They badmouthed the other company I have my financed vehicles with, told me it was impossible to make a deal without me turning over my 2 financed vehicles for 1. Told me other options that were stupid, such as get a newer car (not necessarily new/new) and then an old car so I could keep 2 cars, but the detail is, all I am looking to do is get a better rate. I have 2 2012 Cars, and not badly equipped or crappy either, they are low millage and looking new, its all about the rate and type of cars if possible. They strung me along for at least 2 weeks with me texting and calling as asking, and they delayed and told me we are almost ready you are going to like the deal, etc... Then I finally waited long enough, called a final time (from a different phone number) and got the sales guy, who stumbled and at lot of "uh, ah...uh" but told me it was not workable (meaning to their advantage to skin me alive). Worst problem, is once I called in and another colleague of his who did not know me, pretended to know me, and said "So what can I do to get you burning some gas?" They also called the dealership who gave me finance on the 2 other vehicles all sorts of names, and said one of them was in-house financing (which it is) as a hook, they wanted me hooked with them, and that in-house financing did nothing for my credit... Except I checked around and called Credit Tracking companies, and the other dealer with their in-house finance does report on monthly to my credit so it is just the same as any other finance, they just made it work, unlike these guys who promise you the world and... deliver nothing... Waste of time... More

Jeff told me he would give me asking price, or close to it. I show up at the meeting to find out he no longer works there. All of a sudden they offer me half of what we discussed on the phone. Nigel I am not your 'bro', as you kept calling me. They don't even have offices to speak with some privacy. Sat me in the middle of the showroom. Not worth the drive, time and headache to visit this dealer. More

Nate, didn't stop looking and trying EVERY avenue to get me into a reliable, decent and affordable car. Nigel and Zia (sp?) gave me alot of options and walked me through the process to get me the best deal, for my budget. I LOVE my 2014 Ford Fusion and even after the delivery, they check in on me to ensure all is still well and that I am happy with my purchase. Would highly recommend to anyone. More

Sales Manager Nigel went above and beyond to find us everything on our list. Nigel worked very hard to get us exactly what we wanted. We truly APPRECIATE all his help. Ashley was great and made the financing process very easy for us. Mike was very friendly. He went over the truck with us and explained the different features and how they operate. Everyone we encountered at Mainland Ford was super friendly and professional. I would absolutely recommend this dealership. Thank you Mainland Ford for the great customer service and hard work! More
First time buyer Mainland Ford is part of a group of dealerships called the Trotman Auto Group. This also allows them to buy/ trade stock to and from each other. When I was looking for a used car, Mainland Ford was able to bring in a nice Focus from Langley Fiat. When I got to Ford to test drive, it was a great car. I was happy with it, and the last step was for me to go home, and discuss the cost with my partner that night. Apparently that wasn’t going to work because they had “to return” it to the other dealership that night… So I had to either call my boyfriend, who never answers his phone, or forfeit the deal and take back my deposit. No pressure at all right? After a heated discussion, I was able to take the car for the night and talk to my partner about the purchase. So I came back the next day. And I was happy with the car so I decided to go ahead. Partially signed the papers, and then had to come back in two days with my trade-in car to seal the deal. The very next day I happened to find out that the price for it at the other dealership, Langley Fiat was $15,464. The price was changed to $19,860, so an increase of $4,396. Naturally I was quite unhappy. Ford had purchased the vehicle at Fiat for $15, 464. According to some person at Fiat who may have been uniformed, the price should have stayed the same at either dealership. Part of the reason for the increase at Ford was a $1400 “Pack” Fee. This includes a $400 detailing, and $1000 mechanic inspection in house. According to other dealerships the mechanic inspection is a max of $100 so I find that a little odd. And upon a google research of the “Pack Fee” most dealerships charge an extra $200 - $600 for the pack fee which includes the mechanic inspection and the detailing. After the $1400 pack fee, there’s still an increase of $2996 from the advertised price. $1800 was for profit, which still leaves an unexplained increase of $1196. Because my experience thus far hasn’t been the most fantastic one, they were going to throw in a $250 Television, and $200 for the Keg. That’s pretty nice of them, but apparently that was added to price of the car and is the reason for part of the increase. There’s still an unexplained increase there of $749 which I’m not going to ask about. Part of the deal was for $1000 cash back to help with my insurance cost but that would have been added to the $19,860 after. After an INCREDIBLY heated debate, and a lot of anger from both ends, I got the car for $15, 464, and a $50 Prepaid Visa from the owner. I was asked to take it as is without the detailing and the mechanic inspection because I’m getting it for the Fiat price. Apparently it’s not legal for them to sell a car without the mechanic inspection first so I can assume this was already done. Am I happy I got the car at the advertised price finally? Absolutely. But this was a two week ordeal from xxxx and I have learned a lot from this experience that I plan to use for next time. I’m not saying I was lied to, but that dealership is obviously getting ripped off if they have to pay their own mechanic $1000 for an inspection. I love the car, but I hated the experience. . More

He has absolutely no customer skills and will cut anyone's throat if you got in his way. He will lie through his teeth and even probably try to charge you for every second of air your breathed while in this dealership. He will say anything he can to gain your trust including saying he is doing ' everything to help his clients' when under his breath he is clearly muttering how f'ed you will be if you give him any of your business. He will try to pretend he is just an amazing person by saying he will give you gifts, when only to find out that they will be included on your bill. He is a poor excuse as anyone working in the customer service department, and should not even be allowed to work with people ( Not to mention he will not listen to a word you say and throw a tantrum when you can him out on his wrong doings). This was absolutely the WORST experience I have ever had and I would NEVER recommend anyone giving this xxxxxxx any business or even your time of day. Take your business elsewhere before you get suckered in with lies! Oh and they will add many hidden fees into your contract!! Good luck and I would run if I were you Ps. I am only giving one star because I have to, otherwise it would be zero stars.. More
