Best Buying Experience in Years I usually don't like to negotiate a car at a dealership. There's too much wasted time and it's usually a big hassle. I do my own research and, once I usually don't like to negotiate a car at a dealership. There's too much wasted time and it's usually a big hassle. I do my own research and, once decided on a vehicle, I prefer to use a broker to smooth out the buying process. So, on that day, we walked into the dealership with the intention of just test driving a potential vehicle before making a final decision. We were immediately greeted by Prince who was very professional and friendly. He took us for test drive of a Jeep GC, showed us all of it's features and answered all our questions. Never did I felt presured into buying but I did let them evaluate my current vehicle enven though I intended to sell it privately. To my surprise, the numbers they provided, for both the trade-in and the new vehicle, met my expectatons and we quickly aggred to terms. It couldn't have been more pleasantly surprise by the quick and pain free negotiations. I will glady recommend Southbank to other potental customers and will return there for my maintenance needs. Stress free experience Years ago I worked at a dealership, that expeierence makes me dread buying a car. What I witnessed while working at the dealership was a cut throat industry, the atmosphere within the sales staff was every man for himself and make that sale no matter what. Was I wrong in this case. I walked in with a chip on my shoulder and left with a new Jeep and the knowledge that I would be back to Southbank to purchase my next vehicle. I had the pleasure of dealing with Ivan. Never once did I feel pressured to buy. Ivan answered every question I had and I had many. Dealing with Ivan was wonderful, I was not an easy customer but he listened to my concerns and addressed each any every issue I had. In the end he matched my needs to a wonderful vehicle. What shocked me most was how the staff seemed happy and worked together. Prince took us for a test drive and he was very knowledgable about the product. In the finance department I delt with Al, another wonderful experience. When I mentioned I had a preference in financial institutions, he told me they delt with several banks and allowed me to choose the one I preferred. He explained everything in great detail, which was appreciated. In the end I purchased a great vehicle for a fair price. I waited a week before writing this review to have some time with my new Jeep. I love it, I am one happy customer. More
