Bizarre and terrible experiences TWICE! A few months ago I dealt with Krystal and was negotiating a deal on an Elantra. She found out I was calling other dealerships to price compare and wi A few months ago I dealt with Krystal and was negotiating a deal on an Elantra. She found out I was calling other dealerships to price compare and wigged out. She called my home and left a crazy message as well as crazy emails. I refused to deal with her further. I was recently contacted by another salesperson who told me Krystal was gone. I stated I was shopping for a vehicle for my son in law and would give them another try. I asked for bottom line pricing and any additional fees on different models. I stated I would be shopping around and got another bizarre response like I was doing something wrong because I was going to price compare. I then finally received an advertisement for an Elantra in my email, not the bottom line pricing and any additional fees they may want to charge me. (With Krystal she tried to charge me a $500 administration fee and a few other bogus charges so I was leary). Kevin, the Internet sales guy showed no initiative and basically let me know that his time was valuable and left me with the impression that I was lucky if he did anything to help me. Every other dealership I contacted was right on it and provided me with numerous options and went above and beyond to get my business. My co-worker just told me that Sherwood Hyundai lost his business because of shady practices a year ago. I don't know how these people are being trained and hopefully not all are like the two I have dealt with. In reading the reviews though it sounds like a company wide problem. All I can say is RUN!! Everyone is very friendly I dealt with Armin Scheewe, who was excellent to deal with. Everyone I talked to was very friendly, and ready to help out. Outstanding I have never received better service at any other dealership than I have here. Not only did I work with two sales (Rosemarie & Ken) staff (as I bought I have never received better service at any other dealership than I have here. Not only did I work with two sales (Rosemarie & Ken) staff (as I bought when the car show was on) they both worked great together to get me the information I needed. The management was amazing as well, they brought in a vehicle just so I could see the colour (Doug & Scott) , taught me (very patiently I may add) how to drive a standard, and worked extremely hard to get what I wanted in the car, as well as my financing worked out (Doug T.). I really felt that I got treated more than fairly and like family. I never felt pressured to buy a vehicle, and any questions I had, even if it was one that was never asked before, they found me the answer. Every time I walk in there for something, everyone asks how I am doing, how I am enjoying the car, and that I am doing awesome with never knowing how to drive a standard before hand. ALL the staff here is above and beyond anywhere else I have been. I cannot thank them enough. More

Courtious, professional and accomodating I brought my 2006 Tiburon Tuscany in a while back for service. I was having issues at highway speeds with vibration and there was a cyclic ticking so I brought my 2006 Tiburon Tuscany in a while back for service. I was having issues at highway speeds with vibration and there was a cyclic ticking sound coming from under the hood. Cat and Joe in service were dynamite! The car took longer than anticipated to get fixed as they ran into a few hiccups along the way. Although I did not agree with everything the mechanic said (mechanics are always trying to up sell you stuff no matter where you go), they only did the work that I told them to do and I had the option to run after market parts which the last dealership we use to use would not even entertain installing after market parts. While my car was in the shop I had to use my wife's van to get to and from work thus leaving her stranded at our house all day with 4 kids. Although the car took a while to get properly fixed, Joe stressed how important it was to him to ensure the car was fixed correctly and to our satisfaction and he even set us up with a brand new Chrysler town and country so the wife could still haul the kids around at absolutely no cost to us. When all was said and done they even brought our car to our house near St Albert and picked up the Town and Country. We used to take our vehicles to Northstar (now Go Auto), but after several bad experiences there, they will never see our vehicles again and Joe and Cat at Sherwood Park Hyundai will be who we call every time in the future. The only reason I have given a 4 star rating is because the mechanic tried to up sell me stuff that I did not need to replace on the car. That will happen any where you take your vehicle. My humble opinion on that is read your owners manuals and buy a service manual for your vehicle and read it to. knowledge is power when it comes an "up sell". Don't know about the sales end of things at this Dealership, but the SERVICE we received was TOP NOTCH! THANKS AGAIN CAT AND JOE! Jay More
