I called in requesting a straightforward vehicle appraisal. Unlike the vast majority of dealerships, which assess trade-in value based on current market data, this dealer sent my vehicle to auction appraisal. When the number came back at less than half of what I had received from active offers at nearby dealerships, the salesman responded with a thumbs up — no explanation, no accountability. When I asked to speak with a manager to understand such a significant discrepancy, the salesman offered a dismissive quip about his father teaching him to help people even when they don't want it. Unprofessional at best. The floor/sales manager was equally indifferent. Rather than addressing the salesman's conduct, he simply asked if an extra $500 would resolve my concerns. It wouldn't — because the issue was never about the number alone. It was about transparency, respect, and basic professionalism, none of which were present. Do not waste your time here. This dealership has no interest in listening to your needs or earning your business. Their model appears to be: wait for a customer to walk themselves into a deal, sign the paperwork, and collect the commission. There is no effort, no integrity, and no quality of service to speak of. During my visit this morning, I was advised to perform an “EFI / throttle body flush service” and was told it was required due to my vehicle being approximately six years old. This was in addition to Service “EFI / throttle body flush service” and was told it was required due to my vehicle being approximately six years old. This was in addition to Service #1 and tire swap with storage, which I had originally booked. I agreed to and paid for the recommended service. I declined the additional recommendation to “replace transmission fluid.” After the visit, I reviewed my service records and confirmed that the EFI / throttle body flush service had already been completed last year. Furthermore, the dealership’s own service documentation indicates that this service is recommended at approximately four-year intervals. Based on my review: The service was recommended approximately one year after it was already performed The manufacturer/dealership guideline indicates a four-year interval There were no symptoms, warnings, or performance issues with the vehicle Given these facts, I am concerned that the recommendation may not have been based on actual vehicle need or manufacturer interval, and may have been presented in a manner that could lead a consumer to approve unnecessary maintenance. I believe this warrants review under OMVIC standards regarding fair, transparent, and accurate service recommendations. I would also like to note that I have historically been satisfied with my vehicle purchase experience and the customer service provided by Arman during the 2019 purchase of my vehicle. I am the original owner. However, this complaint specifically concerns the conduct and recommendation made during my recent service visit. I have already escalated this matter to Toyota Canada, Weins Group, and the General Manager of Don Valley Toyota. I was also dissatisfied with how my concern was handled during my phone call earlier today. If necessary, I will continue to escalate this matter through the appropriate regulatory channels. More
I placed a $1000 deposit for a 2025 Corolla Hybrid LE AWD back in April 2024. Waited until November 2025 and they said they still did not have any car. Don Valley North Toyota just didn't want to sell me a car and kept my deposit for over a year. The sales rep was called Tony Cao. I will never go back to this dealer ever again, and I am letting everyone I know not to go to this dealer. More

Stay away from this location. Their service department is the worst I’ve ever encountered. Had a check up appointment on my new brand 2024 Toyota, and a change of winter tires. I’ve waited for 4 hours, no one got me one phone call for updates. Called four times, left messages as no one pick up the phone. When I finally picked up the car after 4 hours, I’ve noticed they reused the old muddy dirty plastic bags that I previously had on my summer tires to cover the winter tires. They xxxxed up my car interior. How cheap and crazy can you be to use the same muddy old plastic bags.? They supposedly to complimentary wash the car as well..my car looks as if someone spit on it. It’s stained and dirty. Also inside the car was smelling alcohol. Probably they drink as well. No one talked to me about anything that has been done to the car or to give me an assessment to the check up. They charged you and gives you xxxx. Don’t go to this Don Mills Toyota Dealership. I will never come back and will file a formal complaint. Horrible experience that will cost me extra money to clean the car. Stay away of this place. More
I bought two cars from DVN and I have been going their to serve my cars. I am very impressed by their excellent customer service from the receiving team to meeting with the assigned Technical Advisor. Servic serve my cars. Services are always timely and my assigned technical advisor Mr Ching Lai is very helpful and he would explain all the needed services to me and got them fixed in a timely manner. If the wait was too long he would even arrange Uber Rides for me. That’s very thoughtful of Mr Ching Lai. More
