Paid deposit, signed papers, they sold to next person! We put a deposit on a vehicle and they turned around and sold to the people who had it out for a test drive as we were leaving! Called and tried to say that they made a mistake and that it had already been sold, when we called them on it, because we knew someone else had it out for a test drive when we left, after we had put the deposit and signed papers, they finally admitted that we put deposit and signed papers first. They hadn't given us a signed copy of the paperwork, only visa receipt, and when we were back in the dealership they weren't going to give us a copy unless we signed another paper . Finally I just took the copy of the paperwork without signing the other one. Obviously this was a terrible experience and what made it worse was being lied to throughout and dealing with a business that is ruthless. Clearly about their bottom line, we had negotiated a good deal on the used vehicle and pretty likely the next buyers offered more so they didn't honour our signed purchase agreement with deposit. Used car manager Doug was so arrogant and rude. Kept back peddling when caught in lies. Just wanted us to go away. More

Misleading Advertising I got sucked in with the promise of 2015 Ram SXT 4x4 Quad Cab V8 for $26995.00 with a 0% finance rate for 36 months. The only truthful part of the re I got sucked in with the promise of 2015 Ram SXT 4x4 Quad Cab V8 for $26995.00 with a 0% finance rate for 36 months. The only truthful part of the regional ad that appeared on ramtruckoffers.ca was the interest rate. I was a wise customer who read the fine print and asked the appropriate questions and I was still led to believe I would be paying $26995.00 plus the dealers admin fee (which dealers use to pad the bill and circumvent OMVIC advertising regulations) taxes and licensing. Before I even agreed to test drive the 1st truck with the V8 which was the Exact Match to the $26995.00 price on ramtruckoffers.ca and confirmed by Lakehead Motors website, I advised Brad that I would not be paying the admin fee and confirmed the price of $26995.00 plus tax and licensing. While we were on the 1st test drive, I asked about the V6 option. Then before agreeing to test drive the 2015 Ram SXT 4x4 Quad Cab V6, I asked Brad if the V6 would be $1000.00 more than the V8 because on the Ram website it listed the V6 as an optional upgrade on the 2015 Ram SXT 4x4 Quad Cab. Brad informed me that no, only the truck I had just driven with the V8 was $26995.00. When we returned from driving the V6, Brad gave me colours options for both the V8 and the V6. I had already told him I liked the V8 in Grey and after seeing the V6 in Blue, we went back to his desk to crunch some numbers. The truck was not $26995.00 as advertised and confirmed on at least 2 occasions by Brad. The Exact Match written offer price came in at $28847.00 plus tax and licensing. That's $2152.00 more than I was quoted. Brad tried to tap dance his way through a series of excuses including blaming it on Ram when I asked him why he had quoted me $26995.00 and was now quoting me over $2000.00 more. I told him I was very upset about being mislead and that I would not be purchasing a vehicle. I also advised him that I would be sending an email to Ram to file a complaint over the way they had also mislead me with an ad that clearly designed to bait and switch the customer. More
