Hello Mike, I apologize for your wasted time. In Alberta previous ownership is not necessary when registering a vehicle and we were under the understanding that Ontario was the same. The second part of your concern left me a bit confused though because it is my understanding that when you reached out to your salesperson yesterday and made him aware of our error, that he sent you the necessary paperwork on the same day. We are human and do make mistakes but on the rare occasion that this happens we will do our best to rectify the situation. It’s unfortunate I had to resort to this review to get a response as I have called the dealership over a dozen times, no one has confirmed that the ownership’s have been mailed and no copy or it was emailed to me as requested, I do apologize if you didn’t know about needing a copy in Ontario as I was told you had shipped cars all over Canada including Ontario,, but regardless can you please confirm the ownership is on its way and I am certain you have a copy on file that you can email. Hello Curtis, we replace and repair any safety related items ensuring that all the used vehicles we sell are safe to drive as per AMVIC standards. Replacing everything that would be required to get a seven-year-old vehicle with 170,000 km's to like new condition would be unrealistic and drive the industry used vehicle prices higher than they already are. No one said anything about new condition already trying to deflect yes if new condition was wanted would be way more than what didnt pass inspection at ok tire ......are you saying 40000 on a used gas vehicle with 170000kms id not enough money to put out a safe reliable vehicle to a customer ? You guys kept calling me back after i walked out 3 times on other vehicles and deals ...... i told you i need a truck that i am not going to have to do any repairs for a long time your dealership said you have just the truck for that and it passed ispection with flying colors in your guys words .....i asked for it to go through shop again have everything looked at again because i dont want a vehicle i have to repair if i am spending over 40000 you guys did and told me it passed again with flying colors...... i took truck to ok tire and all fluids in truck are burnt and dicolored , there is a hole in radiator , rotors are all warped and burnt calipers are seizing pads are almost done and battery is toast which they showed me personally .....so why wouldnt you state what you just said before i purchased instead of lying and hiding issues with truck ? Oh yeah becuse you know and i know i would have walked out not have purchased this thats why .........but as your statement made you obviously knew there were issues but you guys lied instead of mentioning any of these for going through your shop 2 times and pasing with flying colors in your words , not one issue was brought to my attention when i asked i was told it passed with flying colors and would not need any work as capital stated to me . Are you saying i am lying about these issues or what was said to me at dealership ? Are you saying ok tire is lying about these issues they showed me personally ? Hello Roy, thank you for the feedback. From what I have been able to find out when looking into your concerns was that you didn't have an appointment for Saturday when you dropped your truck off. Being that we have reduced staffing on Saturday's and that we are usually booked quite full I understand why they were unable to touch your vehicle that day, but we should have been able to get in and completed on Monday. I have used your review to bring this up with both our dispatch office as well as the communication issues that you mentioned with your advisor. Hello "Disappointed", unfortunately your 1 star review only effects our dealership and not the government or manufacturer that is the root cause of this problem. This problem in not just a Chrysler problem either. Ford, GM, and the heavy-duty industry are all struggling with similar issues caused by the government mandated pollution control systems that use Urea to lower harmful emissions. Our service manager wasn't telling you to crawl under your vehicle at all, he was just letting you know what some inventive owners had done to get around the problem while the industry works on a solution to the problem. My question to your services manager who I understand to represent Chrysler was “what is being done about the root cause of the problem to rectify it. I was told “nothing, he just does what Chrysler tells him. Some guys are trying to wrap battery blankets around the tanks. I have to go my wife is picking me up in 9 minutes.” Nobody has eluded to Chrysler doing anything about the issue which is what my question was about. Thank you for taking the time to let me in on why my new truck is not running properly. Does Mopar have battery blankets?

Chrysler, just like the other manufacturers, work on improving anything that is a common issue but to ask us what they are doing about this, we can't tell you. All we can say is they know about the problem. Chrysler does not sell battery blankets, but they are commonly found at many of the aftermarket automotive stores. After your review I did go out and talk with two of our experienced diesel technicians and one of them installed a heater similar to a battery blanket on one of the fleet trucks we deal with and he says the customer hasn't experienced any problems since so it appears that it is a solution to the problem, just not warrantable fix. If you wished to discuss it in more detail, you can speak with our shop foreman who is a highly experienced diesel tech. Hope this helps in some way.
