There is a lack of communication between the departments! Had three issues & at the end of the day, only two were finally resolved. Won't go into details as it is too drawn out. It would really be nice to know that when a person makes an appointment they don't have to rearrange their schedule three or four times to get things done. Makes me question if it's a good idea to go there for maintenance. More

Scott Shafer-Hyundai Guelph After a couple of months bouncing around Guelph looking at Nissan, Toyota, Honda, Ford and Hyundai products finally settled on Hyundai and Toyota. Had been with Toyota for 17yrs but the product., price and the professionalism of Scott Shafer won me and my wife over and we purchased our Elantra GL_GLS on Nov. 6 2015. Very satisfied with our first drive and Scott made the whole purchase process stress free and understandable. Highly recommend him and the "support" staff. More

Donny told me then that all I( needed was a oil; change and no mention of what else I would be missing, if anything, from the typical 132000 km service. Then at the end of the service he mentioned two things that will be necessary for proper maintenance of the car. But nothing was put in writing or attached to the bill as has happened in the past. Was this just an oversight or do I take the car to another dealer to determine the necessary repairs? More

terrible experience Have dealt with many dealerships over the years, never have I had such an awful experience as I did with the Guelph Hyundai. I went in to purchase a Have dealt with many dealerships over the years, never have I had such an awful experience as I did with the Guelph Hyundai. I went in to purchase a car I had my eye on, the salesman was extremely pushy and was pressuring me to purchase add ons when I clearly said several times I was not interested. When I finally got my point across that would not be buying add ons or extended warranty they sold me the car at a price that worked with my budget. When I picked the car up they added payment insurance to my purchase... which I did not agree to. I told them to remove it and they said it couldn't be removed and I couldn't take my car until I signed off. I was angry and upset as I felt so taken advantage of, they finally agreed that if I signed off then they would fill some paper work out later and cancel the additional insurance. I signed and drove off, half way home I noticed my gas light on! The salesman promised to fill the tank and clearly did not. I called the next day and explained that my tank was basically empty and the salesmen said their policy is that they are required to fill $30 minimum in the tank and that is what he did, so for a 45L tank (which costs $40 to fill) to be empty I called him on it. He refused to return my calls. I emailed the president of the dealership and he was very disgusted in the service and had his manager call me. The manager spent his time making excuses for his staff and that I went too far by going to the president. They said they would send me a gas card to make up for it, I never did receive it. Later that week I received paper work to cancel the payment insurance, I signed and sent them back. The finance agent at the dealership assured me he would submit the forms ASAP. I have sent email after email wanting confirmation that this has been done...with no reply. I finally called a different staff member who gave me the direct contact for the insurance company, to find out that the dealership never did submit my cancellation. I am soooo disgusted with this dealership and the poor service. I feel it necessary to advise anyone looking to purchase a hyundai not to purchase from guelph. More

Everything from the garage bay to the guest waiting room was very clean. I was also made to feel very welcome by all staff. Unfortunately, the guest WiFi was not working properly when I had some work to do. Ramsey and another staff person were very attentive and concerned about getting it up and running. However, it gave me an excuse to watch sports on the big screen. As well, had a nice coffee. The maintenance service took no more than 30 minutes, so that was great! Will go back again. More
