The pre-owned sales department is the epitome of sleazy, untrustworthy dealership culture. I was sold a vehicle without being disclosed the major prior damage it had sustained, as the dealership completely failed to provide the required Carfax report. Upon discovering the non-compliance, I contacted OMVIC and submitted a claim against BMW Grand River for not abiding by MTO regulations. Upon notifying the pre-owned sales manager of their non-compliance, the manager not once, but twice denied any wrongdoing and refused to admit their failure to follow mandatory MTO regulations. It wasn't until OMVIC had to explicitly educate BMW Grand River’s director on their clear regulatory violations that the dealership finally backed down and agreed to rectify the issue. The inability to follow MTO regulations, the hiding of the damage the car had sustained and the sleazy denial and manipulation from management regarding their non-compliance is unacceptable. Dealerships like this are the reason the "shady car salesman" stereotype exists. If you value transparency and legal compliance, avoid BMW Grand River and take your business elsewhere.

Extremely Disappointed – Felt Misled at Honda Cambridge I brought my vehicle to Honda Cambridge to address a cracking sound when releasing the brakes. This noise has been there since the day I bought the car. I didn’t bring it in earlier because I simply didn’t have the time — even though I booked several service appointments in the past, I couldn’t attend them due to my schedule. When I finally managed to bring the car in, I expected them to properly investigate the issue. Instead, they quickly claimed it was because the brakes needed servicing and tried to sell me a brake service. I explained clearly that this sound existed from day one, so it cannot be from normal wear and tear, yet they still insisted on the same answer without doing a proper diagnosis. This felt less like a genuine attempt to resolve a customer’s concern and more like a push for unnecessary work. As a paying customer, I expect honesty, proper technical assessment, and the willingness to actually listen — unfortunately, none of these were present here. I left frustrated, unheard, and still with the same problem I came in for. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Honda Cambridge for service.

Following service items easily followed up by customers after service done, which are including in the service package, were not performed at all while I picked the vehicle up, but Cambridge Toyota fully charged me the service prices of the service package. 1. “Remove & inspect cabin air filter” Finding: I used a piece of transparent tape to seal a small area of the cabin air filter cover after last service. After this service, the tape is still intact and over the place. That means no body took the cabin air filter out from its place to do inspection during this service 2. “Remove & inspect engine air filter” Finding: I used a piece of transparent tape to seal a small area of the engine air filter box after last service. After this service, the tape is intact and still over the place. That means no body opened the engine air filter box to inspect the filter during this service. 3. “Lubricate locks, latches and hinges”. Finding: door locks and hinge area are still covered by dust and dusty spots, there is no signs of cleaning up or covering by fresh liquid lubricant spray (see attached photos). 4. “Remove wheels & visually inspect brake pads, calipers, rotors, brake lines and hoses”. While the advisor asked me any concerns, I reported potential rear brake griding noise. The service found “rear outboard pads metal on metal”, and it charged me extra $84.98 plus tax, which is supposed to be done and including in the service package.

Whoever safeties the vehicle is not doing it right ...bought a vehicle and within 2 days everything that could go wrong did .... they made us drive back and forth 3 times saying the problem was fixed and that it was good to go but it was not the case they just covered it up .. all the problems would come back the whole front end of the vehicle was screwed up ... one time they called and said it was fixed . And we had to leave the vehicle there again dint even drive out the lot ..eventually they wouldn't even look after us anymore ... we dint even own the car for a month I had to get rid off it it was extremely unsafe..

DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. Worst experience. I will never recommend this dealership to anyone I know. Started with an appointment with Sales, arrived at time but I had to wait for more than 30 minutes to meet the sales lady. Since it’s my first car and I am new to Canada, my loan application was rejected (which is something I understand) so they asked for a co-signer, and even though it is not easy to find a co-signer when you’re a newcomer, I managed to find one. However, when I sent my co-signer documents to the sales lady, she just kept on telling me that since your application was refused previously she can’t start the application again without the approval of (Michael). I don’t who is this Michael, but this doesn’t make any sense from a customer point of view. What’s more, the lack of customer service experience these people have is something I have never seem before. Customer’s satisfaction is not something they are investing in. I wanted an Outlander so badly, and will try to find it in any other Mitsubishi dealership, but if they are the only dealership having stock now, I would rather change to any other vehicle than trying to deal with them again.

They had me committed on the purchase contract, and then levered that as hard as they could against me. I was a repeat customer; not any more.
