Dealership is all shiny & new. After just arriving on the lot, we saw Jag come running out the side door towards us. Now this guy is working outside the box. Instead of standing inside the front doors (like many others) he went around the other sales people to approach us. Jag was friendly and professional. When he spoke with us he looked us in the eyes. Being new, he didn't know everything but he sure knew where to get us an answer. Jag followed up with us the morning after we had been on site. He worked very hard to get us what we wanted for the price we could afford. Jag is to be commended for his excellent customer service and being a personable and hard working young man. Jag has made us clients for life.

We find her to be very professional, courteous, helpful and kind! She oversees the service completed on our vehicles and is the utmost caring person we have ever had the pleasure of being associated with. We trust her explicitly and respect her tremendously! We also appreciate the sound advice provided. What a wonderful person she is! The persons that physically work on our vehicles are respected by us as well and we have all good things to say about Ron Hodgson Service Bay! I've been doing business with the Wolfe family dealership for a long time and over the years every aspect as been sensational. However, in more recent times visiting the service department has been a little underwhelming, to make it clear, the people I've dealt with have been amazing but the practices have me questioning if I'll buy another vehicle here. I used to be able to work things out so that my service repair bill was kept at a minimum and always felt a peace of mind about my visit. Now, it's quite apparent that profit comes first, had my car in for a repair that required diagnosis, the intial diagnosis went fine but more diagnosis was required and their plan included multiple hours of diagnosing which I thought was unnecassary, did a bit of looking/researching to discover the reason my car was doing what it was doing, was a common issue with this car and the technicians should have had a GM list of common issues to check first but they didn't, I required a part which I was promised to be 4-6 days, 10 days later I had to call the service department to get this going to completion. In previous days, I would have been charged labor according to what was used, so for example if it only took 3 hours, I will billed for 3 hours, but on this visit I was charged book time for aspect of the repair which inflated the bill by a large sum. I also noted the parts they used and most parts were above GM Parts Canada retail prices. Air filters, for example, they want $80 for air filter and $80 for a cabin air filter, on GM parts website, the normal MSRP was about $40 for both but they were also on sale, so they are not passing the saving onto their customers. It's my understanding the service manager has changed recently, perhaps this is what's behind this practice. But because of this, I went from certain to buying a vehicle from them to at most 50/50. Everything else is still quite exceptional, very clean and open space to wait for your vehicle or shop for one, people are kind and courteous, it's just this latest change in business practice that I can only give them a mediocre score of 3 stars, I've also observed the change in others' reviews after the 2023 awards have had more less favorable reviews.

Well I wish I could say something positive... but shop local, support local screwed us with this particular business. My boyfriend took his truck in because the gas tank takes a half an hour to fill due to the gas pump clicking off CONSTANTLY as if it were full. Who wants to stand out in -30°C pumping gas for 30 minutes, right? So call Westlock Motors, service department tell him sure, we'll look at, they run a diagnostic, explain what's wrong and a quote to fix the problem, $800! So boyfriend says yes, fix it (his truck is pretty well his job). So almost 4 hours later he gets his truck back expecting that 4 hours and $800 later that its fixed. So he goes to fill it up... nope, not fixed, can't fill it. Not sure why the service consultant would not have checked to see if the problem had been resolved before returning it and charging my boyfriend for 'fixing' the problem. Call the dealer to see what had happened and what could be done to resolve the problem, speak with the manager and he tells us that if we bring it back in they will run a free diagnostic... hmmm so what is the new diagnostic going to say that the last one didn't? How much is it going to cost to fix the new problem since the last $800 didn't fix it..... why would we bring it back? We are feeling completely scammed by this dealership and all they want to say is bring it back in and we'll look at it again? If you didnt catch the problem the first time in the 4 hours you had it, why would we trust that it would be fixed this time? Are we stupid or something? Worst service experience we've had anywhere.

I highly recommend Scougall Motors. From the moment we entered the dealership everyone was so welcoming and so friendly. The service manager was just fantastic dealing with our 2016 Buick Encore engine light problem we encountered on our journey back home to BC. They got us in first thing and we were back on the road by 2:30 that afternoon. Adrian in parts was just super. I can’t say enough good things about the staff and management. They truly make you feel like you are in good hands.

We kind of have a mixed review. When we bought our Equinox, Michelle was our salesperson and she's the best hands down. Where do I start, first itt wasn't detailed as I pulled cheerios from under back seat, then b4 we even left with vehicle it read 2 tire sensors not working. Guys told Michelle, yes fixed. But nope not true as we had to have them replaced when we had to have. 4 new tires put on as I guess the ones on were wrong size. Then worst part the paint began to peel in sporadic spots on front of vehicle and one strange spot on driver's door. Well when we were in shop today , we found out car had been painted b4 and to have fixed WE would have to pay !! The n we asked for trade in value and were quoted over 8000 less then cost with new tires. It was a 2018 equinox and I mean even if we were offered a trade for another 2018 would have made us some happier. We have bought. 6 vehicles here, but not again. BUT I DO MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMEND MICHELLE AS YOUR SALES LADY TO DEAL WITH. Very unfortunate as it felt like they were trying to hold us responsible for the wrong doings.
