The car sales man I was assigned to was Wade Kerr, and he did a great job at introducing me to the vehicle and giving me enough time to think about whether I wanted to purchase the vehicle or not. The price of the vehicle was competitive with its surroundings and due to the great customer service, I really didn't want to go anywhere else. Once the deal was signed, I was transferred over to Richard Brault in order to take care of the financing. Richard treated me very well, and discussed with me various options for the vehicle. Safety was one of his main concerns, therefore he highly recommended to get an extended vehicle warranty which I'm happy I got. Overall, everyone I dealt with at Car-On Auto were knowledgable of their field and very friendly. Thank you for the excellent service, Mateo More
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE you NEEEEED to read this before going I would like to start this on a positive note and say that the only helpful and trustworthy person to work here is Sean Ingham And the rest is crap I would like to start this on a positive note and say that the only helpful and trustworthy person to work here is Sean Ingham And the rest is crap Where do i start...... I bought a 2010 used Hyundai genesis coupe. When i test drove it there was a small vibration in the steering wheel when pressing on the breaks(PROB 1). There were some "christmas tree" lights in the dash (PROB 2) the key fob was not working with the driver side door therefor i had to unlock it with the key(PROB 3). And there was also a piece missing from the passanger door handle (PROB 4) When we signed the papers to buy the car we were told that they needed to do a safety test since the car had only been in the lot for a couple days and that they would fix anything needed to be fixed including PROB 1,2, and 3 PROB 4 had been "fixed"(remember this one) before signing the papers. they told us that the car would be ready for pick-up on the Tuesday (we bought it on Wednesday) After impatiently waiting for a call on Tuesday morning i called to ask if my car would be ready that day, They answered saying that a piece for the Breaks had not come in yet and they needed it so the car would pass the safety. (don't even think of them lending me a car since i had sold my other car on the Monday) Once they called me saying that the car was ready i went over to the dealership and was exited to pick it up to drive it around. they then told me that i could use it for the weekend but they would need to work on it for another week because they had not yet started on the dash lights and key fob. (xxx!!!!!!) I brought it after the weekend so they could get things done it, i had drove up to Montreal and back that weekend with it and came back with a list of problems for them. i went on a test drive to show them that the struts on both sides seemed to be shot (PROB 5) the rear passenger Triangle window was leaking when it rained. (PROB 6) and when accelerating the whole car would vibrate over 90km/h (PROB 7). When we got back from the test drive the service rep told me to open my trunk because he felt like the noise coming from the front of the car(my struts) was probably just the jack that was loose in my trunk (DO I LOOK LIKE AND IDIOT BUDDY). When i asked the guy long i should expect them to have the car he told me about a week, i then asked if i could get a loaner car because i needed to get to and back from work everyday. NOOOOOOOOT (why would you ever do a favour for the customer). After a about 10 days they called me back and said that the car was ready. i got a ride to the dealership only to find out that ready only meant PROB 7 was fixed ( take note that so far only PROB 1 and PROB 7 are fixed) (PROB 4 is also fixed at this time but we will get back to that a bit later) I then waited a couple weeks before receiving a call(one of the service managers told me there were cars they needed to get out of the lot that were purchased after mine, guess I'm not important) from them saying that i could bring the car back to the shop the next day and that it would take them about 45 minutes to fix the door and the dash lights. HE SPECIFICALLY SAID YOU COULD WAIT IN THE WAITING ROOM WHILE WE GET IT DONE BECAUSE IT WONT TAKE VERY LONG. i brought the car in the next day at the time they asked me to. 2 hours and 45 minutes later after standing in there small showroom with nowhere to sit and no one offering me anything or giving me any updates i had to ask how much longer it would be till my car was ready and tell the guy that i was told it would only be 45 minutes. he came out 15 minutes later with the keys and said "sorry we couldn't get it done" (WWWWWWWWWWWWWTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) could you not of told me that about 2 hours ago. I stormed out of that place so fast the door almost broke when i shut it behind me. while on my way home i called the manager and explained him the whole story, he said he would call me back about an hour later and that he was gonna talk to his staff about the problem. the next morning i had to call him back because he never tried calling me.(they never call back i always had to call for updates) he told me to bring the car in that week (AGAIIIIN) and he would go over the problems that the car had with me. So i opened my schedule up just for them once again a couple days later and went to talk to the manager. i gave him a list of all the problems that the car still had in detail and he said to me "ok we will set up a day were our staff will work only on your car until it is fixed. Problems still needed to be fixed: Lights in dash (specifically traction control light and abs light) key fob front struts (that they blamed on the jack in the trunk LOL) rear passenger window leaking (triangle window) and there was also a tail light full of condensation that came up at one point (can't remember when) and by then had not been fixed. So we set up a day for them to fix my car. i got the call that the car was ALL DONE at about 3 pm so i went to pick it up. when i arrived no one spoke to me other than my sales rep Sean who i have had absolutely no problems with and he went to get my car for me. i drove away happy finally the car was fixed. NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!........the struts were still shot, and the window was still leaking. At this point i promised myself i would never step foot in that place ever again. Now lets fast forward to now ( about 2 and a half months later) my struts still rattle, my window still leaks, the tail light is full of condensation again (meaning they temporarily fixed it. <---- you will notice a common theme soon) and now there are some other problems that have come up. lets start with the wheel bearing..... approximately 1 month after all of this my wheel hub/bearing started grinding like crazy! i brought the car to Hyundai (no way i was going back to car-on) and they told me that the wheel bearing was no good but that they were confused because usually on this type of car the traction control light and the abs light comes on with a bearing/hub goes bad. well look at that it seems like car on might of just cleared the sensor so that they wouldn't have to fix my wheel bearing (another temporary fix!) and now with the door handle.....remember how i said that the door handle was broken and that they had fixed it by the time i had signed the papers (same day as viewing the car) wellll the same handle was broken in the same spot about 2 days ago. i looked at the handle and noticed that what holds that part of the handle and the door together is a little nut witch is usually attached to the handle, the nut was still inside the door and on the nut and where the nut usually goes there was some glue that they had put on there to fix it temporarily without me knowing (now i know how they were able to get the piece so fast and paint it (i was informed by hyundai that it only comes in black and needs to be painted before installation) the moral of this story is that these guys either have no idea what there doing or they are looking to get the most for there money. they are not to be trusted at all. The man who helped me (Wade) was extremely friendly and informative. What I loved most is that they give you a fair price for your vehicle and they don't push you to buy. I'm definitely going to be returning over and over, car after car. Thanks guys!! More
