Sonia M helped us she was great. Since our 2 purchase from her I feel like We have found our self very good friend that we can trust to come from our future purchases. Possibly Worst Service Department in Canada To begin with I have had my 2013 Santa Fe since new and it has been a great car! Fortunately because it is such a good car it only needed regularly sc To begin with I have had my 2013 Santa Fe since new and it has been a great car! Fortunately because it is such a good car it only needed regularly scheduled maintenance so I didn't have to visit the service department very often but every time I did I was disappointed. The last time I visited Thornhill Hyundai they forgot to retrieve my tires and rims from storage. I also needed a signal light bulb replaced. They performed the scheduled service and told me they would call when the tires were in. After leaving the lot I noticed that the signal light still wasn't working even though I had been charged for the repair. I went home and after several days with no call about my tires I called service. Big aplogies, come in day after tomorrow tires will be here. I also told them that the light bulb hadn't been replaced. Back I went to the dealer for my tires and light bulb. About two hours after leaving the dealer the SA called to say they forgot the lightbulb again! Could I come in tomorrow morning they would take care of me right away. Back we go again. Of course the SA wasn't on shift and I was told that since I had "no appointment " it would be several hours before the bulb could be replaced. I went ballistic but fortunately another SA remembered me from my previous two visits, took my keys from the counter and took my car to the shop immediately and returned in about 10 minutes. Today I had an appointment for 8:30 which I booked over a week ago. When I finally was seen by a SA 33 minutes had passed. I was then informed that they were really busy and it would take "a couple of hours". I asked why they booked appointments if the time of the appointments was irrelevant. The SA kept trying to upsell me on other service even though I said I needed him to just book my car in so I could get going. He then asked if I needed a ride because "the service will take a LONG time". I reminded him that he just told me that it would be two hours ro which he replied "I said a couple of hours". Over three hours later I went to see how much longer my car would be. Miraculously it was ready! When i got the bill i had been charged for tire storage that I had NOT requested. 15 minutes later I got my car. Fortunately for me this is the LAST TIME that I will have to put up with Thornhill Hyundai's rude and inefficient Service Department. I really like the Hyundai Kona but because there is no way I was going to face another 6 years of poor service I bought a 2019 fully loaded Subaru Crosstrek last week!!!!! More
Service is very poor........ I received notification of a recall on my Santa Fe and booked an appointment to have the work done the following week. I dropped the car of at my scheduled appointment time (9am) Monday and was told the work would take a few hours. At 6pm we were advised the part they put in was defective and they had ordered the replacement part and to call the next morning. After talking with the Service Advisor he said the car would likely be ready early afternoon. After many calls with no call backs we finally got through to a service person very late in the afternoon to find no part had been delivered today and it would be tomorrow. After getting the run-around we finally got through to the service manager at 4pm who has promised to look into the situation. Still no call back from him or a Service Advisor with a update. Now we are at the end of our second day without a car all for a "Hyundai recall" that was to be handled in just a few hours. And, to make matters worse we have an appointment tomorrow from 11am that will take the rest of the day. 3 days without a car and a sense that the Service Department doesn't care. More

Called the next day and after getting hung up on twice and tasnfered to vmails finally got someone on the line who said sorry we can’t find the part so we need to keep it for another day. Your the dealership what do you mean it takes 3 days to change breakpads? Terrible service no wonder they are rated 1 star on yelp! More
