The sales person Loidon was wonderful but the finance department was a nightmare. I don’t think it’s great when you walk out of buying a car feeling like you need to take a shower. An appointment that should have taken 45 minutes was over 2 hours delaying another commitment that we were late for. Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding my recent service visit and the commitments made to me at the time of purchasing my vehicle. When I purchased my 2025 Hyundai Ko concern regarding my recent service visit and the commitments made to me at the time of purchasing my vehicle. When I purchased my 2025 Hyundai Kona, I was clearly informed by the financial advisor that oil changes would be free. However, when I came in for my first service, I was told that the oil change was not included in my plan, which was very surprising and disappointing. Additionally, the service invoice shows a car wash was performed, but my vehicle was not washed at all. This is inaccurate billing and unacceptable. I also attempted to escalate this issue by speaking with the Sales Manager, as the Service Manager was unavailable at the time. Despite being assured that someone would contact me regarding my complaint, more than 24 hours have passed and no one has followed up. This service department is absolutely horrible. I've brought my vehicle in there twice now for issues and instead of fully diagnosing the issue it seems like the only thing they want to do is get m I've brought my vehicle in there twice now for issues and instead of fully diagnosing the issue it seems like the only thing they want to do is get me out of there and charge me a diagnosis fee despite having full warranty. The first time I brought it in it was for the blind spot detection system that always shuts off. Had it back the day after buying it. It happens on the regular in the winter (sporadically in the summer) even after the area has been cleaned. I brought it in for them to diagnose the sensor, there's no code in the system, they found nothing but they just told me to keep the area clean, said they calibrated and cleaned it... charged me $189. Driving home from the appointment it disabled itself again. It shuts off daily right now after being driven for 20km. Just recently brought it in because I've had to add coolant twice over the last couple oil changes as the level was below the low on reservoir. They did a pressure test and said everything is fine. I told them I could smell coolant in the vehicle after it's been running/driven for a while. There is no detail on the work order if they checked the oil to see if it might be a internal leak into the cylinders or a gasket leak, nor did they suggest doing another test to rule those issues out. They didn't ask any questions about a possible leak in the heater core... Just wanted to charge another $189. I took it to another shop and asked if I should be needing to add coolant so often and you guessed it.. No. Vehicles don't consume coolant. They then asked if I had a haze on my windows (which I do) and points to a heater core issue/leak. My overall experience with this dealership from sales to service has been filled with issues. I was told that I would have 2 years of oil changes with a package I paid a decent sum for... But apparently there was a limit not disclosed to me even after I told the finance guy (adam) I put on a lot of KMs. I was also told that the protection package I purchased could be refreshed twice in a five year period. 3M protection, undercoating, fabric protection would all be redone which was a lie. I purchased the extended warranty package (and have the certificate/record of payment) only to be told by a service advisor that I was wrong and didn't have warranty on my car. More
