Buying from family I'd looked around for a truck for about 3 weeks, by visiting numerous GM, Dodge and Ford dealerships. In the process I found many models of trucks I c I'd looked around for a truck for about 3 weeks, by visiting numerous GM, Dodge and Ford dealerships. In the process I found many models of trucks I could've easily enjoyed. A close friend recommended I check with Thor Motors in Orillia, so I called into sales and spoke with Danielle. After a very pleasant conversation with her, I ventured to their location and was shown the truck I viewed online. During this visit and with further on-lot discussions with Danielle and Andrew, I was convinced that it was more than the F150 alone and why I chose to purchase at Thor. Danielle was the only sales person that I had encountered while searching for my truck that answered my questions straight up. She didn't try and hide behind sales tactics to keep me in the dark with regards to pricing, discounts and other numbers. She's also been excellent in after purchase support with my requests on additional accessories and the coordination of those installs with Andrew. Since the purchase I've dropped by a few times just to say hello. Each time, Danielle has greeted me as more than just another customer, but as a friend. She understands customer needs and has responded with excellent after purchase service. Richard and the detailing crew have also been super friendly and personable; Glen and Tim in the parts department have been very helpful and knowledgable in feeding my parts addiction too! My final thoughts... You need to at least consider Thor Motors when purchasing a vehicle since you not only purchase the product but also the services behind the life expectancy of it, Do not skip on those choices, and consider Thor Motors otherwise you're making your choice with blinders on... Was disappointed that when I picked up my car and got home and read the report that my rear brakes had only 3mm left. No one told me this or explained it on picking up the car or during the service when home and read the report that my rear brakes had only 3mm left.
