Motorcycle storage poor customer service. Purchased my used V-Strom from Kanata Honda a few years ago. That went well. I used Kanata Honda motorcycle storage for 2 or 3 years after that. Th Purchased my used V-Strom from Kanata Honda a few years ago. That went well. I used Kanata Honda motorcycle storage for 2 or 3 years after that. The last year I used Kanata Honda storage (2014) I went to get the bike and it would not start. It was dead. So I got Mr. Tucker to look at it and he said that the battery was dead. I told him that it was a brand new battery purchased at Kanata Honda not even a year ago. So I proceeded to lift the seat to look at the battery and turned out that the technician had not connected all the cables to the battery posts. That was the least of my problems. My left mirror somehow got stained in behind where I couldn't get at it. No explanation by the tech or Mr. Tucker. The whole arm of the mirror was completely loose and hasn't been right since. 2015 I found a less expensive place on Royden Place. This dealership did not require 2 months advance payment. Great place but longer commute. 2016 I decided to give Kanata Honda another chance just for the convenience of not having to commute as far. I set up a date to pick up my bike for Thursday 14 April but on that morning I was unable to pick it up, so at 08:27 I call Kanata Honda to set up another time and date. When I called the dealership a young lady answered the phone and was quite abrupt. Not pleasant at all. She didn't say anything derogatory but made me feel like I had no right calling there establishment and felt very rushed. I told her that I was not able to make it in to pick up my bike that day. So she tried to transfer me to service dept but just ended up back to her. I get that, it was busy. So I asked her if it would be possible to pick it up on Saturday, 16 April instead?. Quickly she replied yes no problem and she would pass that on to the service dept. I planned to bicycle to Kanata Honda, leave my bicycle there then drive back with my car and load it up. I called to confirm Saturday morning that I would indeed be able to pick up my bike and again was put on hold for service dept this time for approx 5 minutes, hung up and tried again. The young lady answered and told me that the service dept was not handling Motorcycle pick ups on Saturdays. Good to know. Right? Thursday April 21, 2016; Bicycled to Kanata Honda, all sweaty, walked in to service dept then this young lady starts yelling questions and instructions at me and treated me like I was cattle herding into the barn. She almost forcibly made sign my life away to get my bike back as I was shaking after just coming off my bicycle. Then Mr. Tucker came out to the vehicle bay so I can address my complaints. I got a little abrupt with him using some choice words. Yes I should not of done that, my bad. Then he walked away. I went back inside to let him know that i was leaving my bicycle in the bay and will be back to pick it up but he would not talk to me. I would not argue when the room is full of clients. Tom Nash was eceptionnaly fantastic, in my opinion the best salesman, he is extremely patient and explain all details/steps of buying a new car, I was very impressed with his professionalism and expertise. Tom was attentive, pleasant and extremely helpful, I am absolutely satisfied with my purchase and glad I went to Kanata Honda where I met such an amazing salesman! I would recommend this dealership. Dishonest Dealing I didn't feel great about buying used from a dealer, and my recent experience confirmed it. I'll never go there again. There's always the pressure, of course, and the "somebody else is looking at it right now". I dickered, then brought in an experienced friend who helped me get a better deal. Put my deposit down. Came in -- by bus from Vanier, 3 hours out of my day -- to find that the agreed-upon deal had been altered. Should've gotten it in writing, yes, but I trusted a deal made verbally in front of two witnesses (1 salesman, 1 friend). They didn't resist my demand for a refund, but that's because they had *another* sucker on the hook for a bit more profit margin. Two deals at once, and they sabotaged the one that was a) done first, but b) cost them a bit more. (Maybe.) Dishonorable. And really stupid, long-term, but maybe there are enough naive people that they don't care. P.T. Barnum as car dealership: "There's a sucker born every minute." This is how Kanata Honda appears to operate, and maybe that's par for the course. Pretty xxxxty course! More

This time the alarm on my vehicle started suddenly and every 20-30 minutes I had to shut it off. Monday I brought the vehicle to this dealer and until now (Thursday) they were not able to fix it. Lack of professionalism and support toward the customer's expectations. Be aware! Stay away from this dealer, you'll make yourself a huge favor. More

Honda Civic 2012 LX I have never seen a worse dealership in my life. First I went in to their store all ready to buy a used civic (I had done some research on the Interne I have never seen a worse dealership in my life. First I went in to their store all ready to buy a used civic (I had done some research on the Internet earlier). No one came to receive me or even talk to me for 30 mins after which I got frustrated and left. Later on I tried again the same day in the evening. This time after waiting for 20 mins I went and talked to the manager. He called some salesman and asked him to help me. I already knew which car I wanted and so went ahead and negotiated my price. I went 3 days later to pick up the car only to find it was badly damaged (a big dent on the right door panel). I immediately brought this to their attention. They said I need to talk to their manager. The manager is one of the most nasty fellows I have ever dealt with. He said that since I have already paid the deposit, I have already purchased the car. Either I pay the entire remaining price and take the car as is or I loose the deposit and go home empty handed. He got very hostile to the point of throwing me out. Anyways I opted for the former and went home with a dented and ugly looking car. I had to cough up $800 later on for repairing the dent. More
