Since I keep meticulous records of service on any vehicle I own, I asked for and received all the service records for the vehicle for the period before I owned the vehicle. I took the vehicle in for two recalls. The staff were very friendly and the vehicle was ready when they said it would be. The only issue I had when I picked it up was that the outside temperature now showed Fahrenheit, not Celsius as it was when I took it in. I had to look up in the manual to change it back to the proper temperature. More

Service appointment for recall and oil change was efficient. Service were pleasant and arranged a shuttle ride back and forth from dealer. However, they use Uber as their shuttle service and I was efficient. Service were pleasant and arranged a shuttle ride back and forth from dealer. However, they use Uber as their shuttle service and I was uncomfortable with one of the drivers as he was not familiar with the surrounding area and he could not understand English when I gave him verbal directions. I would have preferred a dedicated shuttle driver from the dealer as they would be familiar with the roads within the shuttle boundaries. More

The VO Service and Operations Richard V is more interested in sharing with you how he has turned the service department into a more profitable department and charges for recall service etc. Totally out to lunch in not committing to getting your car repaired and serviced properly for service rather he prefers to talk about himself Some advise don’t tell him you aren’t returning for service after you paid your bill that he will overcharge because he will also deny you a courtesy shuttle/ ride because he is very malicious person If you have other options to have your car serviced they are much better options than Thornhill Hyundai thanks to Richard V and his team . Jonathan was my original sales rep and he was a great dude to work with. For service I've had Clinton and Davis primarily. Again nothing to say here, service is completed pretty much as expected. I come in every 6,000km for oil changes and whatever scheduled maintenance is needed and it really is a painless experience. Other things to note, they have a decent sized waiting room with limited seating. Good wifi and and great coffee for a dealership. I'm also a fan of the club beats I often hear in the showroom. More
