My visit was in response to the latest Chrysler promotion involving demo of new models and rewards from a "Wheel of Fortune". contest. I was served by Decio Menezes and Chris Simard. I am interested in the new Patriot, but since none was available I did my demo drive in a Compass. I was impressed by the performance and improvements over my current 2007 Patriot. In the past I have been hugely impressed by the overall outstanding performance of all concerned at Southbank. This is a dealer that is far beyond the norm for Chrysler and its competitors in the Ottawa area. I formed this opinion when I bought my Patriot in 2007 and I passed it on to the CEO of Chrysler Canada. My opinion was reinforced even though I was a victim of the '07 Patriot proving the point that one ought never to buy and automobile in its initial year of production. In this case the ball joints and tie-rod ends crap out at approx 30,000 miles. Although Chrysler would not compensate me for this at the time, later when I was dealing with Southbank manager, Mr. Guy Parker, on another matter as a goodwill gestgure he provided some credits towards future repairs and service for other items and I appreciated this. And it reinforced my positive opinion of dealing with an outstanding operation -- which in the end is all about outstanding people. And again, I compliment Messrs. Menezes and Simard for their work with me today. More
I was shopping around for a truck and ended up at south bank on a sunday afternoon, I was meet and greated by gus , he was extremely helpful , was not pushy like other dealers ,just great service like you bank on a sunday afternoon, I was meet and greated by gus , he was extremely helpful , was not pushy like other dealers ,just great service like you were an old friend from the past , as for the deal! well I wasn't going to buy till march or april , I was shopping around to get a feel for the best price and value,as gus said he would get me a smoking deal. im driving my new ram and love it, go see gus he is awesome and will work for you More
We came to Southbank after having been to another local Dodge/Chrysler dealership and had had a bad experience. If we knew of the service we were going to receive at Southbank before hand we would have go Dodge/Chrysler dealership and had had a bad experience. If we knew of the service we were going to receive at Southbank before hand we would have gone there first without question. Gustavo(Mister Gus) was amazing, hands down. We have never received better and friendlier service anywhere for anything. He is the reason why this has been the most pleasant sales experience we've ever had. We wouldn't think twice about going back for a future vehicle, service or referring our friends and families. He went above and beyond our expectations. More
Very friendly and helpful staff. They went out of their way to bring in a vehicle that met my criteria very quickly which was greatly appreciated. When I picked up the new vehicle I found out a sw update on the system needed to be done, this should have been checked before the vehicle was picked up. I would have also liked to know about the extended warrantee and protection package pricing and details prior to buying the car. The additional costs where not foreseen. More

We purchased during a really great sales event this month @ Southbank Dodge. We purchased our first Avenger with Brandon Dallaire 4 years ago and traded in this week with Khalid Hanhan. Brandon 4 years ago and Khalid this week were absolutely wonderful. Our entire experience, once again, was above and beyond the service expectations at any dealership. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a vehicle, whether new or used to check out Southbank Dodge as your first stop. You won't be disappointed. More
Where to start..! Everything about our experience with Southbank was phenomenal and we have Derek to thank for that! Our initial greeting with Derek was not only professional, but he was able to connect with us on a personal level almost immediately! He was very knowledgeable in explaining all the bells & whistles of the truck, and was extremely enthusiastic, which is hard not to love! We will always remember Derek for making this experience so flawless & stress free. There is no doubt that we will recommend Southbank time & time again, to everyone! Can't wait to deal with Derek & Southbank again in the future for our next purchase!! More
We came in a little over a week ago at closing time. Merv took the time to show us the Caravan, as we were having a few debates over its size and if it was appropriate for our family's needs! He suggested that we come back in for a test drive and after rescheduling on him we did show up for our second appointment. Unfortunately and to our surprise the managers sent us to Charles. I did show my disappointment towards this and made it clear we had an appointment. Charles was just not a fit for us and we were rather frustrated that we were sent to someone else when we were already comfortable with Merv. After crossing paths with Merv during the initial test drive process, I made it clear we would be happier going over our appointment with Merv, and we were happy to be re-directed back to him. Although at this point we were still "looking" at our options, my spouse was set on the "mom mobile"! The whole process was a little longer then expect (Financing aspect), particularly with a 3 year old in tow, but she enjoyed watching some shows on her Ipad, sitting in the vans tailgate seats! After a few negotiations' and sometime spent with the financial aspects of our purchase we became the new owners of a 30th edition caravan! We look forward to the next decade with our van and all the bells and whistles it has for our enjoyment. Thanks Merv for being honest, trust worthy and very customer service oriented, truly quality that helped us finalise our sale as fast as we had! More
