I found a vehicle onlin I just want to start my review by saying that my salesman (Chevar) was amazing and he has nothing to do with this review. I found a vehicle online I wanted to see. Suganya in customer service contacted me after I inquired via auto trader, which was fine. I told her I was driving from a distance away and that I also had a vehicle that I was trading in so I wanted to make sure that I wasnt going to be lowballed before I hit the highway. She provided me with an unseen appraisal amount which I felt was fair so off I went. Upon arrival to the dealership I met with Suganya who passed me off to Chevar. Chevar was great, he helped me take out my car seat and try it in new vehicle, he gave me a ton of info and he was extremely patient with my son. I was pretty set on the vehicle, I asked if price was negotiable they said no, I continued and left my deposit as there arent many options in the vehicle I am looking for. I spoke with the finance manager, Jordash (unsure how his name is spelled) who said I would deal with him when I came back to get an appraisal of the vehicle I was planning on trading in. Left a deposit and off I went. Next morning, literally next morning, a similar car (only different in color) pops up on autotrader at a different dealership for a cheaper price. I contact Suganya right away (9am) and ask her about ways to get my deposit back as I found a better deal, asking if I had to come in or could they send it electronically... she says shes not sure she will ask a finance manager and let me know. She does not offer any other alternatives (better deal, etc). I advised her that I had found a better deal and I was aware that they don't haggle, she re-iterated they don't haggle, ok no problem. 2 hours later I havent heard back from her so I call back, she doesn't answer. I call again and ask for a finance manager and no one answers there either. Irritated now I drive down to the dealership to get my deposit back as I cant get anyone on the phone now. I get to the dealership, same finance manager comes over, asks me why I put a deposit on the car if I didnt want it? Told him the deal I found just popped up this morning and actually, as the deal wasnt set in stone my reason for wanting my deposit back wasn't important. So here I am, with my 4 year old hanging off me and simultaneously throwing himself all over the floor, I am visibily irritated and have said several times I just want my desposit back, here is where I get the interrogation. Now the finance manager is looking up the deal I found and he is nitpicking it, saying it doesnt have this or that, meanwhile the listing wasnt completely updated on autotrader and I had gotten all my information directly from the other dealership. This continues for a few minutes while my son is throwing himself on the floor and I am standing there like an idiot almost begging for a refund. Finally the finance manager goes to me "Is there anything we can do for you?" BINGO -- NOW you ask me what you can do for me after I was completely ignored in the morning and had to drive over and hour back down there. Well unfortunately you could have offered me the car for free and I wouldnt have taken it. Maybe if I was properly advised in the morning by Suganya "if there was anything they could do to keep my business" then I wouldnt be standing 2 feet across from you demanding a refund. I did get my refund but the dealership left an awful taste in my mouth. BTW - the deal I got was for the same type of car except fully loaded (with premium sound system) and a NAV which the manager insisted it didnt have. Oh and 4 thousand dollars less. Thanks but no thanks. More
