I had a great experience with one of the sales reps Joey Kostova, she was really approachable and helpful throughout the whole experience. I have always heard good things about Kanata Honda but my experience with them confirmed it. I would gladly recommend it to all family and friends. Thanks! More
The worst sales experience ever I would like to start off by saying that we've been a Honda Civic driving family since 2001 in Canada and since the 1990s worldwide. We went in to I would like to start off by saying that we've been a Honda Civic driving family since 2001 in Canada and since the 1990s worldwide. We went in to purchase a new Honda Civic Touring - 2016 (currently with a 2012) and after test driving were working on a final price but were on the fence about it. The car salesman was a fantastic guy (Chris Lysen, please see him if you go, but avoid the upcoming name) who negotiated the price with us and to finalize the deal with us he said a manager would come and give us the finalized quote to push us over the fence, little did he know what the manager was going to end up doing. A small wait presented in the form of the rudest sales manager (award goes to Terry Hum) we've ever had the pleasure of meeting (this includes grocery stores). From us being on the fence, he pushed a sales paper in our face and said "that's all you can get, I don't need your sale, I make money on volume sales so your sale doesn't matter to me". It was the rudest sales experience we've had in our lives to say the least. That soured the deal so badly for us as he didn't even have the decency to say a cheery hello or to just say "Unfortunately that's the best deal I can give, I can't do much more". I understand being stressed (if you're a doctor), but honestly because of his behavior we got up and left, I'd rather pay a premium to deal with a person who is a decent human that has manners. All he had to say was how that was all they could do and now it's up to us, yelling and saying I don't need your sale isn't what a manager does. I'm sorry Terry Hum, but finishing a deal doesn't mean you shove a paper while saying I don't need your sale, it means you say unfortunately this is my best price so it's in your court now. I genuinely feel disgusted by how he tarnished a wonderful experience and how the sales person's hard work went out the window because of a rude attitude manager. I would like to advise people to please deal with managers that have the decency to treat you like a person and not just a sales number in their volume sales. Being treated as a human would have been another +1 in their sales as customer service to me matters a lot more than a small discount. Thank you for reading about my sales experience at Kanata Honda - Canada. More
Poor service I had an issue that all of my friends had witnessed and somehow when I got to Kanata Honda the problem went away. Drove away from the dealership and I had an issue that all of my friends had witnessed and somehow when I got to Kanata Honda the problem went away. Drove away from the dealership and the same problem happened again. I was told that motor vehicles are unpredictable and to come back if the problem happened again. I'm not going anywhere near there because I don't even think they looked at it to begin with. There must be a magical dome over Kanata Honda. More

I used to go here, because we bought the car new here and also this is the closest to my work and home. After 3 years, I'm going to make a longer trip and go for another Honda dealership. There is no shortage of Honda dealers in town. But that is not going to be DOW Honda, because they are owned by the same person. More
Motorcycle storage poor customer service. Purchased my used V-Strom from Kanata Honda a few years ago. That went well. I used Kanata Honda motorcycle storage for 2 or 3 years after that. Th Purchased my used V-Strom from Kanata Honda a few years ago. That went well. I used Kanata Honda motorcycle storage for 2 or 3 years after that. The last year I used Kanata Honda storage (2014) I went to get the bike and it would not start. It was dead. So I got Mr. Tucker to look at it and he said that the battery was dead. I told him that it was a brand new battery purchased at Kanata Honda not even a year ago. So I proceeded to lift the seat to look at the battery and turned out that the technician had not connected all the cables to the battery posts. That was the least of my problems. My left mirror somehow got stained in behind where I couldn't get at it. No explanation by the tech or Mr. Tucker. The whole arm of the mirror was completely loose and hasn't been right since. 2015 I found a less expensive place on Royden Place. This dealership did not require 2 months advance payment. Great place but longer commute. 2016 I decided to give Kanata Honda another chance just for the convenience of not having to commute as far. I set up a date to pick up my bike for Thursday 14 April but on that morning I was unable to pick it up, so at 08:27 I call Kanata Honda to set up another time and date. When I called the dealership a young lady answered the phone and was quite abrupt. Not pleasant at all. She didn't say anything derogatory but made me feel like I had no right calling there establishment and felt very rushed. I told her that I was not able to make it in to pick up my bike that day. So she tried to transfer me to service dept but just ended up back to her. I get that, it was busy. So I asked her if it would be possible to pick it up on Saturday, 16 April instead?. Quickly she replied yes no problem and she would pass that on to the service dept. I planned to bicycle to Kanata Honda, leave my bicycle there then drive back with my car and load it up. I called to confirm Saturday morning that I would indeed be able to pick up my bike and again was put on hold for service dept this time for approx 5 minutes, hung up and tried again. The young lady answered and told me that the service dept was not handling Motorcycle pick ups on Saturdays. Good to know. Right? Thursday April 21, 2016; Bicycled to Kanata Honda, all sweaty, walked in to service dept then this young lady starts yelling questions and instructions at me and treated me like I was cattle herding into the barn. She almost forcibly made sign my life away to get my bike back as I was shaking after just coming off my bicycle. Then Mr. Tucker came out to the vehicle bay so I can address my complaints. I got a little abrupt with him using some choice words. Yes I should not of done that, my bad. Then he walked away. I went back inside to let him know that i was leaving my bicycle in the bay and will be back to pick it up but he would not talk to me. I would not argue when the room is full of clients. So I left it at that. Bill S. More

I was p Buying a car isn't as big of a deal for me as a lot of people, because I travel a lot for work and rack up a lot of mileage, so I trade often. I was paired up with a great salesperson who could see where I was coming from, and got right down to the business of getting me a fair price on my trade, a fair price on my new car and a very straightforward, honest and hassle-free transaction. I would deal with Jeff Eaton and Kanata Honda again without hesitation. More
