Lack of diagnostic of car, complaint for hydraulic issue - Asif Sadruddin
Lack of diagnostic of car, complaint for hydraulic issue (cylinder within warranty), they checked brake, rotor, and caliper. The comments were because I changed the pads from the outside, which is not working with the Rotor (complete nonsense). The Calipher was leaking and they are willing to replace it as the car is under warranty, however, no parts were available in the parts section, they have to order it and the parts will come after one week. They charged me diagnostic fees. I replace the Calipher from outside in one day. The hydraulic problem didn't resolved. I went again with my mechanic and explained on Saturday, they gave me an appointment for Monday. I dropped the car and this time they took the drive and finally found the issue, I was correct, it was a Cylinder issue, kept the car for 2 days due to parts coming from Vancouver. Now, I am asking for a refund of the diagnostic fees they charged me for an incomplete diagnostic. The receptionist wrote an email to the service manager who was supposed to contact me, but unfortunately no response from Bessada Kia.
My car went 2 times in 6 months, one for the water pump and the second for the master cylinder, both under warranty. The question: Is KIA a reliable car? within 3 years Water pump, caliper, and master cylinder were replaced, due to poor-quality parts.
