I went in to purchase a car I had my eye on, the salesman was extremely pushy and was pressuring me to purchase add ons when I clearly said several times I was not interested. When I finally got my point across that would not be buying add ons or extended warranty they sold me the car at a price that worked with my budget. When I picked the car up they added payment insurance to my purchase... which I did not agree to. I told them to remove it and they said it couldn't be removed and I couldn't take my car until I signed off. I was angry and upset as I felt so taken advantage of, they finally agreed that if I signed off then they would fill some paper work out later and cancel the additional insurance. I signed and drove off, half way home I noticed my gas light on! The salesman promised to fill the tank and clearly did not. I called the next day and explained that my tank was basically empty and the salesmen said their policy is that they are required to fill $30 minimum in the tank and that is what he did, so for a 45L tank (which costs $40 to fill) to be empty I called him on it. He refused to return my calls. I emailed the president of the dealership and he was very disgusted in the service and had his manager call me. The manager spent his time making excuses for his staff and that I went too far by going to the president. They said they would send me a gas card to make up for it, I never did receive it. Later that week I received paper work to cancel the payment insurance, I signed and sent them back. The finance agent at the dealership assured me he would submit the forms ASAP. I have sent email after email wanting confirmation that this has been done...with no reply. I finally called a different staff member who gave me the direct contact for the insurance company, to find out that the dealership never did submit my cancellation. I am soooo disgusted with this dealership and the poor service. I feel it necessary to advise anyone looking to purchase a hyundai not to purchase from guelph. More

Bend over time for service Arrived for my scheduled appointed for an oil change and tire rotation which I was told would take 45 minutes. 1/2 hour later was told i needed a cabi Arrived for my scheduled appointed for an oil change and tire rotation which I was told would take 45 minutes. 1/2 hour later was told i needed a cabin filter, fuel injector service and 4 wheel alignment. Can't believe that with low mileage and no uneven wear it is required but told them to do it. was told would be an hour. 2 1/2 hours later was told it was almost finished. I read over my invoice when I got home and the injector service is a Wynn's system chemical flush. $130 labour & $59.99 parts. When I got in my vehicle there was a full can of Wynn's Power Charge ( which after googling is for injector cleaning) I guess the $130 labour was supposed to come to me to pour in. Have been trying to speak to a service manager but no one will return calls. I guess this is how they can afford the new building, will definitely look for somewhere else to have my servicing done and a different manufacturer when i need my next vehicle. If the additive was to be put in for less than a tank why was it not added as I only had 1/4 tank, poor excuses for poor service. More

Every other new car dealer I have ever dealt with has washed the exterior of the vehicle after servicing it More

Somewhat dissapointed Took my Tucson with 10,000 Km on the clock in for the fall special. A simple oil change on a 2.4 li 4 cylinder engine with regular oil, a tire rotation and inspection cost $99 plus tax. The special offer included a wireless Bluetooth speaker which was not available so I was given a wind up lantern instead. Car was ready in under an hour, so no problem there. Upon returning home my husband checked the oil level and commented that the oil was discoloured, meaning they did not drain it fully and there was some old oil left in the oil pan. After only a few km, the oil should be clear. Even though the car was clean; for future reference; we asked if the package include a car wash and was informed that it is not included with a service. Other dealerships do provide this service. More
