In all my years of dealing with various dealers I have never had such good service like I got here. The parts arrived quickly and he helped me out some more. The service manager Dan, was the fellow who does the programming of the stuff there and I was further astounded by the great service he provided as well. I had read and heard of people having bad experiences there but it must have been the attitude of the customer that caused their problems, I found Dealing with both Chris and Dan to be a very pleasant experience. He spent about an hour and a half showing my wife and motherinlaw the vehicles we were interested in. We made a decision, and presented a fair offer. That's when things got weird. We were told by the sales guy that the colour we wanted in the 2016 model was on a boat and would be here in 4 weeks. We said that was fine, we would buy today and wait for it. He takes the offer to his manager, then comes back and says we can have one of the floor models for that price, but they want $500 more for the one on a boat. I countered with a bit more money, but they wouldn't budge. So we went across town to the other dealer and got the exact car/colour we wanted at the price we had offered Centaur. While trying to negotiate, the salesman used all the standard lines that I've heard and read before. I'm not unexperienced or stupid, but it appeared that he thought I was one or the other. Telling me he only gets $100 to sell a new Subaru. If that's all he makes, he should look for other employment. Who has 2016 models arriving by boat in the fall of 2016? If you are reading this, you know a dealer can spin the numbers a lot of different ways, so it's hard to argue. But the sales guy insisted that the dealer was only going to make $600 by selling me this vehicle. I said if dealers only made that, they couldn't pay him, or the rest of their overhead. And finally, they let me walk out the door without countering my counter - and we were only $300 apart. That leads me to believe that there was most likely not a boat with our car on it. Two hours later we paid cash for the vehicle we wanted. It's not a great economy here right now, and pushing sales out your door, and over to your competitor, seems rather short sighted. More

One of the tires was losing pressure and I went there on Friday to get it checked. I was told that they were packed and I could get an appointment for Monday. I booked an appointment and when I went there, I was told that it will take about 1-1.5 hours as there are others in front of me. When I asked what does appointment mean then I was told that it just means that at that time I can drop of my car. This is the most absurd appointment system I have ever come across. If I have to drop of my car and wait for car in front of me then why do I need an appointment. Anyways, I agreed to wait in dealership while they check my tire. After about 2 hours, my car was still not pulled into the shop and when I asked how much longer would it take, I was told that there are 2 cars ahead of me and some of the technicians are out for lunch. So they had no clue how much more time it will take. After 2 hours, I had to leave with my tire still not fixed. This was all when I had an appointment booked. This is the worst customer service I have seen in my whole life. More
Dissatisfied Service Customer I recently brought in my fleet Forester for service and assure you I WILL NOT be back. As customer service continues to dwindle in society I thought the auto industry continued to one of the last industries to value customer service, loyalty and experience. My complaint is two fold 1) Service hours starting at 8am, really!! Having booked an 8am appt and then having to wait my turn for the sole person on your service desk with 5 people waiting their turn! 2) Finding out while there that you do not offer return pick up services BUT you are kind enough to provide transit fare and then require pick up before 5:30 is absolutely unbelievable and appalling. I work from home in a newer neighborhood with limited services and therefore took a cab to get my vehicle in a timely fashion in order to do my job and I could not do this fast enough. I am now writing the service dept as this is the only address given to me to write this concern. No other options to get this closer to the Williams family (found on the internet but no where in the dealership) whom I believe still own this dealership. I previously mentioned that this is a fleet vehicle BUT I am also a car owner and this was not an experience I expected or deserved in a day and age. More

The service departmentt told me to book an appointment for a faulty sensor which would occur in 2 weeks. I asked for immediate assistance and they said that I could leave the car but could not guarantee that they would get to it. What happened to stepping up to the plate in situations that call for excellence of service that leave a lasting good impression instead of walking off dumfounded that they just don't care . Selling the car and going back to Hyundai who always go out of their way to assist. More

AVOID at all cost!!! I bought a Forester from this so called' Family' owned and operated dealership. First, they sneak in an additional several hundred $ charge for a win I bought a Forester from this so called' Family' owned and operated dealership. First, they sneak in an additional several hundred $ charge for a window sticker and VIN etching that one can do for $20. Paper hidden in the purchase package. Hesitation problem within few months... driver is blamed for not driving aggressively!!! Took 18 months to identify defective fuel injector. All warranty work but terrible inconvenience. Suspect they intentionally did not fix it early to get paid by Subaru...Cash Cow!!!. Any car can come with a problem... but not fixing it for 18 months after several visits definitely indicates that dealership does not care and is incompetent. Another very telling example: Very first oil change ,....by the time I drove 10k to home half of the oil was gone.. drain plug was not even hand tightened. Car comes out very dirty and greasy after every visit. Charge for wind shield fluid top up is twice the price of a gallon container and was not requested any how. Air filter casing was not re-installed properly by them and they try to charge an additional $32 just to tighten a screw to fix it. And many many more very unpleasant and upsetting experiences (All Documented !). Go out of town for your purchase and go to All Makes for service.... same price but honest respectful treatment and service. The Problem: SUBARU is a very good car and it sells itself. Centaur takes advantage of this feature and do not care to make any improvement to the quality of service and customer care. More
Bereft of ethics I unfortunately purchased my first new vehicle from Centaur. It turned out to be quite a lemon with a couple major component failures within the fist I unfortunately purchased my first new vehicle from Centaur. It turned out to be quite a lemon with a couple major component failures within the fist nine months of ownership. Some salespeople will tell you that there is no such thing as a lemon or a Friday build any more due to QC within modern factories. However when the lead mechanic working on your vehicle, while out for a smoke tells you that you are unlucky enough to have a lemon, I am prone to believe the gentleman that works on the front on the industry. I had to take the dealership to arbitration through CAMVAP since so much went wrong so quickly. I asked the dealer previous to taking this measure to take my car for a week or a month and iron out the deficiencies no matter how long it took. They said NO because Subaru would not support the labour costs associated with doing that. During the arbitration, when the Subaru representative from their Canadian office was in attendance, I brought this notion up to him. He replied that he would gladly take the vehicle until the issues were resolved, he would be happy to help that way. The "gentleman" representing the dealership denied any knowledge of being asked to take the car for as long as it took. Even though I have the Time, date and subject of the phone call recorded. This dealership as a whole demonstrated a lack of professionalism, ethics and honesty that left me aghast. I am sad that I can not rate them less than one star on this site. More
