Mr. Joseph Cornacchia Re: Brad Scherer I would like to outline to you a very positive, ongoing experience that I have had with Brad Scherer, an advisor in your Service Department. May I say at the outset that I have always been distrustful of new car dealer service departments. This distrust has not only been via third party anecdotes but also from personal experience. I started to service my 2009 Toyota Venza at Richmond Hill Toyota in 2010. I have since developed a relationship with Brad and during that time, my perception of new car dealers has softened, especially toward your operation. Brad is a consummate pro. He is very knowledgeable of automobiles and he really understands the functions of his job.He is very concise, time efficient and always imparts a comfort feeling to me with all his evaluations and recommendations for repair. He is also a very nice man. Never have I encountered a situation where he has tried to oversell me. I always have felt that his evaluations were objective and unbiased. In fact he has actually recommended not effecting a certain repair because it was in his opinion not needed. Such a modus operandi indicates competence and most important honesty. Flowing from this is trust which creates and binds relationships and develops positive attitudes. I am still somewhat wary of new car dealerships. However, Richmond Hill Toyota is an exception quite obviously because of Brad. Knowledge, competency, personality and creating trust.... these are keys to excellent retail operations. Brad has them all and because you have him, your dealerships benefits tremendously. You are lucky to have such a fine employee and true gentleman. I hope you treat him well. Sam listened to both my father and I in what we wanted, our concerns and our very specific price range and made sure that we were well informed in our decision to buy a Prius. I appreciated how much time he put into the sale and his dedication to comparing all the models (safety, price, size, etc) that might be appropriate for me and would also make my father happy. I cannot express enough how highly I would recommend Sam as the best choice as he listens to YOUR needs and expectations and recommends options based on only those. He also made sure to recommend me to the other professionals at dealership to give me excellent advice on upkeep and warranties. Other than the knowledge, listening skills, and experience that was clearly evident in Sam, the best part of the experience was dealing with someone who was so friendly in nature. Once again, I highly recommend Sam to any one looking to buy a Toyota! More
