I've been car shopping online for months now, went to a few dealerships- almost bought because i felt pressure to do so by the sales people i dealt with. I almost gave up. I was referred to Sherwood Park Hyundai by a coworker of mine- who recently purchased a vehicle there. This was my last attempt at purchasing a vehicle. I went on their website and inquired- I received an e-mail within a few minutes of submitting my inquiry, followed by a follow up call. By the way, this was at 8:00 at night on a Saturday.. I was surprised to hear from someone because the dealership was closed already. I agreed to go and meet Nigel a few days later, he seemed knowledgable and interested in actually helping me. When I walked in I was greeted by a guy named Josh, he offered me a coffee- I told him I was there to see Nigel and he directed me his way. We sat and talked about what features I wanted, why I wanted to buy and which vehicles would meet my needs. Went over some numbers, found a vehicle that met my needs and my payment budget- they even took my old SUV on trade!!! Went on a test drive, and i immediately fell in love with the Elantra.. which i ended up leaving with that day. They even got my vehicle cleaned for me! And I was only there for a few hours from start to finish! I felt 100% comfortable with everyone I dealt with that day. From being educated by the finance staff, to having my sales person sit in the vehicle with me while i attempted to figure out all of the amazing features it has. We took a tour of the dealership before I left that day. I met the parts manager, 2 girls that worked in service -both said they own an elantra!! if people that work there own them its gotta be a good car right?!! :) and a man named Bob, which i learned is the Dealer Principle. He shook my hand and congratulated me on my purchase- gave me his business card and told me to call him if i ever had any questions or concerns. A few days after I purchased my vehicle- Nigel called to follow up and make sure everything was good. WOW- i am so impressed with every person i had the pleasure of dealing with that day. The best experience ever I was on the hunt for a new vehicle. Was Looking for a fuel efficient vehicle when I was told by a friend to go see Bob at Sherwood Park Hyundai. I asked for Bob and Josh was the first person I talked to and he promptly got Bon for me. He introduced himself asked me if I wanted a coffee and proceeded to ask me questions about my vehicle needs. I told him I was looking for a comfortable fu efficient vehicle and Bod told me about the Sonata Hybrid. He then proceeded to grab a license plate and said " let's go for a ride". I loved it. We discusses numbers, he saved me a lot of money and I purchased the vehicle within an hour. Quick, painless and the best experience I have ever had. Alberto, my salesman, worked with his managers to find the vehicle I wanted in the exact trim and color I was hoping for - it turned out being the last one in Alberta! My vehicle was brought to the dealership from elsewhere in Alberta and arrived within a couple of days. The day I came to pick it up, I was introduced a service advisor who booked me in for my first service visit and explained the expected maintenance. Since purchasing, I've brought it in for its first two services and have had a great experience with the service staff so far. I was in and out within an hour and a half, which is nice because nobody wants to spend their afternoon off waiting for an oil change... Overall, I'm very happy with the friendliness, professionalism, and respectfulness I've experienced at this dealership. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sherwood Park Hyundai to my friends or family. Oh, and I LOVE MY CAR! More
