I had dreaded shopping for a car, because I had heard it tended to be a very combat I really appreciated the assistance of the staff at Kanata Honda. I had dreaded shopping for a car, because I had heard it tended to be a very combative process, but Kanata Honda's staff were very, very much unlike that; dealing with them was pretty much the perfect car-buying experience for me - the staff were respectful and pleasant, and allowed me to think over the purchase in my own time without really trying to influence me one way or the other; they just let the product sort of sell itself, and they were available to answer questions. It was great. Some details: - The salesperson came with us on our test drive, but he was pleasant and unobtrusive, and allowed me to assess the vehicle on its own merits. - After the test drive, when I indicated we would keep the car in mind but would keep looking, there was no attempt to overcome that, or convince us to stay or make a quicker decision than we were comfortable with. - The price was as marked on the vehicle, with only tax (HST, 13%) and plate transfer ($32) added on. -- Our salesperson indicated that they do not negotiate the prices of used cars, which I was relieved by, because it reassured me that I was getting the best price that I could get from them, and that my skills as a negotiator / willingness to be unpleasant or act like I didn't actually want the car (when I very much did) had no part in determining the price. - Add-ons: I was offered rust protection (both for the undercarriage, and, separately, for the paint); the options were clearly, but concisely explained, and when I indicated I wasn't interested in rust-protecting the paint, there was no argument on the subject (I did go for the undercarriage coating, at an additional charge of $800; but I never felt pressured to do so). More

Vehicle damaged during service Took my 2013 Honda Accord in for a recall regarding a battery sensor. It was returned to me with scratches all over the front driver-side bumper. The car was conveniently parked with the damage facing away from the door when they returned it to me. Now the dealership is disputing the damage was done during the service. More

Yesteyday they took additional photos of the car damage and requested waiting without specifying time schedule for the repair. Apperently proposed car body work and new painting does not change car selling value, hard to believe it. More

None of those dreaded sales techniques that dealers usually use on you. Peter gave a very attractive price and a fair trade in value. Also met with Jimmy the Finance Manager, quick and easy, he didn't try to sell you things you don't need. Michael helped on the pick up day, explained everything comprehensively and ensured I was happy with everything before leaving. I've purchased a few cars in the past couple of years and I have to say that this entire experience has been phenomenal. I usually dread buying a new car as dealers always try to get you in and then you spend hours negotiating. I will be going to Kanata Honda anytime I'm in the market for a Honda. I've already recommended them to my friends who are looking to purchase new cars. Drop by and visit them, you'll know exactly what I mean by excellent customer service. You won't regret it! More

I told Matthew that our sliding door was hit previously and had problem to open and close, also there was a little scratches in the front, inquire on how much and if it’s worth to fix those little things. So, he checked and told me that they have some compound to remove those fine lines, later their technician even fixed our sliding door without charging me a cent. All is done within 30 minutes. Thanks Kanata Honda for providing such an excellent service! Min More
