Bought a Dodge Challenger and Love It! I have never bought a car before, and going into a dealership, I had an I idea as to what to expect after what my father had told me about his past ex I have never bought a car before, and going into a dealership, I had an I idea as to what to expect after what my father had told me about his past experience with car dealerships. I had taken a test drive in the car with him in the back. As we toured, he gave insightful details about the car with confidence and I felt comfortable asking him any question or concern that I had. After I left that day, I had not purchased it, but did place an offer on it. Later that week I received a call saying that it had been purchased. I was later made aware that it had not been sold and was back on the market again. I thought it was fate, and Gus agreed. He sat down with us and explained the next steps as we had finally reached a deal. Since buying it, I purchased an extra layer of wax and a replacement of a decal as it had been chipped a little. I had been told that it would only take about three days until Southbank realized they didn't have the decal and to specially order it. I didn't receive a phone call from anyone until three weeks later. I had called Gus, and he told me to give him one hour. I waited exactly one hour and there Gus was, telling me that I could bring in my car the next day so they can put the decals and the wax on. I was extremely happy from Gus's persistence in regards to the rush order of my decals and the wax. He has also been calling to make sure I still have not changed my endless affection for my wonderful car. I appreciate all of the things he has done, and all of the kinks he has had to smooth out along the way. When I see others looking to buy a new/used car, I will undoubtedly recommend not only Southbank Dodge, but specifically Gus. I had previously done my research on several vehicles prior to coming to Southbank Dodge. Everything that Gus explained to us was right on the money. When we seen a truck that we really liked, Gus informed us of the price and I felt it was too expensive. To make a long story short, Gus managed to get us enough rebates that we decided to purchase the vehicle that night. It turned out to be a great truck buying experience. I would recommend Southbank to my friends for there own purchases and tell them to ask for Gus. We usually buy a new vehicle every 8-10 years. I hope that when we go back that Gus will be there or that he will have trained someone like himself. More
