Poor customer service, and low quality product We've had a horrible experience at this dealership and with our truck. Bought a 2016 F150 in September and there have been problems since day 1. It's been in for service 4 times, issue still isn't resolved, now they say the issue doesn't exist, even though the mechanics admitted it does. The dealership also dented our tailgate; not only did they not tell us, they didn't even apologize when we told them. They didn't replace the tailgate, they 'fixed' the dent, however it is still noticeable. To make matters worse, our check engine light has been on twice in the last 4 weeks. The first time because something was 'frozen inside'. Its winter, in Canada!! We haven't taken it in yet to get it checked for a second time as we dread going in there.. We've made complaints to Ford of Canada and after 3 mos, we are still trying to get this resolved. So not happy. Would think spending $40,000 on a brand new truck would be a positive and fun experience, but it has been horrible Will NEVER return to this dealership and will probably never buy a Ford again. More
LLLLOOOONNNNGGGGG waiting time, cheating I bought a set of winter tires there and they installed a cheaper set for me. Smaller rims, smaller dimensions etc. They put the dirty bags on the car seats so that I could do some exercise cleaning the seats myself. I had to bring the car in again because they "made a mistake". Waiting time on both days were excruciatingly long. The first time was a whole day and the second time was 3 hours. They kept telling me that it would take another 45 minutes ......... I wonder if they had a sense of time there. NEVER GO THERE FOR SERVICE!!!!!!!! More

Worst service department Firstly calling the dealership is a task,after ringing forever you get the voice mailbox and they never call back....so I called four time to get a hu Firstly calling the dealership is a task,after ringing forever you get the voice mailbox and they never call back....so I called four time to get a human voice who transfered me to service so I could book an appointment.. After 6 rings I get the voice mailbox and leave a message to book an appointment. 4 days pass and no call. I called again a finally reach service and book my appointment for the following week at 9:00am The day come around and I arrive at 8:55am and park the trick up front in the main driveway lot and go in to register. I'm told it will take 2 hrs. Which is long for an oil change but I'm here now and the service is free as part of the purchase package. I also ask to reset the sender units in the wheels as they are not set to the vehicle and keep registering trouble on the computer. I'm told they charge 50$ for that, which my tire dealer does for free because it take a minute as I've seen it done several times before. 2.5 hrs later I inquire about my truck and the receptionist tells me my truck is blocked in and they haven't started the service. I look out to where I parked it and it's not there. She is baffled and then tells me it just got in and they're working on it. 25 minutes later she comes out to tell me my truck is ready but it's blocked in and they are trying to find the owner of the vehicle blocking my truck. It's now 12:10 and still no truck .Really. Tha To how they do business here at Yonge Steele's Ford. If you buy a vehicle here have then take the price of the free 2 year oil change off the purchase price or my advice don't buy a vehicle here and go to a reputable Ford dealership. Today's oil change (using one of the complimentary oil change coupons we received when we purchased the car) took 3 - 1/2 hours for us to get out the door. We got a courtesy shuttle ride to an appointment after we dropped off the car at 9:00 a.m. We were expecting a call from the dealer when the oil change was complete but that call never came. We called for the shuttle at 11:00 and by 11:30 we were back at the dealer. Our oil change was complete, but our car, which was in their parking lot, was blocked by another car. It took them another hour to find the keys to this other car so that we could get our car. It seems that every visit to this dealership is &*^*%&^^$*&!!!!!! In previous oil change at this dealer, an excess amount of oil was placed into the engine. We found that out at the next oil change which was done at Walmart. The Walmart technician was surprised at the amount of oil draining from the engine and told us there appeared to be about 1 liter too much. Another time, the vehicle inspection sheet provided when an oil change was done indicated that everything was well with the vehicle and no item needed servicing. We subsequently went on a rather long road trip during which we noticed that the gas mileage was quite poor. It had been a year since I had changed the air filter and decided to take a look. It was clogged with dirt and debris. I can only conclude that no inspection was done at the time of the oil change and all items on the vehicle inspection sheet were just ticked off as being in good shape. I wish we could post photos of the air filter here. We asked for a meeting with the general manager of the dealership (the guy who appears in their newspaper print ads). After many phone calls to the dealership a meeting was eventually arranged. During the meeting we showed him the air filter and upon seeing it, he got agitated and started berating us for only using the complimentary oil change coupons and having no other services performed (shop rate $120 / hour) at the dealership. When we told him our mechanic works for a lot less he kicked us out of his office! This afternoon we received a phone call from the customer service manager. When we described today's difficulties she offered a sympathetic ear promised to investigate. More

The sales manager was quite unfriendly too, with an interrogative, talking-down attitude. I will never set foot in this dealership again. More

I advised him I was coming from 2 hours away, he assured me it would be worth my while so I made an appointment with him for the next day. When I arrived the following day he was not in so I had to go through everything again with an Assistant and then again with Rahuls father ( owner of dealership) only to be told heated seats were not available on the truck I wanted - despite his son telling me it was. Very frustrating. Rahul called me 3 days later and asked if I'd made a decision about a truck. I told him the only decision was that I wouldn't ever deal with his dealership again. He then swore at me and hung up. I guess being the Owners son is one way to keep your job despite being unthruthful and disrespectful!! More

Service Advisors and the mechanics are in alliance for whats best for thier pockets and not your interest as the client. They will 'up sell' you, using 'fear tactics' of your warranty being void if certain repairs are not done by them. Even on internal recalls, they will never inform you and would actually try and make you pay for it! Buy here and service somewhere else, don't be drawn in by free oil change. They will make you pay one way or ther other for the 'free oil'!!! More
