It was costing us a lot to keep it on the road, and Nissan's after warranty parts are ridiculous in cost! Nissan, you will never, ever get me back as a customer (nor will Chrysler, Hyundai, Ford, Mitsubishi, Subaru or GMC/Chev)! Frustrated, we decided to buy a RAV4 to replace it. (Toyota builds the RAV 4 and Corolla in Canada, as well as the Lexus RX350 and RX450 (Lexus is also Toyota). Honda builds the CRV and Civic here. Never owned a Honda, but I would try them no problem! As you know from the news, GM and Ford are leaving Canada, and Chrysler will stop building their vans here soon. Nissan does not build here, nor do any other car companies. But they want us to buy their vehicles? Ultimately, I personally, do not want to support companies that will not support our own workers in our own county! And I don't want to support Trump or the USA Donald's tariffs! In any case, I got in touch with Sandy at Toyota on the Trail, and he immediately began to work with me to find a deal that we could both be happy with. A few days later my wife and I met with Sandy and his great sales representative, Sammy Bellamer, where we agreed to a deal in which we traded in the Pathfinder, and took possession of a 2019 RAV4 Limited. Everything that Sandy told me prior to us meeting with him was truthful and up front. (As we were we with him). Sandy had integrity from the start, and followed through with everything that they said they would do. Sammy was more than fantastic to work with. He is a great kid! (Sorry, I’m old) During this time, I had been dealing with four other dealerships trying to get a price before I went the their store, but this dealership was the first to give us a reasonable price and trade in value, on their very first offer. Naturally, other dealerships offered a better deal once they found out that we were buying somewhere else and what we were paying, but we refused, because we only wanted to deal with Toyota on the Trail, because they offered the first "best" deal, and they stuck with it. I trusted them, and they more then lived up to that trust. Good for you Sandy, Sammy and Toyota on the Trail! PS I just bought a 2019 Tundra to replace my 2014 Tundra, from this company, so more to follow once the deal completes. More

Horrible Experience..Worse Toyota Dealership in Canada I purchased a 2017 Toyota Rav 4 online ..We finalized a price and I gave then $1000 deposit..They informed me no extra fees.. I got a bus 5 hrs to Edm I purchased a 2017 Toyota Rav 4 online ..We finalized a price and I gave then $1000 deposit..They informed me no extra fees.. I got a bus 5 hrs to Edmonton with a bank draft over $22,000.00 to purchase the vehicle..upon arrival..they infomed me that extra work was done on the Rav 4 total $1585.00 and this would have to be added onto the cost or they would not sell the vehicle..I had a signed Bill Of Sale and they said the assistant sales manager who made the deal was gone in the mountains with no cell phone coverage..It as a total bunch of garbage..you cannot trust these guys..worst Toyota buying experience after 47yrs of buying vehicles..We got the deposit back after waiting 2 hrs and had to arrange a ride 5 hrs home with no compensation..I will for sure inform all my fiends/relatives ect never to purchase from Toyota On The Trail!!! Sam got the job done. Sam was knowledgeable, attentive, and personable. The only issue I had was the reluctance to honor the Go Auto Card. Read the fine print. From start to fi My husband and I purchased his dream vehicle- a 2018 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport a few weeks ago. Our Product Advisor was Abdallah Hayek. From start to finish, he made the process so easy. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle, made suggestions that were in-keeping with what we desired and delivered on all his promises. He was friendly and made us feel valued- one of the best qualities of good customer service. We were shocked to hear that he is relatively new to the organization. His knowledge of the runnings of Toyota and sales was exceptional. He (and others) made our experience great! The vehicle is all we hoped for and more! We will be back, and have already told our family and friends of the exceptional service. More
False advertising, non-current CarFax report, and ripoffs!!! I went to Toyota on the Trail Jan. 17 or 18, 2019 after the purchase of another GoAuto VW Golf failed due to the vehicle delivered having 8,000 more k I went to Toyota on the Trail Jan. 17 or 18, 2019 after the purchase of another GoAuto VW Golf failed due to the vehicle delivered having 8,000 more kilometers on the odometer, than the vehicle we purchased, etc., etc., etc. At Toyota on the Trail, I attempted to purchase the 2018 Toyota Corolla iM stock #PW0408, advertised on their web site as having only 340 kilometers. Scam #1 - was when GoAuto added $500 onto the purchase agreement for their own anti-theft engraving that I outright refused, and the previous owner had already paid for. Web Link to CBC News removed Some Alberta auto dealers are adding hundreds of dollars to the negotiated price of the vehicles they sell, extras that buyers were told they had to pay, even though they are optional. Scam #2 - I am a previous GoAuto customer and should receive a $500 reduction for loyalty purchase. Declined because the car was for my wife. Web Link to Go Auto, gocard removed Save $500 off the second car you buy from Go Auto (and the third, and the fourth, etc.) Scam #3 - I should have received the $500 credit for referring a new customer, that you hear on the radio a thousand times a day. Declined because this does not apply to family members. Web Link to Go Auto, gocard removed Share your referral code with family and friends. All they have to do is present your code to their salesperson when purchasing their vehicle. A point I should mention. The above discounts or rewards were no problem. They were no problem as long as it was verbal, when I insisted they be put in writing on the purchase agreement, they were declined. Scam #4 - The CarFax report for this car indicated that it was sold last fall. I questioned how a car sold last fall only had 340 kilometers on it? I was told the car "MAY HAVE A FEW THOUSAND MORE KILOMETER ON IT THEN WAS SHOWN ON THE WEBSITE" If this is not false advertising, I don't know what is. As with the first GoAuto vehicle we purchased and cancelled, Toyota on the Trail told me the car only came with one key and we would have to pay for the second key. Toyota on The Trail ..... ABSOLUTELY, WOULD NOT SELL ME THAT CAR AT THE ADVERTISED PRICE, with no additions, or any GoAuto discounts. IF YOU WANT TO GET HOSED, BUY FROM GOAUTO. More
