Could have gotten the same detailing in a regular car shop I was very disappointed by the level of service provided at Humberview volkswagen dealership. This was my first time getting my car detailed at this l I was very disappointed by the level of service provided at Humberview volkswagen dealership. This was my first time getting my car detailed at this location and after I was given the various detailing packages details over the phone. I had decided to go for the silver package which costs about 100$. I was assured that by dropping the car by 9 I would get it back for 4pm. B.S!!!! Not only did they give me back the car late (abt 1hr+ late) but the detailing was average. I could have gone to my next door car wash/detailing shop, paid half price and get a better job done. They were still strain on the leather seats and dust in the corners. Plus the carpet was still wet from the shampooing when I picked it up. I wanted to go back and complain for the service but was already late from picking up my kids from school so I had to leave right away. Even though I did mention to the dealer that they were late in delivering the car, I've received no apologies from management. Not worth 100$!!! The one positive was the shuttle guy Haden. He was a really nice guy! More

I was interested in possibly purchasing a new GTI, but wanted to drive one before purchasing (as I hadn’t had the pleasure of driving a GTI in more th I was interested in possibly purchasing a new GTI, but wanted to drive one before purchasing (as I hadn’t had the pleasure of driving a GTI in more than 15 years). The 2018 GTI is hard to come by, and after contacting 5 dealerships in the GTHA to be told repeatedly that there were none available to test drive, Hadi at Humberview was the only one to suggest that I drive a slightly older used model to get an idea of how it would drive. It was a great suggestion and I am pleased to report that I purchased a 2018 model as a result. I now have the car and couldn’t be happier! More

DO NOT GO HERE Called a few days ago to see if they could run a diagnostic and see if I can get my airbag light reset, as it had been on for a few days. I agreed to Called a few days ago to see if they could run a diagnostic and see if I can get my airbag light reset, as it had been on for a few days. I agreed to pay $99 for this diagnostic, and the lady on the phone while booking my appointment told me they could also do the safety for the car (currently driving on temporaries). I explained to the lady that I would only want the safety done if there was no issue with the airbag (because if there is an issue, it would fail the safety anyway). Once I got in for my appointment, Frank Sbrocchi explained that he would do the diagnostic for the airbag light, and only perform the safety if the airbag light was able to be reset/fixed. He had no problem with that, and gave the impression that my car was in good hands. When I returned a few hours later, the airbag light was not reset, and they diagnosed what was wrong with it (since it wasn't fixed, myself and anyone working there would know that the car would fail a safety insepction). They decided to do the safety inspection anyway, because apparently the document I signed did not indicate the conditions that Frank, as well as the receptionist and I agreed to. I have never felt so mislead by a company or by its agents. This meant that I had to pay $150 extra to find out something that I would have known from just doing the $99 diagnostic. There is a VW dealership at Dufferin and Eglinton, I have been there and the employees and mechanics are nothing but honest. Humberview on the other hand, is not going to help this company recover from its tarnished reputation/history of being unethical. Do not go here if you like dealing with honest and ethical workers. Awful customer service. Extortion/rip off! David was too busy ordering his lunch over the phone and once he hung up, couldn’t be bothered with me. I had ordered a license plate bracket and was told they would install it for me ( at no additional cost) quickly when I come to pick it up. I went today and David not only insinuated I was a liar but tried to charge me 65$+ to install it! What a RIP OFF. It’s people like David that that give car dealers a bad rep.I will go out of my way to go anywhere else next time. Very frustrated with my experience. More
