Mixed Feelings, for sure. I visited this place after hours on Sunday, June 10th, 2018. The next day, I went in and asked about the truck as it was no longer in their parking lo I visited this place after hours on Sunday, June 10th, 2018. The next day, I went in and asked about the truck as it was no longer in their parking lot. It took them quite some time to find the thing (lol) but after they FINALLY located it, I was able to test drive it. I was not impressed with the route they take you on as you are unable to truly drive the vehicle to its potential as the posted speed limits are 50 and 60KM. The whole process took 2 weeks to complete and communication with them during that time left some to be desired. Someone had put nearly 400km on it during this time. The paperwork and key tag had x-amount of KM's listed and the odometer had a LOT more than that. They do get plates and registration done for you however, I get less than a year before they're due, because of where my birthday falls. I took it to my trusted (certified) mechanic and nothing out of the ordinary was found for it being a 6 year old vehicle, He determine that the vehicle has been in an accident, no matter that CarProof having none reported. He showed me the places under the truck where there are missing clips on the fenders as well as official GMC stickers. There are missing decals from GMC that are usually on the radiator cover, that tells you engine size, oil type and various other information. The new parts are slightly misaligned. He also pointed out the rusted out hole in the exhaust (after market, not stainless steel). The biggest thing for me though, is that the brakes are spooky...I have no other way to describe them to you. Front brakes have new pads and rotors. Back brakes (drums) have new lines going to them. They are Very noisy! And what makes me say "spooky" is that when you brake with the weight of the truck behind it, it produces a low, almost organic, grinding sensation that is felt through your foot on the pedal, through the steering wheel and can be heard over even the loudest of music! These noises will happen after you drive it for a bit. If you jump in and use the brakes right away, they're fine. I honestly cannot afford to pay a guy 100 bucks an hour to chase down brake noise. I dealt with Sunpreet; he was nice enough, knew all the things to say. I do wish to point out however, that when dealing with " a couple", please do not assume it will be the man buying! First contact, I was disregarded due to bringing a friend with me. Not a huge deal, some people are brought up and/or trained differently. The person with all the paperwork, she was professional and to the point, which I like. Cheers, Prab. And finally, the lady who actually passed the vehicle off to me, Cassie (I think) she was cool too! The reasons I am rating this business so low are: -Sold a vehicle as 'accident free" when it had, in fact, been in one -Mysterious kilometers on it between the test-drive and delivery -Being told that if I paint LineX/Rhino Liner on fenders, wheel wells, rocker panels, it will void the warranty -One of the key fobs does not work -The brakes!
