So far have not had any issues with the dealership, outside of a small issue where my email was input incorrectly on my profile which delayed being contacted for some maintenance work on my vehicle. I had an incredibly disappointing experience with this dealership and feel obligated to let people know, especially as I originally purchased my Hyundai brand new from this dealership less than 9 years ag dealership and feel obligated to let people know, especially as I originally purchased my Hyundai brand new from this dealership less than 9 years ago. I was charged $640 for what amounted to a single inspection and a borescope check—no actual repair work was performed on my vehicle. When I received the bill, I was honestly so shocked by the amount that I didn’t even know how to respond at the moment. I ended up paying it simply so I could take my car home. Looking back, I regret not questioning it then and there. They quoted over $11,000 for a new short block (more than the vehicle is worth) and my car sat on their lot for 3 weeks while Hyundai Canada decided if I was eligible for the warranty. It was decided that my car was 13,500km over the cap of 160,000km for the extended warranty. What makes this worse is the lack of transparency. The photos from the boroscope are dated January 2025, and I have yet to receive the inspection report. The only communication I received was from the service tech, and she was the only redeeming quality in this mess. I trusted this dealership to be fair and honest—especially as a returning customer—and instead walked away feeling taken advantage of. I would strongly recommend others proceed with caution. More

I’m a 58-year-old woman, and in 2023 I co-signed a vehicle loan for my son. Everything was fine for about two years, but after he was laid off, I contacted the dealership to ask about refinancing options. After that, things became very concerning. The dealership sent me multiple new bills of sale, all with different information and signatures. I was told the vehicle had somehow been “resold” to me, and that the total cost had increased by about $14,000 compared to the original agreement. The problem is: • Neither my son nor I signed any new documents • The paperwork I received includes signatures and initials that I do not recognize as mine or my son’s • Some of the documents appear incomplete, with missing dates, odometer readings, and required signatures I filed a dispute with CIBC, but after several months of investigation, I was told the documents were considered valid and that I am responsible for the loan. Since then, I have: • Opened an active case with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police • Filed a complaint with the Alberta Motor Vehicle Industry Council • Reported the situation to the Better Business Bureau This situation has caused me significant financial stress and emotional strain. I am not making accusations here, but I do want to encourage others to carefully review any documents they receive, especially when refinancing or making changes to a loan. More
