Absolutely terrible dealership . The sales staff lied to me continuously. I regret buying my vehicle from this place. Darius, the finance guy, told me "it's illegal to sell a car in . The sales staff lied to me continuously. I regret buying my vehicle from this place. Darius, the finance guy, told me "it's illegal to sell a car in Alberta without a block heater" which is a total lie. When I called him on his lie, he was rude to me. The "7 year" warranty turned out to be incomplete, not covering "any of the 8 computers or the air conditioning". Tim, the finance guy, tacked on bogus charges and was rude to me, telling me "there's no point in me selling you this car if you don't buy the $1800 winter package". Chris Bergen, the sales guy, represented the Elantra GT GLS Manual, which I test drove, as the Elantra GT L Manual, which I bought. When the car arrived, I discovered there is no way to open the trunk from outside the vehicle - you have to go inside the car, unlock the doors, and then go back and open the trunk with the button on the trunk, because the trunk has no key lock, and the car has no remote entry system. AMVIC, the Alberta Motor Vehicle Industry Council, informed me that the air conditioning tax should be included in the MSRP. When purchasing the car, the air conditioning tax was added again after the MSRP, as an extra tax. This raises the possibility that the dealership charged me the air conditioning tax twice, but submitted it to the government once. There was also a $599.00 "financial placement fee" to get the 0.3% interest rate. Bogus fee. It was supposed to be 0%, then it magically increased to 0.3%. Terrible experience here. The car was late, the staff were rude. I completely regret buying my vehicle here. More

Lately, My 2013 Santa Fe had a major engine malfunction this past month, and needed replacing - Jason Drouillard and his team have been working tirelessly to help me battle the Big Corporation of Hyundai Canada to get the necessary work done (I'm now on a first name basis will all the service staff). Unfortunately, Hyundai Canada has not been so good about it, and so I now have a hard time recommending the brand, and will likely not buy Hyundai again due to this experience with Hyundai Canada. However, I will continue to use their service department for all my needs, including non-Hyundai vehicles. Thanks guys - keep being awesome. More
Can I give them no stars? Sherwood Hyundai has the worst customer service & quality of work I have ever had in my life. Our first interaction with the dealership was based on Sherwood Hyundai has the worst customer service & quality of work I have ever had in my life. Our first interaction with the dealership was based on winning a Walmart gift card from them. We came in, and we asked about it. Of course they pitched to us to buy a car. We were looking to buy at the time and the car seemed great so we did buy it. It was all fine except they would not give us the gift card. We had to basically beg for that gift card - which they ran out of in the end but then magically found one later to give to us. We didn't get it for several months. After that, the car, which was on warranty had a few squeaks, which were covered. We brought it in for the issues only to have it come back with them saying they fixed it but really didn't, or that they couldn't find it. Meanwhile, other squeaks came up. Same thing with those. Finally we had a ride along with the mechanic. He said he heard the squeaks - but then when we went to pick up the car, the service lady said that he basically retracted this and said we were driving on the shoulder. (Which is of course legit because once you drive on the shoulder your warranty goes out the window, right?). It took forever to get that problem actually fixed because the dealership had a 'failure to reproduce' the noise(s) each time we brought it in - which was probably a few times per issue - and at least 5 issues that I can think of. I think one time they called us during the day to keep us posted on the status of the car. Other than that, they would simply not do their jobs, and then let us know at the end of the day that nothing worked. This was incredibly frustrating, especially when we asked to be updated throughout the day. With one repair, they had to replace our head unit twice. And guess what - they damaged the panel the head unit sits on - I would guess that it would probably knock off $5,000 off the resale value of the car. This is what they are supposed to be fixing today, replacing for us, free of charge. Over the course of all of this, we have been using their shuttle services to get to work and back. On two occasions, I completely forgot I would not need a ride back from the shuttle, but I unfortunately forgot to let them know. I felt really bad and told them I was really sorry. When I ended up getting back to the dealership, the lady told me that that cannot happen and that they probably won't be able to give me rides anymore. I apologized and said I understood. Because I've totally been there and I get it. Then, today when I got a ride to work from the dealership in the shuttle, the driver hassled me about it again and about wasting their time- in front of someone else. This irritated me because I already apologized, but mostly because the dealership's screw ups are the number one reason I was there. Of anyone's time that shouldn't be wasted it is mine. I waited over a year to get our car fully functional again after how much problems it had. It also irritated me because the driver spoke of something I did wrong in front of someone else. I feel extremely disrespected. I actually like the car we bought, but it is not worth the cost of time, frustration, and disrespect that came with it. More
LIBERTY IS TRULY THE SHERWOOD PARK HYUNDAI'S ANGEL!!! WOW! I can't believe that this lady can sing and dance gracefully BUT SHE CAN ALSO SELL CARS!!! How could you say NO to her if she would do everything to get you a best deal on earth? I've been robbed by those greasy salespersons in other dealership, but here with this down-to-earth and very humble person (LIBERTY) treated us beyond and above my spectations. Smart, elagant as ever and very professional! I've tried to trick her but with her patience and awesomeness, SHE'VE WON ME! If only I can give her 100AAA+++ I will give her that! While I knew that I could find the product I was looking for at places like Tire Warehouse, Just Tires and other shops like these, I remembered the service both my wife and myself have received time and again from the Parts and Service departments of Sherwood Park Hyundai. Having shopped and compared availability as well as pricing, I balanced that against the known customer service I had received at SPH before. Ultimately, I have chosen to use SPH for my service needs, and would recommend to anyone, should they need service or parts to consider Sherwood Park Hyundai as their source. I would like to thank Dale Charlet for assisting me in my tire purchase as well as being prompt and friendly for someone who was in need of a timely resolution. More

I hit a deer with my new Genesis with 420km so decided to trade after the repairs were completed but 2 months later still no car. Sherwood park Hyundai not only gave me top dollar for my reconditioned Genesis but gave me my new car while they waited for my trade in to be completed at the body shop. They basically gave me the best deal out of 5 different dealers and took away a huge burden by taking on the body shop waiting game for me. That is what I call above and beyond. I can't thank these guys enough for all they've done to help a bad situation get much much better! Kudos to Sherwood Park Hyundai! More
