I bought a 2025 Tucson Hybrid from torhnill Hyundai. I really liked the car when I first bought it. After 3 months, it started having electronic malfunctions. Every time I took it in, they said they replaced a part. The screen disappears due to a small shake while the car is in motion. Sometimes it doesn't come back on for a long time, or it comes back on and off. They couldn't fix this problem. I'm tired of going back and forth to the service center. They'll replace a part again. I don't think this will work. The result won't change. More
I have visited Thornhill Hyundai a few times now and the service has been really great and always above my expectations. I went in for Coolant replacement, Brake service, Tire rotation and alignment. Everything was taken care very well and I was given thorough explanation why those were necessary to be performed. I have always felt the advice given by Wilson is genuine as I was able to check information on Google as well get opinions at other local garage centers and it never did differ. I never once felt that this Hyundai location tried to rip me off and upsell me parts or service. I will hence highly recommend the technician team at Thornhill Hyundai to care for the car and surely Wilson to help with all our support needs with proper guidance and overall information about required service to keep the car in a very good functioning condition. Sales Manager Sayed gaslit me, claiming we negotiated the price "on the website" (makes no sense), then got defensive when I mentioned OMVIC — even asking me, “Are you threatening me?” He later confirmed via email on May 13 that I’d get a refund — but 6+ follow-up attempts (calls & emails to both Sayed and GM Bradley) have been ignored. Friendly before the sale, completely unprofessional after. I’m now disputing the charge through my credit card and exploring a formal complaint. Be very careful. More
Visited Thornhill Hyundai for my second oil change and both time after the oil change I have oil leaks which has destroyed my drive way with oil stains. Now I am wondering how true is it when they can’t even do a oil change properly I don’t know weather it is the genuine part or trained technicians at fault. More

After researching online, I discovered that my situation fell under a recall. Based on this information, I visited Hyundai Thornhill’s service center and explained the issue. The employee I spoke with, Wilson Chan, confirmed that my case qualified for the recall. However, he stated that their specialists needed to conduct a diagnostic inspection to verify the problem, despite the fact that my own mechanic had already diagnosed a seized engine. Wilson informed me that the diagnostic service would cost $550 (including tax). I agreed and scheduled an appointment for March 4. I brought my vehicle in that day, paid the fee, and left my car for inspection. After about 20 days, Wilson contacted me and informed me that Hyundai Canada had denied the recall claim solely because my vehicle was over 10 years old. This means the diagnostic fee of $550 and the $150 I paid for towing to Hyundai Thornhill were completely wasted. Wilson and the dealership knowingly misled me. They were fully aware that my vehicle was ineligible for the recall but still insisted on the diagnostic, leading me to spend money for nothing. They deliberately took my money while knowing the outcome in advance. When I requested a full refund, they initially refused. Only after I mentioned that I would leave reviews on social media and Google did they suddenly agree to refund two-thirds of the amount ($360). However, I paid the full $550 for the diagnostics, plus $150 for towing. Who will compensate me for those costs? Why should I bear the financial burden for their mistake? I want to warn everyone dealing with this dealership—they engage in dishonest practices and will take your money only to later inform you that your claim is denied. Be cautious and make your own conclusions. I suspect—but cannot say with absolute certainty—that this dealership employs dishonest individuals like Wilson Chan, who deceive customers into paying money and then deny the service. More
