Great service from Toyota Richmond Hill, ON Recently I had a car problem and turned to Toyota Richmond Hill dealership. I service my car, Toyota Avalon (as well as the previous one, also Avalon) Recently I had a car problem and turned to Toyota Richmond Hill dealership. I service my car, Toyota Avalon (as well as the previous one, also Avalon), in this dealership for many years. Brad Scherer, Senior Service Advisor, has helped me to deal with this specific problem. He explained what the problem is and what are my options, translated and explained technical details, helped with advise, was very professional, and made the whole experience manageable. The problem was fixed to my satisfaction. However, the real check of the quality of service was when I heard some noises on the road and returned to dealership to check the car in case it's connected to the problem I had earlier. Brad was patient and courteous. My car was inspected and checked, road test was performed, at no additional cost. And this is not just one case when my concerns were listened to and acted upon in spite of the fact that there was no problem found. I had similar experiences during my 10+ years that I live in Richmond Hill and use this dealership. Just wanted to thank Brad and other Service Advisors I worked with as well as technicians in this dealership for good job they are doing. Over the years I used several Toyota dealerships in GTA but with this one I had the best experience. More

May I say at the outset that I have always been distrustful of new car dealer service departments. This distrust has not only been via third party anecdotes but also from personal experience. I started to service my 2009 Toyota Venza at Richmond Hill Toyota in 2010. I have since developed a relationship with Brad and during that time, my perception of new car dealers has softened, especially toward your operation. Brad is a consummate pro. He is very knowledgeable of automobiles and he really understands the functions of his job.He is very concise, time efficient and always imparts a comfort feeling to me with all his evaluations and recommendations for repair. He is also a very nice man. Never have I encountered a situation where he has tried to oversell me. I always have felt that his evaluations were objective and unbiased. In fact he has actually recommended not effecting a certain repair because it was in his opinion not needed. Such a modus operandi indicates competence and most important honesty. Flowing from this is trust which creates and binds relationships and develops positive attitudes. I am still somewhat wary of new car dealerships. However, Richmond Hill Toyota is an exception quite obviously because of Brad. Knowledge, competency, personality and creating trust.... these are keys to excellent retail operations.
