I recently purchased a 2025 Hyundai Sonata Preferred Trend. Initially, the dealership staff were extremely helpful and supportive throughout the buying process. However, just 27 days after getting the car, I noticed a bubble in the front right tire. Concerned, I went straight to the dealership the next day. When I explained the issue, the first thing they said was that I must have hit a pothole or a curb. I calmly told them that nothing of that sort happened — the tire developed a bubble in less than a month, which is unacceptable, especially for a new, high-end vehicle. After some back and forth, they finally said they couldn’t replace the tire for free but would offer a discount. They booked me an appointment for the next day. When I went in, the people I initially dealt with weren’t there. Instead, the service manager was present, and she was extremely rude. She denied any discount and simply gave me a quotation — which clearly mentioned no discount at all. I was beyond frustrated. I told them to keep the car, and I would escalate the matter. In response, the manager abruptly ended the conversation and said, “If you want to go legal, then go legal — don’t talk.” This was the dealership’s after-sales experience. So to anyone considering buying a car from them — beware. Bruce, I have the car now, but your team’s attitude is unacceptable. More
