Paint peeling off 2013 Honda Pilot for the 2nd time Bought my 2013 Honda Pilot new in 2013, and after 2 years, a section of paint on my roof came off just above the windshield. Kanata Honda had the roof Bought my 2013 Honda Pilot new in 2013, and after 2 years, a section of paint on my roof came off just above the windshield. Kanata Honda had the roof repainted, and said that this rarely happens, and could be defective elsewhere on my vehicle. I was told that any future issues relating to the paint peeling off the same way, would be covered. Fast forward 2 years later, and the same issue has come up on my hood, but they won't cover it because it falls out of warranty. Despite this being a repeat issue, and of course, there is no record of Kanata Honda saying they would take care of this should it happen again. They were nice enough to quote me $1200 to have it repaired. (Note sarcasm) Customer service isn't what it was, and I won't be buying another vehicle from Kanata Honda. This is my 2nd vehicle, and will be my last. Sending this to Honda Canada, and OMVIC... More

Careless for their customers Purchased used car 5 months ago and passed only 5500 km. I brought my car to another dealer to do winter tire change and they found out that my engine Purchased used car 5 months ago and passed only 5500 km. I brought my car to another dealer to do winter tire change and they found out that my engine oil leaks!!! According to them that's not possible to have leak like that in just 5500 km what means Honda Kanata management was aware of that problem before they sold car to me, unlucky customer. Yesterday I went there to ask some questions, I am aware it's my mistake because I trusted them and didn't check car with my mechanic, but nothing but rude explanation from USED CAR MANAGER, that they have warranty for one month for used cars. Before I went to buy this car I checked reviews and I can't believe they are right, because they are totally different than body language of the personal I spoke too. Very disappointed, make sure when you buy used car, probably from any dealership, have your personality mechanics to do the right check. Darl More

Even during the very busy model year change over period we never felt rushed. A second sales agent Chris Lysen pitched in with a demo ride as we learned about the Honda Sensing (Safety) features. The financial manager Jimmy Tang was comprehensive and congenial. The whole experience was pleasant and we are happy with a new 2018 Civic Sedan and would recommend any of these contacts and Kanata Honda. Sam & Marie More
Oil change and change to winter tire Two weeks ago made an appointment for 9:30 am this morning. Brought CRV in last night. Went in at 3:00 pm only to be told vehicle was not ready and would be at 5:00 pm. Service advisor called at home to tell me it wouldn’t be ready until later. Then offered a rescheduling for another day and 15% discount. Don’t understand why they have you schedule. Totally understand it’s a busy time of year but isn’t that why you schedule vehicles, to avoid the issues of being too busy. Makes me wonder if they care about the customer. Disappointed because I took the time to bring my CRV the night before and to borrow someone else’s vehicle. I guess the service advisor doesn’t think of that stuff and figures it’s easy for me just to reschedule and start again. I’ve had other vehicles from other dealers, have made many other maintenance appointments and have never been this disappointed. My first ever Honda, go figure. More

I asked why I needed this work and he said that it is required and if I didn’t do the work, my warranty would be void. Having owned cars for the past 35 years, I have never heard of this. I consulted other experts in the field and they told me it was unnecessary work. I’ll never go back to Kanata Honda or recommend their service. More
