Warm, welcoming, enthusiastic and knowledgeable, he approaches his clients with the perfect balance of humour and professionalism. Where many in the industry seek to "sell you" a car - Kenny commits to finding his clients the right fit for their needs. Everyone I met with (from reception to management, financing to service management) were a pleasure to deal with. I'll certainly be a continuing customer. More
A Dealership with a Heart. Nine months ago, I bought a Sonata from another dealer. I have always had the car serviced at Thornhill Hyundai. When I had an “issue” with the car I Nine months ago, I bought a Sonata from another dealer. I have always had the car serviced at Thornhill Hyundai. When I had an “issue” with the car I spoke to Mimi Saniasy, the Service Department Supervisor. She was always very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. She escalated the situation to Adriano Porcarelli the Fixed Operations Manager. Adriano, was extremely busy, however he took the time to analyze and discuss the entire issue and showed a genuine concern to resolve the problem. His professionalism and customer care were exceptional and he felt it would be best if he discussed the matter with the Vice President, Jeffery Copan and see if he could set up a meeting. I met with Jeffery Copan, and I was very impressed and surprised at how he dealt with the situation. I was treated with the utmost dignity and respect and my problem became his problem as he took ownership of the situation. He was extremely reasonable and did everything he could to finalize a deal and make me happy. He then had his Sales Manager, Ting Ying, look after the transaction, which was done effectively. I am now the proud owner of a new Sonata and I couldn’t be happier. My thanks to Jeff Copan and the great team at Thornhill Hyundai. More

Of course it went down in price a lot, but i was determined get the best deal. After going around to different dealerships and looking at multiple options from brokers, trade-ins etc. Being one step away selling it on kijiji (how dreadfull) i got the price i was looking for at this dealership!!! Their offer beat the rest. BUT when i got all the papers ready and came to drop off my car....i was shocked to find that the guy who offered me the deal was no longer with the company. My heart literally stopped because i expected them to plead ignorance and dely the sale by doing some kind of inquiry. But after hearing me out they just signed all the papers without questions and took the responsibility for their former employee. I was out of there in 20 minutes with a cheque and old plates in my hand. Thank you very much to all the employees for understanding my situation!!! More

Like most buyers, I had visited several dealerships with my friends before I decided to buy Hyundai Elantra at Thornhill Hyundai. The sales person Jeorges Jiao was a very friendly guy unlike the other sales I met in different dealers always push the customers uncomfortably. He has been very patient with me each time from arranging the test drive on the first day till the last weekend he picked me up from my house to pick my new car. His manager, Ashley Lyons, is also a very friendly and professional lady. In one word, I had a very pleasant shopping experience with Thornhill Hyundai. Thank you Jeorges and Ashley! More
Test drive and Offer....then insane sales manager I went in and test drove an SUV and i liked it. The sales person Luiza was nice and seemed to know a lot about the truck and i was quite happy with th I went in and test drove an SUV and i liked it. The sales person Luiza was nice and seemed to know a lot about the truck and i was quite happy with that. After the test drive we went in and i told her i was interested in the Truck but didn't want to pay the sticker price, to which she said "ok, you can make an offer" So i agreed to make an offer. I was in a bit of a hurry and asked that she please be as quick as possible. All of this went pretty smooth until it came time to submit the offer...Luiza asked for a credit card, i told her i didn't want to give her my card because a. I knew my initial offer was never going to be accepted and b. i have heard that some dealers (this dealership actually) have put through deposits and the customers have had a hard time getting the deposit back. She then asked for my drivers licence instead, i agreed. Luiza took my offer to Jason Joerges and after about 12 minutes, i kept track of the time because i was in a hurry, as predicted the offer was denied. A bit slow but nothing too outrageous. However what came next is the most bizarre thing i've ever experienced from someone you are trying to purchase something from. Luiza told me that her manager (Jason Joerges) thought the offer was unreasonable and that I had to make a counter offer. While i knew the offer wasn't going to be accepted I also didn't feel it was "unreasonable" either so then I tried to tell Luiza that I'm not going to counter my own offer and that if she and her manager weren't going to make me a counter offer i'd have to leave and continue looking. This is where the problems started. First Luiza refused to take my words seriously. She refused to return my Licence which was being held hostage by Jason Joerges. She told me I had to make another offer. I refused for 10 minutes before it became apparent that if i didn't do something there was no way i'd make it out of there. So i told her i'd throw in my old beat up van...mistake by me. Luiza insisted on getting all the info on the van even though i told her it was only fit for the scrap yard and maybe $250 at best. So i again caved because i was trying very hard not to offend Luiza who was being very, very persistent. Finally she had the info and returned to Jason Jorges, but before she left i asked her very politely to please bring my licence back with her as i had somewhere to be and if the offer wasn't accepted I needed to leave. I was very clear of this point because of the way Luiza wasn't being very considerate of my time. Well after waiting another 14 minutes for Luiza to return i noticed Jason Joerges walking right behind her. This is where the crazy train broke out of the station. Jason Joerges, very loudly and from about 15 feet away asked me "Do you want to buy this truck or what?" pretty classy introduction to a potential customer. I responded playfully as i was hoping that was the technique Mr. Joerges was trying, poorly, to use "sure, as long as i get a good deal". Well Jason Joerges was having none of the playful banter, he then stood above me as i sat at Luiza's desk and threw my licence at me. Well whatever, sometimes you get a deal and sometimes you don't, right? That was my only thought. I thanked Luiza who looked as shocked as i was and i began to walk out. This is when Jason Joerges accused me of treating Luiza with disrespect and told me that "when i return" that i better treat her better. I was shocked....stunned....any other word you can think of. it was such an unprofessional move that I asked Jason Joerges for his name and job title so that i could complain and this is where Jason Joerges lost it. He started demanding i leave the dealership and even attempted to call the police. This part was actually amusing to me because while he wouldn't identify himself to me he did to the police on the phone which is how i learned his name to write this review...haha. in any case i'm sure the police found it amusing that some insane person was trying to call the cops on someone for being "disrespectful" haha...makes me laugh as i type this. Happy ending though....So while this was the most unprofessional thing i'd ever seen i did manage to find a dealership just around the corner with a similar truck (Less KM's and more options) and worked out a deal with them the very same day. So in closing if you're reading this Jason Joerges, thanks. If not for your insane histrionics i'd have never found a dealership that was more customer friendly....which isn't saying much because you are not....but hey, better truck, so thanks again. More
Worst auto dealership experience I was looking to purchase a car from Bos Auto in Oakville, they sent me to thornhill hyundai to do the financing, but I realised after that thornhill I was looking to purchase a car from Bos Auto in Oakville, they sent me to thornhill hyundai to do the financing, but I realised after that thornhill purchased the car from bos and re sold it to me, but bos is responsible for the safety and etest and thornhill added extra costs to the purchase without explaning it to me, i was orignally told the car was a lease return from audi and this information wasn't showing to me on the car proof, i went home and ordered a car proof myself since they never provided me with a copy, i noticed that the car was actually returned with a lein and sent back to the auction, so much for being an audi lease return! they continously pressured me by saying its a beautiful car, people die to have a car like this , etc etc. they also stated the car had an insurance claim of close to $8000 when in fact it was an estimate of $8000, the insurance never paid for the repairs. all this aside, i have two bill of sales, the car wasn't ready on time. I went to see the car as they stated it is certified and etested but they are waiting for the paint from audi to touch up the fender. I called TD canada explained them the situation and they said thornhill hyundai can reverse the sale. I called thornhill hyundai and was asked to goto bos auto to get the refund and was hung up on. i called thornhill back, reception was nice but we were unable to get a hold of the financial manager. So i went to bos auto to get the refund, and they started talking about how great the car is, this and that. They claimed the car was already safetied, I had my mechanic with me and we took the car for a test drive to see if it was safetied as we noticed a stone chip on the windsheild, while on the highway we noticed a vibration on the car and a pulsation when braking on the highway. there is also some strange noise on the passenger front, so we realized right away that this car WAS NOT SAFETIED. Currently really confused to still why I have two bill of sales from two different dealers, this is the worst car shopping experience and I have been advised by TD canada to contact OMVIC. Which I unfortunately have to do as the financial manager will not answer his phone and has been ignoring me all day. More
