Disappointed Very unprofessional!!! Brought my car in for an issue i had. Dropped my car of at 8:30 as per my appointment and went to work expecting them to call me when the car was re Brought my car in for an issue i had. Dropped my car of at 8:30 as per my appointment and went to work expecting them to call me when the car was ready (as they usually do). However, i received a call a little after 3:30 saying "the technician has identified the problem AND IS CURRENTLY WORKING ON IT and will need another hour and half to finish and that the issue is covered under warranty". When i went to pick up my car, after waiting for another 15 minutes the adviser came and gave me some silly excuse saying that the issue will not be covered under warranty and as a result they did not fix my car. Took it to Toronto Hyundai the following day and they fixed it right away. I have had nothing but good experience with their service department, but this was enough to make me take my business elsewhere. The fact that i brought my car there meant i wanted it to be fixed. I didn't care if it was covered by warranty or i would have to pay out of pocket. More

Fortunately I found Thornhill Hyundai and dealt with Irene Song. I found her knowledgeable, patient and most importantly she listened to what my driving needs were. As a result after two visits she found the perfect car for me, a Kia Rio in excellent condition which I just love. Be careful during price negotiation Last Autumn, I bought a Sonata from Amir Dadgar. While we were negotiating the price, he offered me 3 coupons for free oil changes instead of loweri Last Autumn, I bought a Sonata from Amir Dadgar. While we were negotiating the price, he offered me 3 coupons for free oil changes instead of lowering the price further. Before accepting the offer, I asked him if there were any strings attached to the oil change coupons he offered, such as “2 for 1”, or if any purchase necessary to get the free oil change?. He reassured me that it was not the case and the oil changes will be offered for free. However, when I tried to use the oil changes, the service department told me it was a coupon which qualified me for a free oil change after purchasing 4 oil changes. I called and visited the dealership multiple times, but was not able to meet with Amir due to his broken leg. When I called him on his cell, he denied of any mention of the “offer” before (of no strings attached) and just said "I don't remember". More
Service Problem Rectified Immediately Recently I had a problem related to the servicing of my 2009 Sonata. I was very upset and disappointed with my experience with the Service Department. I sent an email with the details of my experience to the Dealership. Later in the evening, I received an email acknowledgment of my complaint with the promise that there would be a follow up. Within a few days Jeff Copan, V.P. / General Manager of Thornhill Hyundai and Richmond Hill Hyundai, called me on the phone. He was very concerned with my issue and wanted to clarify it and rectify the situation. Scott Provost did a thorough examination of my car and covered all the details with Jeff and I. As a result of the actions of both Jeff and Scott, my confidence in the Service Departments in both dealerships has been restored. I did not expect to be treated so well and I have been assured by Jeff that he has taken steps to make sure this situation/problem will not be experienced by future Service Department customers. Thanks again to both Jeff Copan and Scott Provost, you have restored my trust and confidence in the Dealership Service Departments of both Richmond Hill and Thornhill Hyundai. So Far, A Delightful Experience! I've driven my 2014 Hyundai Accent for just over 2,000 km now, mostly on the highway. The vehicle is a delight, which by definition is beating expecta I've driven my 2014 Hyundai Accent for just over 2,000 km now, mostly on the highway. The vehicle is a delight, which by definition is beating expectations. For a small car with a small engine, it delivers adequate power efficiently. Hyundai claims a highway gas mileage of 38 mpg (16 km per liter), but I have consistently witnessed 47.3 mpg (20 km per liter), a full 25% better! Fernando Toro, Sales Executive at Thornhill Hyundai, has been proactively and patiently helpful since the moment I stepped into the dealership and is a big part of the delight. Leslie Dagatan, Financial Services Manager, has also provided very friendly assistance. Of course, I still have to experience their maintenance service to confirm Thornhill Hyundai's overall excellence. Kai More
