I never once felt pressured to purchase anything and that was a relief as that would have been the single biggest deterrent for me. He was always quick to reply to emails or texts and worked tirelessly in trying to make sure my needs were met. I have always driven used vehicles and this was my first brand new purchase and I am very satisfied with my experience. More

We never felt rushed while we test drove about four vehicles, before deciding on the first we took out. We would not hesitate is going back to South Bank and asking for Ventura. Dealt initially with Michael Neville on the sales side. Mike took us out to drive 4 different vehicles and was very knowledgeable on the features of all models. As we worked through which vehicle would best suit our family's needs, Mike was very patient and took the time to answer all of our questions and helped to guide us in our purchase, Once we had picked the Patriot, we worked with Bassem in the office to work out the financial side of the purchase. Bassem walked us through all of our options ... discussed warranty and rust-proofing options in a very detailed fashion and was extremely helpful in making sure everything was taken care of so that we could pick up our new car 1 business day later. Would highly recommend Southbank Dodge/Chrysler and the team there. -Tim More
The sales experience was OK but disappointing delivery I recently bought a new 2016 Jeep Cherokee at Southbank Dodge. The salesman, Armando, was very polite and eager to help. We went on a test drive dur I recently bought a new 2016 Jeep Cherokee at Southbank Dodge. The salesman, Armando, was very polite and eager to help. We went on a test drive during which he answered our questions without hesitation. This was the positive part of the experience. Later that day, I went back to negotiate the deal. Armando presented a deal that I was not reeady to accept and he went back and forth to his sales manager with subsequent offers. I wish that the sales manager had taken the time to come and meet me personnally instead. The dealership was not very busy during that visit and a few minutes of his time would have been appreciated. Later that same day, after making the purchase, I was introduced to Mr. Al Algasem. This gentleman is a total professional and explained in detail the various extended guarantee and rust proofing, paint and interior finishing protection options. I decided to buy a package that extended the warranty to a full 5 year along with rust proofing, paint and interior leather protection. This is an expensive package but I was convinced that I made the right decision. I agreed to a delivery of the vehicle 3 days later and asked that the dealership take care of getting new licence plates for me as the plates on my trade-in had deteriorated extensively over the past several years. The day before the delivery, I tried to get confirmation from the dealership that they had received my insurance information from the company that I deal with. Even after two phone calls and a promise by Armando that he would get back to me that day, I did not receive such confirmation until the next day (a Saturday) from Mr. Algasem who apologized because no one got back to me earlier. By then, I would have been too late to contact my insurance company if they had not forwarded the information to Southbank Dodge. When I arrived at the dealership to take delivery of my new vehicle, I was informed that they had not completed the task of getting new licence plates due to a mistake by one of their employees. They put the old licence plate on the new vehicle, apologized and made a vague promise to compensate me. At this point, my disappointment with the after sale service had reached a point where I wanted to take delivery of my vehicle and get out of there. Later the following week, I went to a Service Ontario office and stood in line for almost one hour to get new plates for my new vehicle. All that time, I could see that the service line reserved for dealers was completely free. As a matter of fact, only one person used that line during that hour that I was waiting in line, and he was there for less than 10 minutes. I hope that the service which was promised to be first rate will not disappoint me when I bring my vehicle to servicing as this is part of the extended warranty package that I purchased!! More
