No pressure sales... and ho haggle means just that. I asked for a $3.00 reduction in price, just so I could tell my Dad I haggled, but it was not possible. Not to worry, I was well informed on price before going to JP Motors, having looked at and compared prices for a few weeks on various online sites. I had just had the SUV for one day, but took it back, as I could not adjust the roof rack for the kayak. The staff were very helpful, and adjusted them for me right then. All the work that was promised was done prior to pickup; i.e., brakes were done, and heater fan fixed and they installed new tires. All in all, this was a good experience. I am a woman and had hesitations about attending a used car lot, but I am pleased to say I learned from the experience. More

Even when I was looking at cars in the upper end of my budget, he wasn't pushy or aggressive. Very down to earth and helpful. If you are going to JP, make sure you ask for Ed. He told me he's the only Ed on the lot, which I found hard to believe at a used car dealership, so just in case - it's Ed Firth. More

Before this purchase at the SUV/Truck division of JP motors I had only one. Joe the sales guy was straight with me, listened to what I wanted and made sure everything I requested would get done. That coupled with a fair price sealed the deal for me. The whole paperwork process was very efficient yet not rushed. Stella the business manager was pleasant and thorough with her explanation of the sales agreement and available options. The vehicle was nicely detailed and ready for me at the promised time. One very special thing I want to mention is that I called JP to see if they could provide a shuttle service for me so I could pick up the car when it was ready. Later that evening I received a call from Joe telling me that he would pick me up. I didn't realize it until he got to my house but he picked me up in his own car, on his own time while on his way to work! Now there's a gentleman who knows how to keep customers returning. All said and done, based on my experience I would definitely recommend dealing with JP Motors. More
Poor expereince Car had issues about 4 days into purchase. Excessive exhaust smoke, strong rattling from drivers side, wheel alignment off and the drivers side door was loose. Three service visits produced no results and after 30 days it's see you later. Had to replace the tires and align the wheel after trip to a Hyundai dealership and asked for the alignment cost to be covered and help to purchase new tires. I did not ask for money I asked to help get connected to a good merchant Ho motors uses. No on both. Five months later and the transmission is going . Hopefully the warranty I purchased works out. I have noticed other reviews where no motors reaches out when they are negative to address the concerns posted. I reached out without making a negative review and got nowhere. Overall disappointing experience that has become a financial and time consuming frustration. Nov.11, 2016 Thank you for identifying that you did not repair the issue and then when the warranty lapsed, cut ties. The response says you tried to fix the issue which means you acknowledge it but then go on to state there was no pre-existing issue. I'm not sure what policies your referencing but they don't seem to include completing the job identified during the warranty period. Comical Dec. 1st 2016 Again your response identifies a failure to actually fix my concerns within the 30 day warranty and then it's hands off. If my concerns could not be rectified then perhaps an offer to swap the vehicle for something without issues that could not be addressed would have been a progressive move. Thank you for the reminder about the excessive smoke and your service technicians report that it's "just from sitting on the lot for awhile or spilled oil from an oil change". Cost me more money but at least I had that issue diagnosed and fixed somewhere else. I didn't even ask for any help covering that. Ultimately it was a poor experience and I was left feeling abandoned with a vehicle of poor quality in terms of condition. More
