that he didn't have any and we would come back on Monday and he would have it. I asked him about a Black Touring V6 that was in their parking lot. He said that it was available for test drives. Needless to say we were very excited about the test drive and arrived at the pre-arranged time on Monday. The first indication that this sales person and dealership were not where we should spend our money when Pervez told us the route to follow on our test drive. It basically consisted of 4 right turns and made such that we would be back in 10 minutes. I jokingly asked him why it was all right turns and he simply replied that it was like this according to their policy. Fair enough. The second indication came when the car he took us out to was the Black Touring V6 that I has asked about on Saturday. He simply gave me the keys and walked away. No walk around the car, no product knowledge transfer, nothing. He couldn't even be bothered to back it out from the tight parking spot it was in. My wife wanted to see what the trunk was like and when we opened it, we found quite literally a pile of clothes and shoes inside it. It was like someone was using this car at the dealership and this was their closet! Inside was just as bad. Prescription medication bottles and food napkins, and more clothes. The entire dash was covered in dust and my wife refused to get inside. I somehow convinced her that we should just do the test drive and leave since we were there already. The car itself was fine and our 4 right turn test drive took no more then 10 minutes. Great way to get to know a $40,000 car!! We returned the key to Pervez who could not even be bothered to ask how the car or the drive was. His arrogance was such that when we told him of how dirty the car was and how it was filled with someone's clothes, he responded "why do you care, what matters is how are you going to keep the car". We were shocked that a salesperson would have the audacity to question how we would take care of something, leave aside any hint of an apology. Thanks to Pervez Gauhar and Markham Honda, we are quite turned off by the Honda Brand and will gladly be buying from another brand where the customer is treated with some respect. More
WORST DEALERSHIP EVER This dealership is truly horrible. Consistently awful service by incompetent people. I discovered that there was a recall on my car by watching the news. Markham Honda failed to notify me. It was a very dangerous one, too - exploding airbag. Would have been nice of them to let me know. After months of waiting for the part to arrive, I finally booked an appointment and made a trip into Markham to drop my car off. After a couple of hours, they called me to say that the part was on back order. No apology at all. I called a guy named Syed to ask why they didn't check on the availability of the part before allowing me to come in. Again, no apology. He just reiterated that the part was on backorder. I asked him what he was going to do to make this up to me, given that my wife and I both own Hondas, and we'd been loyal customers for many years, and he actually said "nothing". The guy could not possibly have been worse at his job More
