I am so upset with the position i am in because of what happened to me at the Carp rd car club location ,i will start at the beginning and i hope someone sees this , i was asked to be a guarantor for a friend of mine who had a low credit score , i agreed upon understanding what responsibility of a guarantor was , and that I would not be responsible if anything happened , upon the managers request and also trusted that I would be fully under stood about what I was signing , long story short I signed those documents under False prétences , if this is read and wants further information about what happened , i will gladly go into more détail , now I am in position of the véhicule that’s causing me financial strain , I’ll add one more thing , when I found out what the true purpose of what a guarantor was and not what I was told, I called Hichem the manager of the car club , on Carp rd location , and when I told him and that I wanted the deal squashed he said he would , the véhicule was still on the lot , he had the Power as the seller not to let the deal go through , then I find out he didn’t , so he lied to me , as the manager if a business , customers should be able to trust the person who’s selling them any véhicule , I asked Hichem for à Little assistance and now he won’t Even respond to me , I’m not sure who will be reading this but I believe this is a situation that needs to be addressed , because of what happened to ne I’m having a hard time trusting anyone anymore.

My husband bought a new 2025 Dodge Ram yesterday and his experience with Ashton and the team was outstanding. Ashton was attentive to his needs and wants. He went out of his way to ensure Blake received outstanding customer service in a respectful manner. Delivery of the vehicle was timely and the detailing was excellent. Pickup service was outstanding. Definitely a seamless process, Blake could not be more impressed with the service he received from Pembroke Chrysler. Highly recommend this dealer and Ashton’s customer service.

My air con stopped working. Had to pay $250. for a diagnostic and was quoted $1700. to fix it. I declined. Went to another garage and it was totally fixed for under $200. Returned to get my tires changed over as I had stored my tires there. Made a 9 am appt as I had a 10:30 meeting to attend. An hour later my car hadn't even been brought in. Like a Seinfeld episode, they know how to take an appt but not how to keep an appt. When I complained they said I could just get my tires back and leave, which I happily did. I do not recommend this service department.

Looks like they just want money. I had to get $350 worth of work done and before I even stood up from the service desk they are telling me I “immediately need” another $500 of work done. No heads up during a previous visit, nothing. I even heard the service guys laughing about tricking a lady into getting an alignment. DISGUSTING.

We spent almost two weeks negotiating a Ford F-150 Raptor. We gave all trade-in info, made several follow-up calls, and paid a deposit to secure the truck. The dealership even placed a “SOLD” sign with our name on the vehicle. After days of excuses and delays, we discovered on Dec. 2 that they had sold the truck to someone else. Completely unacceptable and a serious failure in professionalism.

I placed a $1,000 deposit on a vehicle and later decided not to proceed after feeling pressured to sign documents without adequate time to read or understand them. I was told verbally that the paperwork was not the final contract, which later turned out to be inaccurate. After requesting to cancel, communication became extremely slow and inconsistent. I was repeatedly told that a manager would contact me, but days and weeks passed without follow-up. I had to keep reaching out through chat, email, and phone calls with little clarity. Eventually, I was informed that my deposit cannot be refunded and can only be applied to another vehicle, even though I explained that I would not be purchasing for several months. This was never clearly explained upfront. Overall, the experience lacked transparency, timely communication, and customer care. I would strongly advise future customers to take their time, read everything carefully, and not feel rushed to sign anything. I hope management reviews how cancellations and deposits are handled to avoid putting other customers in the same situation.

I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. I purchased a used car and noticed during the test drive that the vehicle displayed an oil change reminder. When I picked up the car, the reminder had been cleared, which led me to believe the oil had been changed. However, later that same day, I received a warning that the engine oil level was very low. When I contacted the dealership, they admitted they hadn’t changed the oil but had simply reset the notification—without informing me. This lack of transparency and basic responsibility is extremely disappointing. Never trusting this dealership again.

Ensure you ask for Ethan Yang! We are from Sarnia, Malik was horrible and had stood us up from meeting on a Saturday August 2 2025, he did not let us know the dealership was closed for the long weekend. We had appeared on the lot one more time on 20 Sep after visiting so many other dealerships and I already vowed not to deal with Malik. Out walks Ethan Yang, a nicely dressed, eager and presentable young man. Ethan greatly assisted us and went out of his way to answer all questions we had, the first person in the Sarnia - London area to answer our question on which package do we need for the options we wanted (simply it was to get a powered passenger front seat, now identified as in the SL1 package, no white and no black trucks). He meticulously has us test drive various trucks with various options to ensure we had the right truck for us. Ethan then worked diligently with Dan Mock to get us the best deal we could possibly have made. I really couldn't have asked for a better salesman to assist us in this purchase. Ethan really saved the day here for us, he does deserve a huge pat on the back from his company, he took us from not wanting to deal with this company to making a sale. This is an amazing story of how one person can turn another off of a company then another can really place the company back in the limelight.

WORST DEALERSHIP EVER. Dalton at the Guelph Wellington motors made it seem like he was giving us a good deal but scammed us 40 thousand extra. He promised us it would be 38 thousand dollars and it ended up being 68 thousand !!! He said it was the best for my credit and my options. A single mom of 3. Payments are 400 BY WEEKLY !! Don’t go there !!! Scams. They don’t care to help. They just want financial gain.

Seriously bad customer service, highly not recommended. Got the time to inspect a car when reached person was not available and no one else could show the car. Waited for the sales person to come back and when he came back rather coming to us he started chatting with his colleagues. When we approached him he handed us over the keys and disappeared. As we didn’t like the car we handed over the keys back and asked about a car parked in next spot. When he told me the price I just said that it seems like higher than market price and sales person rather trying to explain me why it is priced higher than market started telling me that you have no clue about that car and you should not even looking at and left us there with a comment that go on web and if you find a better price of same model I will give it to you. Based on that challenge I sent him a same model car from another dealer and he said ok I will talk to my manager. The sales person was rude and unprofessional highly not recommended.

The car in warranty and service is denied with a manufacturing defect that I got done from another dealership. never returned to such a dealership. We had nothing but trouble with our 2018 Ford Escape. In March 2025, we paid for an extensive diagnosis and then almost $7000 in repairs. Two months later they said the car needed another $5000 in repairs. We decided instead to trade it in. Luckily the dealership had a Mazda on the lot. The negotiation was questionable at best (they said one thing but at the last minute put in a different number for our trade-in value) but we ultimately traded in ourFord for the Mazda. The final straw was when I went to pick up the Mazda - they charged me over $400 for the diagnosis of the problems with the Ford I was trading in. They needed to diagnose it anyway and so essentially I paid for that. Don't buy a FORD and if you do, don't use this dealership.

BUYER BEWARE!! DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM ICAR THUNDERBAY!!!! This summer I purchased a 2019 Elantra with 40 000 kms on it from ICAR. The car appeared to be in good condition and with low milage. When I brought my car to the carwash however, I barely started to spray the hood and a bunch of paint just wiped off my car. I contacted the sales rep that sold me the car and he said that it was my fault for bringing the car to the car wash. I then went to an auto repair shop and they confirmed that there was definitely something wrong with the paint and that bringing it to the car wash should not have taken off the paint as described. I then emailed the sales rep that sold me the car. He again told me it was my fault for washing my car at the carwash, even though I barely sprayed it, but said that if I got a second quote to fix the paint, they would see what they could do to help me get it fixed. He also claimed that they care about my experience with them and want to help me fix this issue ( LMDAO) . I then sought out a second opinion and quote at a different auto repair shop. I was told by the second car repair shop that not only was it not my fault that the paint came off, and that unless I was holding the pressure washer directly against the paint ( which obviously I did not do), then there was no reason for the paint to come off and clearly there was a defect in the paint. Every single car owner brings their car to the carwash and the paint doesn’t come off like that. This car repair expert told me to just keep contacting the people who sold me the car, because it clearly was a defect with the paint. I have since sent in this quote to icar and they have decided to just ignore my emails and refuse to acknowledge this issue further. My partner has been looking to buy his own vehicle and was interested in a car at icar but has since changed his mind, seeing how they have been treating me. Again, do not buy a car from ICAR THUNDERBAY, I regret trusting them, now I am going to be out an additional 1500$ to repair the paint, when I am already overpaying for the car I got. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE< DON’T FALL FOR IT> THEY WILL NOT ASSIST YOU IF YOU FIND SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE CAR YOU BUY FROM THEM >

Purchased a vehicle from them "as is" mind you. Took it to my garage to have it checked out and it passed safety. They didn't offer any warranty on the vehicle and the general manager seemed adamant about the fact that he bears no responsibility on this vehicle after its left. After about 2.5 months of owning this vehicle and driving it, the misfires began. I'm somewhat good with cars, so I pulled the codes, and got to work. Replaced Battery, Alternator, Sparks, Injectors, two oil changes, and paid to have Canadian Tire for labor of installing it. After I was completely fed up with dealing with this vehicle I gave up and took it to another Dodge dealership (Village Chrysler), who were very transparent, and quickly found that the down-leak test found 70% leak. They said repair costs would be close to what I bought the car at ($7500), and that I'd be better off replacing the engine. The engine always ran slightly rough at idle, but I thought it was minor. I'm sure they knew this when selling me this car, but clearly wanted to get rid of this car without replacing the engine, or putting in the hours to replace the heads, lifters, and rockers, so they though let's pawn it off to some sucker. Very disappointed with this dealership. I've done much business here, especially service for years. Will never be returning to this location. Steer away. Complete scam. The salesperson tried to privately warn me that nothing to good to be true is. I should've keyed in on that.

When I was looking for my GTR I was told "Go see Chuck, He knows GTR's and is an expert" When I met Chuck we discussed my needs/wants and he went off to do his thing. He found my car in Calgary and made the 'maiden voyage' to inspect the car and close the sale. There is no other dealership on this planet that will go this far for any one person or a sale. The car has been a blast to drive. To date, a year later, the car has no issues, and smokes most cars on the road. Thank you Chuck for going above and beyond to get me the car I always wanted. Let's start looking for another "toy!"
