I’m still quite upset with the way they handled our issues after we purchased the vehicle which is why I’ve taken so long to write this review. All we heard through the entire process was how successful they were and how they sold 10 cars a day, although when it came right down to it, we were just a number to them and once they got our money, they were done with us. Their customer support or lack thereof is appalling. We met with Luis Paredes Jr. on our initial visit. We returned a week later and dealt with Mark Dawson. They were both quite helpful at the time, although we ended up buying a Tucson from Mark. We really had no issues until we picked up the vehicle. We dealt with Connie Taylor regarding the financing and she truly was the only positive aspect out of the entire experience. She worked with our credit and was able to get our monthly payments down to what we could afford. There were many phone calls and questions, and she was patient and supportive. Although a word of advice…please do your homework when it comes to the extended warranty. It saved us quite a bit of money to not have it included. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Ultimately they are in the business to sell you whatever they can to make money. Upon pick up, the car was very dirty and I noticed some stains in the back seat. I didn’t realize the extent of the dirt until I had to clean it myself. Luis told us initially that they would detail the car for us as was their standard practice. It took me 3 hours to properly clean the car and that was just on the inside! I found roughly 4 handfuls of garbage in-between the seats and disgusting dog hair. If I could attached the pictures (which we showed JP Motors, I would) There was old coffee spills in the gear shift and I had to use a screwdriver to chisel out the gunk. There were stains on the ceiling of the car and noticed after the fact that we didn’t even receive any back floor mats. My husband texted Connie right away and asked her who we can bring our concerns to. She gave him the name of a woman (who we called 3 times) and of course we never heard back. Unfortunately I don’t recall her name. We had 7 days to return the vehicle should there be any issues. We brought it to our mechanic who we’ve known for years and obviously trust to have a once over and he discovered that the front tires were no good. He said within a few months they needed to be replaced and he would not travel too far with them. I didn’t expect to spend that kind of money and then have to dish out more money to get new tires! Not to mention the safety issue. Since our phone calls were being ignored, my husband stopped in to the showroom and spoke to Mark face to face. He assured him that he would ‘take care of it’. And again, we heard nothing. I received a follow up email from Kevin Kirkpatrick (who is in Customer Relations) and so my husband called him and explained what we found out about the tires. It took 3 weeks for someone to get back to us after we called numerous times. We were told we had to bring it in to their garage in Burlington. We made an appointment and I went to their showroom but found out I was given the wrong address! The garage was apparently located down the street. After driving around with my toddler for 10 minutes I finally found it. After leaving the car for half an hour to be inspected, the service manager said there is nothing wrong with the tires and everything looks fine. What a joke! As if I’m going to take his word over my mechanics. Ultimately it was my word against theirs and they couldn’t care less. We just recently had to spend another $1000 to get new tires. I could understand if they wouldn’t change the tires because they felt our complaint wasn’t warranted. But it was just one thing after another. Our issues and concerns were ignored and not one person took what we had to say seriously. After spending that kind of money on a large purchase like a vehicle, you expect a certain level of service and we definitely did not receive it at JP Motors. My only reason for going back to purchase another vehicle in the future would be because of Connie. Since this was my first used car purchase, I know now what to ask for and what to demand before signing anything. More

These cars have extended warranty on the transmission became of the way it made !! Just look them up before you purchase one . Second don't waste your money on the extended warranty, its garbage. Also if you are trading in your vehicle make sure you they'll them not to change the plate with the Ministry of transportation on till the day you are picking up your new car !! They took mine off my car 2days after I signed over my ownership then I cancelled the car that day !! I didn't know that they did that. 2 months later I was pulled over by the police to tell me my car wasn't registered to be on the road !! I was in total shock. Thank goodness he let me go after 45 mins and I was told to go to the ministry in the next day !! When the lady at the ministry typed in my vin number it said my plates were not attached to my vehicle !! She had to call head office and they said JP motors had them taken off my car to put on the new car but when I cancel it they didn't put them back on my car !! So I had to pay to have them put back on my car and I contacted JP motors and they would not answer my phone call or call me back. Really poor customer service. They then sent me an email telling me I had to go get a safety done on my car again and omission test. And they said GOOD LUCK. So please if you are going to purchase a car here tell them you do not want your ownership signed over to the new car until the day you pick the car up or you will be driving around with no plate to touch your car. I would never purchase anything from them ever again. Thanks More

Horrible!!!! Absolutely Horrible!!!!! Horrible!!!! Absolutely Horrible!!!!! When I bought the car I purchased what I was told was a warranty to cover all major mechanical parts. Af Horrible!!!! Absolutely Horrible!!!!! When I bought the car I purchased what I was told was a warranty to cover all major mechanical parts. After only a few months of owning the car the starter went. After I brought the car to my mechanic I learned that the warranty was a power train only?!?!? Really? Like I would have spent 2500 on a 18 month power train warranty?!?!? My fault, I guess I should have read all the fine print but I trusted JP Motors at that time. It was going to cost me $435.00 with my mechanic to fix it. Felling a little bit ripped off I called the dealership manager John and asked what we could do to make the situation right. John offered to fix the car and said he would discount the parts and labor but I had to get it to his shop. When I called to book the appointment with JP I asked what the estimated discount price would be but the service clerk was unable to give me a price because John was not in the office. After my mechanic temporarily fixed the starter I brought it in to JP and that’s when things got real slimy. John’s so called discount price was $400?!?!? This is after supposedly discounting 110 of the part and cut labor in half???? Seems to me John raised the prices to make it seem like he was discounting me when in fact he was not. When I called to speak with John and ask why it was only 35 less than what my mechanic quoted me he reminded me I should have gotten a quote before I brought it in ( Seems to me like he told the clerk not to quote me so he could jack me and hold me hostage when I got there). I told him I did request and would have never bothered if I had known and that $35 wasn’t much of a discount, his response was “ If you don’t like it, I will roll your car into the parking lot and leave it there” WOW!?!?!? John Is That what you call standing behind your products and customer service?!?! So just a warning to all reading this DO NOT BUY YOUR CAR FROM JP MOTORS THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF/SCAM YOU!!!!! DO NOT BE FOOLED LIKE I WAS THESE GUYS ARE AS SLIMY AS IT GETS! THEY ARE NOT SALESMEN BUT MORE LIKE CON ARTISTS. LARRY THE OWNER IS A JOKE FOR LETTING THIS HAPPEN IN HIS SHOP. More
Horrible Dealership Purchased a 2008 Uplander 8 months ago. Since the purchase the rear windshield wiper motor has gone, interior power button for side door does not work Purchased a 2008 Uplander 8 months ago. Since the purchase the rear windshield wiper motor has gone, interior power button for side door does not work, passenger door handle cover was a patch job and doesn't stay on and the transmission went. Mister transmission was very helpful and advised that this was an issue their mechanics knew was going to happen eventually. Wish I stuck with Haldimand Motors. Never had issues with their vehicles and were always willing to help. Never buy a vehicle from JP again. They only help you get from them is making sure they get you financed. More
No pressure, quick and easy I dealt with Thomas when making the purchase of my 2012 Ford Escape. There's not much else to say other than in this fast-paced world, quick and easy I dealt with Thomas when making the purchase of my 2012 Ford Escape. There's not much else to say other than in this fast-paced world, quick and easy is always appreciated. Thomas never once made me feel pressured into making a purchase, rather he answered my questions and gave me the personal time I needed to make a decision. Also, he was very understanding about my hectic schedule and did everything he could to accommodate my requests regarding when I was able to test drive, and even a specific fix I wanted on the vehicle before committing to the purchase. He made things happen, and in no time at all I was behind the wheel of a very reliable vehicle, feeling confident in my choice. No buyers remorse for me, and no bad taste in my mouth regarding the process. I would recommend Thomas as well as JP Motors overall to provide anyone who steps in the door with great service and even better product. Thank you personally, Thomas. More
