I want to express my appreciation for taking the time to rate us on Dealer Rater. This site is an integral part of our business. It allows us the opportunity to gather vital information from our valued customers, so that we can polish our strengths and focus on our shortcomings. It was our pleasure to accommodate you for your service; we realize that it is not always possible to schedule service appointments and we will always do our best to accommodate our customer’s busy schedules. I agree that $200.00 is a bit high for an “oil change”, however the service performed on you vehicle was far more involved then your standard oil change. According to the manufacturer's maintenance schedule, we had performed your annual “B” service which in addition to changing your vehicles engine oil, our technicians also completed a extensive multi-point inspection, tested all your vehicles vital fluids and tested your battery. However, most importantly, we inspected and serviced your brakes, removing your calipers to service and clean then, lubricate the slider pins and deglaze the rotors. This was done for both the front and rear brakes, as well as servicing the park brake system. The tires were also inspected, pressures properly adjusted and rotated. So as you can see, your money was well invested for your safety and the longevity of your vehicle. I thank you for your business and time. I look forward to meeting you at your next service. Thanks to Tony Locche for responding to my posting. However, after reviewing his response and my comments I reviewed the maintenance history. The tire rotation and brake inspection IS a valued service, no question. I don't drive this vehicle very often so I'm not on top of its service history. The car is driven <5,000 km a year and when this service was recommended I believed it was suggested after the service rep reviewed your records of my wife's car. When I returned home I checked and found that the very same service had been performed the previous year. I felt that this second time was unnecessary and obviously I can't put too much trust in your system's record keeping..
