I bought my truck at this dealership for service always as I bought my truck there. So thus the sense of loyalty. However I am a bit frustrated about the length of time it takes to do what may be considere as I bought my truck there. So thus the sense of loyalty. However I am a bit frustrated about the length of time it takes to do what may be considered a simple service. (ie) oil change, tire rotation and a cabin air filter change. The distance? Well I live is across town to the dealership. I bring the truck in as the dealership opens or a half hour after it opens all the time. Through my booking I’m ask if I can leave the vehicle. Which I always say yes. The service I consider simple (maybe I’m wrong) should not take all day. Inevitably the truck gets done just before closing, then it’s a mad scramble to pick me up when the service department finds out I need a lift to pick up my vehicle just in time for rush hour across town. Understand the service isn’t the issue, it is always top quality. The issue is booking the time, and the length of the service. I never expect to pick up my truck before noon. Which would be 5 hours in the dealerships possession to do the job. When I received the call that they would not be able to get to my truck and if I could leave it for the weekend or just drive it back the following Monday. I was extremely unhappy. I let the service tech know that and before I knew it the truck was done around 5pm. I didn’t pick up the text until 20 minutes later. So no phone call. Mad rush to get me to the dealership again so that I could have my truck for the weekend. I’m having second thoughts about bringing my truck in not because the service maintenance is bad. But it’s about being fit in and getting a minor job done at the last minute. I appreciate the dealership has issues that have to tend with and stuff happens. But I to have stuffing happening in my busy life and I dislike being at the whim of the dealership as being fitted in and if they got time. What’s is the point of making a booking then? Anyways it’s not world ending, but gees I have to be made a priority if I book for same day service and not just be finished at the end of day as I feel like I’m just being squeezed in at the end of the day.
