I am so pleased with my car and a big thank you goes to product advisor Elly Endo. She was a tremendous help when making my selection and was gracious enough to help me get to know my 'new' car. Ellen was very professional and knowledgeable about the product and helped negotiate the transaction. I look forward to a good many years driving in the comfort of my lovely Toyota. Thank you Elley You are a tremendous asset to Toyota. More

About two years ago the service started going down - longer hours and bigger bills... Eventually I started suspecting that they were overcharging me by replacing parts that did not needed to be replaced and adding more work hours, but my faith in them as professionals was strong and I kept coming... Today, just accidentally, I figured out that they charge 20% more for parts and almost 60% more for their labour as compare to other Toyota dealerships - because of "high operational costs" - so if you want to pay your dealership the plastic surgeon rates - that is your dealship.... Moreover, if you have issues with tires or batteries you bought from them - they dont want to work with you to minimize replacement costs... So, its sad that after years of commitment and thousand dollars spent at this dealership I have to walk away with a hard heart..... Defenitely not A TOYOTA EXPERIENCE..... STAY AWAY from this place... More

Service Department can't be trusted at DVN Toyota I will preface this review by saying this was the worst service I've ever received anywhere. I left DVN lied to and disrespected. As a 20-year custom I will preface this review by saying this was the worst service I've ever received anywhere. I left DVN lied to and disrespected. As a 20-year customer of Toyota, my confidence in the company and dealership has been shaken. My Toyota vehicle is less two years old and still under warranty for another year. When I developed a "knocking" sound in my suspension, I naturally took it to DVN - where I leased the car from - for service. I spent four hours at the dealership, which included paid service for an oil change. After a few hours, I drove around the block with the shop's foreman to identify the problem. He heard the problem himself. I was told a part of the suspension would need to be replaced (an arm) under warranty at no cost to me. I returned Monday to have the part replaced, which took another half-day to complete. It was recommended by my service advisor, Dennis, that I needed a wheel rotation for $119. I declined the service. A day later, the noise returned. I attempted to contact the service manager to find a way to proceed. The problem wasn't fixed and I had already dedicated nearly 10 hours to the situation. All my attempts to contact the service manager - phone messages, emails - went unanswered. I booked a follow-up service appointment and proceeded to take my car back in to have this resolved once and for all. I met my service advisor - Dennis - for the third time in three weeks. I told him that I couldn't afford to spend anymore time waiting, and that I would need a courtesy car while they figured out the problem. He obliged. I also mentioned that I had noticed a burning smell emanating from the bottom of my car, and that I wasn't sure if it was related or not to the suspension. He started a work order, and I was on my way. The next day, I received a call from Dennis. He told me that a stone was discovered in the suspension. The foreman took the car out for a drive and concluded the problem was fixed. The burning smell was caused by a plastic bag getting caught in my exhaust pipe directly underneath my car. He quoted me $130 to have it removed! Which not-so-coincidentally happens to be the same rate for one hour of labour by a technician. I declined this outlandish amount to have a plastic bag removed. When I returned to the service department to pick up my car an hour later, Dennis was there once again. He proceeded to place the rock in front of me. "Am I supposed to keep this as a souvenir?" I asked. There was no work order to sign. He then proceeded to ask me for $65 to pay his technician. "For what?" I asked. Dennis explained that the stone wasn't related to the initial suspension issue that caused me to bring the car in in the first place. I scoffed at him, saying that wasn't true at all. I suggested we call it even, considering I had spent 12 hours getting this issue resolved. Toyota - If your time is money, then I hope you can appreciate that mine is too. Dennis grudgingly agreed and tossed me my keys. His final words: "don't come back for repair, come back for service." A fitting tribute to an encounter where the bottom line far exceeds the notion of quality customer service and care. When I got home, I looked under the car to find a plastic bag dangling from the mid-exhaust. Yes, it was caught, but a simple tug would have removed 90 per cent of it. Leaving it there could only be construed as a spiteful act toward someone who wasn't willing to play - or pay - the game. Keep in mind, I did pay for oil-and-filter service upon my first visit. I filed a formal complaint with Toyota head office a week ago. I never heard back. Please be aware that the service department at DVN is solely concerned with their bottom line. They will try to recommend and upsell service at any and every turn. Their goal, in my opinion, is to try and get you to spend as much money as possible on every visit. I believe as a customer I have the right to decline service, especially service presented that I don't need or would have to pay an unnecessary premium for. And I don't believe I should be disrespected or undervalued as a customer because of this. DVN Toyota - give your head a shake. Start treating your customers honestly and with respect. Do the job right the first time and only recommend work that needs to be done. Start charging reasonable prices for parts and service. And for heaven's sake, remove a plastic bag in good faith because you value your customers and genuinely want to provide good service. Your future business model depends on it. More
