Terrible customer service. All throughout my entire visit at Volkswagen Villa, I constantly witnessed more than 60% of the sales staff literally standing around chit chatting instead of helping customers. Th at Volkswagen Villa, I constantly witnessed more than 60% of the sales staff literally standing around chit chatting instead of helping customers. They acted like immature high school kids laughing and gossiping loudly in full plain view of customers, including me. I had to wait 10 minutes before being greeted by a sales person who would be interested in showing me a car. In addition, the sales managers were obnoxious, rude and inconsiderate and assigned their most rookie sales person to serve me. The sales person was ok, but it was very clear he had no idea what he was doing. Every five minutes, he would have to leave me alone and consult his managers whenever I asked a mundane question. Aside from customer service, the cars on the lot were ALL BROKEN DOWN! What kind of a dealership places dysfunctional cars on display? The first used car I test drove had SERIOUS engine problems. In fact, the red engine problem icon lit up and there was violent jerking. The problem got so bad we had to turn around halfway through the test drive and return to the dealership. The second used car had a flat tire. The third used car had terrible steering and braking problems that I did not feel safe continuing the test drive. Three cars on display in the lot in a row that were in disrepair! What are the service staff doing if the sales team is busy gossiping and telling jokes to each other? Completely unacceptable. Finally, when I told the sales person that I wanted to leave, because I was not happy about the poor condition of their vehicles, the sales manager urged him to get an offer out of me. Now they want me to buy a broken car? I thought Volkswagen cars were quality vehicles, but after that nightmare experience, I am not so sure anymore. I will never return to Volkswagen Villa and I will never recommend this dealership to my friends. More

Seriously disappointing customer service. I wouldn't recommend Volkswagen Villa to anyone and will go out of my way to avoid going there for service on my car. I bought a pre-owned Volkswagen from Jeffery Tung at Volkswagen Villa, and the sale went without a hitch. Jeffery was honest, respectful, not aggressive, and fair, in my opinion. This time, they wanted to charge $60 and refused to explain why I was being charged 0.5 hours of labour for 1 minute's worth of work, and service rep dodged answering my question of why other companies like Honda and Subaru would provide codes for free. Went to Yorkdale VW instead, got the proper code in 5 minutes, no hassle. It's not like it's the first time they've ripped us off, either. "Accidental" price misprints in their favour, amongst other incidents abound when we bought our Jetta in 2005. Take your business to Yorkdale VW, Richmond Hill VW, Pfaff Motors, anywhere but here. It'll be worth the extra drive not to deal with these people. More
