Stay away from Markham Honda, We don't want any add on and request to remove but Danish refuse to. After taking the car, we read the contract and came back few days later request to cancel them he makes and request to remove but Danish refuse to. So gone home, call Honda Canada and they said I can cancel anytime. I wish I read review before trusting this dealer. More
I had bought a 2017 CRV and was made to pay around 2000$ for rust proof treatment. Later I discovered that all used vehicles must have gone through that treatment already and it was not necessary to pay ex for rust proof treatment. Anyhow, after 1.5 year I requested to repeat the rust proof for my vehicle as I had paid for that already ; and visited the service department at the same place in Markham Honda. They did not complete the task during the 1st visit and asked me to o visit again 2nd time for its completion. 2nd time: I drove there and waited for a long time and after 2 hours of waiting I was told that the Machine was broken that day and servicemen are working. So I was advised to come next time with appointment. 3rd time: I arrived at 9 am again for the completion of that invisible rustproofing (????) and now it is 10:08 am ; and I am waiting with no hope of getting satisfactory service. Recently purchased a vehicle from Markham Honda. It was as painless as buying a used car can be! Their price was better than any other dealership offering a similar vehicle. My wife and I test drove and liked a 2016 Honda Civic a few nights ago at Markham Honda. Yesterday, we worked through and settled on all features of the agreement with the sales person: Santos. This included final pricing, condition of the car and trade-in value for our older Honda Accord. We had a deal. Shortly after this, another manager got involved and directed Santos to call and advise me that he was dropping the price for the trade-in by more than half. When I protested, the manager was put on the phone and tried to pressure me in to going forward with his revision. In an ethical business, a deal is a deal and agreements are not subject to unilateral and deleterious changes that favour only one party. Imagine the reaction at Markham Honda had I signed back the bill of sale at a lower value than agreed. It is my assertion that Santos acted with honour and that the manager has displayed odious ethical behaviour by reneging on the deal after agreement. Furthermore, this deprived Santos of an earned commission. More

When I sat down with her I told her that I was not ready to purchase yet, but wanted to test drive the truck because I've always wanted one but never had the need until now that I'm a dad with a 11 month old baby I was interested in a family adventuring vehicle. She understood that I wasn't in a rush to buy but gave me lots of time to discover the car for myself with my wife (even after extensive research online). We came back in the beginning of Sept to have a chat once I got my finances and research all in line and finally sat down to discuss the numbers. She did not pressure me into the sale and took time to understand my needs and to work with me on pricing of the truck and value for my trade in. Janice was very communicative when I texted her with questions and requests, and even looked into things for me on her day off. As we know during these covid times, it is hard for many people to make money, and my intention was to make sure I got a fair price and also that Janice would make a decent commission from helping me. I always try to be fair and considerate of those I interact with. In the end she did still have to speak with her Sales Manager Wilson Chan who came to discuss with me further. He was very open and honest about the deal and I really appreciate that about a sales person. **Not that I am ashamed but this is the most important part of the review** I don't have the best credit rating since my business closed a few years ago. Wilson called me personally and felt bad about the situation but said come back and he can try to help me out. Not just because they wanted the business but also to truly try to help and EARN my business. I came back with my wife who has awesome credit and we figured out the best solution together with Wilson. What I really appreciated was that he spoke to us like regular friends would, no BS just straight shooting. He understood our situation and gave us his knowledge and expertise based on his experience in the industry and his own ventures. In the end, I know we got a good deal for the Ridgeline and am happy that I was able to put a few bucks in their pockets too. We all have to remember that not all car sales people are bad, if we treat them fair they will do the same in return. Everyone needs to eat and take care of their families.
